I'm 9000% sure Any DW expansion will be released overseas. That I assure you.

Multi Raid 2/Strikeforce 2 said hi :P
DW Strikeforce isn't an expansion, it's a spinoff.

It's a damn shame really, SW3 Empires sounds interesting. I mean story mode in A Empires, surely thats more reason to release overseas. Oh wells.

EDIT: Actually I'm glad its not coming overseas because Twats like IGN(orant) and Gamespot won't give tecmo koei more of a bad name with their crap ratings. Gah the West pisses me off, Gamespot did a video touring the E3 Koei Booth, "Only good game here is Ninja Gaiden 3" acording to them, even though the retarded interviewer doesn't know how to play Champion Jockey properly. Tbh, I'm gonna wait for SW4.

This is probably just me being overly anal about spelling(hypocrisy much on my part? ), but it's just bugging the hell out of me to see everyone talking about editing their own capital. I keep thinking money when I see that

In other words, it should be capitol and apparently being exhausted makes me pickier about spelling. Go figure.

@ CloudJJ: Most of Koei's games have earned the mediocre scores they've generally earned from western reviewers, to be honest. It's a perfectly mediocre series, it's just we all kinda like it a lot because no other series has quite the same scale to battles(especially the ones with more advanced engines like DW6 and DW7). There's just nothing else quite like Koei's games.

Mugen Battousai and SES4skc7 I couldn't agree more. But if I had known before that it was only for the Wii heck before it even hit shelves I could have told you how it would go wrong so the only way KOEI could not know this would happen is if someone screwed up the decision I mean heck a guy with no Business experience could have predicted something like this. But that's just how bad they did with it just the Wii I was talking about. What their doing now is beyond stupidity. Xalfrea true Samurai Warriors XL would be better than nothing for us that got the game but to me Empire's would still be better.

If you're referring to a city which is the seat of government, it is in fact a capital. The capitol is the building in which the legislature meets.

Uhh, real content now...

I think liking the Warriors series is more a liking of the setting than anything. It really is a repetitive action game, even if the stereotypical "mash one button" that everyone complains about will just get you killed in the game.

Subjective. But as far as games went, I felt that while I enjoyed DW more, I liked the stories and characters in SW1 more than DW4. There were less characters, giving them a chance to develop them further, and the stories were more character oriented than kingdom so they seemed more open to the individual story modes.

UNFORTUNATELY, it's greatest mistake is the simple fact that it came AFTER Dynasty Warriors. So when the casual fans look at it, they'll always think of it as a clone game and will probably ignore it, even if it might be better than the original franchise.

That's it then  Koei is dead to me
I prefered SW to DW, and i  Empires
i tolerated SW3 on the Wii cause i thought it would come to the other consules later(DAMN EXCLUSIVITY) then i hear they're coming then they WEREN'T.
AND NOW.... my favourite game by Koei is NOT COMING. for everyone's information when i read that, sooo many curses flew out of my mouth :realangry: :realangry: :realangry:

I have lost all faith in Koei. they are stupid, they suck :meantongue:

PS. i will probably get DW7E if it gets here. <_< but other than that all faith LOST!!!

Can we stop going on these little whiny rants about Koei not releasing games in the west as more than half of this thread already is? Whining that isn't coming from me is just so annoying to me Posted Image

ON TOPIC...Any info on features beyond that Famitsu scan yet?

I'm disappointed, but not surprised they are not localising it...

I might actually import this game because I really want to play another Empires game, DW6E was okay but not as great as SW2E/DW5E...

Speaking of import, can anyone tell me a reliable + quick ship? I was thinking of Yesasia.

hasn't anyone ever heard of importing games? :hmmm:

I have a Japanese copy of The Last Story and Sengoku Musou 3XL for my Wii, if you can't get it in the country, get it from Japan, even if you don't understand the language

I learned how to play the games by guessing the controls and roughly translating what the characters say in Japanese to English in my mind (but I just took random guesses at the Japanese texts)

We know about importing games. Several of us do. I am one of them.

Or, was.

Until I realized that paying an extra $20-$50 for currency exchange and shipping/handling wasn't worth it in the end. I'm getting a game, supporting another country's economy, that I don't even really understand.

Not to mention that not all consoles are region-free. XB360 and Wii are region lock, meaning I either have to pay even MORE to get a console from that country, or risk my account being banned or console being bricked and mod it. For the PS3, this is no big deal, but still, I'm paying $20-$40 extra for a game in jibberish, and guestimating/waiting for others to translate it is just more extra work from me for a game that I can probably do without in the long run.

Not everyone is willing or can import. To some of us, it's not worth it. If Koei can't be bothered to spend extra money to localize a game, then I can't be bothered to spend extra money to support their games in their country.

Simple as that.

Since now I have a PS3, I guess the only option left is to import. I really would like to experience SW3E, it'll be my first time playing an Empires title, even if I can't read and understand Japanese fully.

As disappointed as I am in Koei for abandoning us western fans, that's still not going to turn me away. I'll keep buying their games, at least to show my interest in their stuff.

I will not import, this gives Koei more reason to not localize the game. They can save money and keep it in Japan knowing people from the West will import it. I not saying don't do it, I wouldn't.

Compaines will do anything to save money. Keeping it in Japan and allowing the West to import is a perfect for them. They will have no reason to ever localize the games again.

Just saying.

SES4skc7 your not supposed to double post. But you couldn't be more right. The more people Import the more you help games not come oversea's. :/

I agree a little, but you have to be careful. You could lose fans. That is why I say keep the DW and SW games global. Other games stay home and throw a bone to the west once in a while like OW empries, I can only dream.
Well, I don't think the SW fans in the West are big enough in numbers to create a significant loss. But yeah, by not releasing the game, the already small SW fanbase will get even smaller.

From a different perspective, the more people import, the more chance there will be for a new ieration. In another word, importing also helps keep the game alive.

Not necessarily. I think importing shows them that western fans are still interested in their games. I am disappointed with their decision, but at least I'll help them get out of their financial fix by buying their stuff.

So I finally caught up...

I had figured that it was about them making SM3 on the Wii before Jsun even posted the summary.

And certain people in this thread seriously make me wonder how old they are...
