Shu = Five tigers, lead by Guan Yu.
1. Guan Yu
2. Zhang Fei
3. Ma Chao
4. Zhao Yun
5. Huang Zhong

Wei = Five generals of Wei, lead by Zhang Liao.
(In no specific order)
1. Zhang Liao
2. Xu Huang
3. Yu Jin
4. Yue Jin
5. Zhang He

Wu = Magnificent Five, led by Sun Jian.
1. Sun Jian
2. Huang Gai
3. Cheng Pu
4. Han Dang
5. Zu Mao

Thats the list of all the distinguished generals of the three kingdoms.... I think KOEI should AT LEAST add Cheng Pu, he had a significant role in the Wu Kingdom.... Adding Han Dang is debatable, Zu Mao is sort of... Nah.

Yu Jin and Yue Jin should defiantly be added to Wei's roster though.
Thanks for that :)

So Shu got its five Tiger's, yet the other Kingdom's don't seem to have fared so well. Interesting. I definitely think Cheng Pu is a priority add. I agree Han Dang and Zu Mao wouldn't be so useful. I don't think they have as much potential as Pu.

Apparently a whip has been confirmed as an available weapon, and it's easy to assume it'll be Diao Chan's EX weapon.

Again, I would argue that the Five Wu Elders better represent the Wu force as a whole. If you are going to compare them to the Tiger Generals and Wei's Five, then it would probably fit better then Sun Jian's group.

Wu's Five Elders were - Huang Gai, Cheng Pu, Han Dang, Zhu Zhi, and Ding Feng.

@MasterStrategist Diao Chan apparently does indeed have her whip back. A conference was held a while back, and a weapons PV was shown. In the video, a whip was revealed. :)

Oh I see, I was trying to search for the five elders of Wu, and it looks like they weren't an official group of warriors like The Magnificent Five, but I agree that it would be better to compare them to the Shu's Tigers.

After all those discussions on the last pages, where some people still can't decide, how they should call Chronicle Mode in the west.
We know it is called Conquest Mode in here.
But i have decided, that i will call it from now on:
Chronquest Mode :D .

About the EU-Voices in the last DW-Games:
Lambo was right with DW3. My German-Version had German, English, French and Japanese languages. He said something about a Spanish language.
I can't remember.
I had the German-Version from DW4. And it had a very good synchronization.
I mean, for one of the most difficult languages.
I miss that. Because, after DW4, they made only English language with German subtitles for all next DW-Games. Oh, yeah, and SW1 had a German language too. Also good. SW2, English with German subtitles.

@ BluueJay: I completely agree with you about the "Magnificient 5"-topic for each Kingdom. Especially Han Solo Dang and Cheng Pu.

@ (Master) Cao Pi: Are you on a Kamikaze-Trip or something?
Oh,.... you are already gone to vacation, again. See ya.

Here you are Jebus

Also i doubt the "Other" forces will get a PV video, for pretty much having no kingdom mode. The Wei PV and Jin PV both feature story cut scenes and whatnot.
I have a feeling the ''Others'' will be in a final trailer, although not really for a kingdom PV, but showing their scenes/gameplay amongst the other forces. Especially I will say that Lu Bu will be revealed in footage this way.

All of this really because I cannot honestly see them skipping Lu Bu out of all the trailers. Needing to say it sounds ludicrous itself, it's pretty much the equivalent of not showing Zhao Yun in any scenes.

then who would Wu five as a whole cause I always thought that
Gan Ning /Zhou Tai /Xu Sheng/Ding Feng/Zhu Ran
Could have fit the bill for Wu's top five to counter act Wei and Shu

The Wei Five were the top five generals outside the Cao/Xiahou family, not necessarily the top five in the entire force. The designation comes from the Sanguozhi, where the Caos and Xiahous were listed together and the Wei Five had their own section elsewhere in the document. Cao Ren and Xiahou Yuan would be candidates for a true top five of Wei with no regard to clan affiliation.

Personally I think Lu Bu may get a trailer all to himself. Obviously not quite as long as the Wei or Jin one, I'd say under a minute long. Although i'm probably wishfully thinking

Before people get carried away, we haven't actually seen the whip "officially". But it has been described to us by a (so-far) reliable source. So yes, we probably are going to have it, but it's not been proven yet.

Hence why Wei also has the Eight Tiger's I believe? Which is a supposed list that includes relatives of the Cao/Xiahou clan. Or is composed entirely of Cao/Xiahou relatives..? I can't remember, all the list searching I've been doing the past hour is starting to blend together.

Despite Koei and the games love of him, Dun didn't have alot of success historically. He probably wasn't the equal of Yuan or Cao Ren if you look at his career as a whole.

I was thinking that the other day! Lu Bu's entrance in Hu Lao Gate (6) was memorable to say the least!

LDZ, you're probably right. They might just do a general and final PV, showcasing the game as a whole, with a few scenes from Lu Bu. It seems likely.

I would say neither the Magnificent Five nor the Five Wu Elders represent the kingdom's best well enough compared to the Five Tiger Generals or Wei Generals (plus or minus the Cao clandidates, yes I made up a word) do.

Do artworks only come with the databook? I've been eagerly awaiting their arrival.

Xiahou Dun was a horrible military general in real history. After he got shot in the eye he barely fought for Cao Cao again.

That being said, he was said to be fantastic at internal matters and was apparently kind to his troops.

OT: I really hope Diao Chan has the whip, her moveset was one of the only ones I thoroughly enjoyed in DW6.

I don't really care either way personally. I respect how some people want them in and some people don't. But it I think completing the Wu Elders would be a better fit than the Magnificent Five.

They desperately need to add Cheng Pu. He's been due since DW3, and ever since I've picked up a copy of the game he has been top on my add list, (sans Zhout Tai and Cao Ren) for all kingdoms. Han Dang would also be a great add, along with Xu Sheng.
