I do agree with you, I like games for their stories, not just gameplay and graphics. Although some Japaneses versions have more to them like most RPGs. In SW, especially Empires it would be important to know the language, because unlike DW the player has less freedom on the battle field. Anyhow, I would not buy the SWE\\XL\Z in Japanese because if an SW4 would be better, hopefully. Edited by Kaon, Sat Jun 18, 2011 4:24 am.

Awww damn, I checked the KW front site's chart of games and saw that SW3E won't be released after all. Same goes for the DW7 Special. Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with Koei these days. Edited by Barnzi88, Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:52 pm.

I wasn't trying to restart dramatics or anything, I just thought this was very disappointing. But I am hopeful there'll be a SW 4 in the future. I haven't abandoned Koei completely. |

Humph well I bet you anything if their is a SW4 in the West it will be for the Wii U and the other consuls so this may be the last time I see a KOEI game for a long time.

Huh? You're getting this and DW7 Special confused. Special is on the PSP and won't get localized. The Vita version will release around the time Vita does. |

Okay....People that stop being a fan of koei over one lousy game are idiots. Who knows, this game might be bad? I don't see japanese people rage when they dont get games translated in Japanese. If people are gonna stop following koei cause they decide to not release this, well your just stupid, it's clear this game won't sell well, it just won't, only koei fans will buy this, this game has NO CHACNE against other games coming out this year, so whats the point of making the effort to release it for a small amount of people? Besides, all Empire games are just meh. They're fun for a month then get boring imo. But if People are gonna be babies because this isn't being released I really encourage koei to not make games anymore for moaners.

I don't really think. SW3 had bad sales in west mainly because it was for Wii. Had it been for 360/PS3, the sales would been a lot better and the game too (since 360 and PS3 are a bit more powerful than Wii). Next time they will hopefully not repeat that mistake and instead release SW4 for 360/PS3. |

...um, that's probably because that doesn't happen often. There's many people who will ditch a company if they don't get what they want or are severely disappointed, especially among companies like Koei. Also, this game isn't even releasing this year, for the West anyway. I doubt that by September they will have this game out and translated already. In Japan, it will do well because Koei games normally always do pretty well over there. Not saying you don't have a point that people complain too much about no release, but, yeah. It's not even fully confirmed this won't get a Western release, and it's really too early to tell, anyway. The game's not even done yet. |

CloudJJ: Hard to take you serously when you can't even spell but KOEI has failed to give us more than ONE great game we deserve so no were not whining over one simple loss. Fuuma: When I read about the Wii U and its capabilities it said that it will be on the same level as the XBOX360 and PS3 which will give the Wii a better name and will defently attract video game makers. |

The Wii U controller though looks so bulky and unattractive compared to the psVita and even the psp and nds. I'd definitely go for the psVita over the Wii U anyday. Besides, Dragon's Crown is on the former, and it looks amazing!!!! haha Has there been any new info released on Empires yet?? I want to see how Empire mode has changed, and which ten factions will have stories.... |

You know whats weird is that this game comes out in august, which is right around the corner. I'm planning on importing it, so hopefully the text isn't all over the place where its hard to memorize anything from guessing. When do you guys think DW7E will be leaked, announced, or whatever? After special comes out perhaps? |

Agreed its just a game after all oh well now i am waiting for the official anouncment that SW3E will not come overseas and i am waiting for DW7E to come hopefully it will not be as DW6E.But i disagreed a litle with ya surely only fans will take SW3E in the west but since not so many strategy games are made it would have some more sales because people would like to see a strategy game and will test SW3E and maybe it would be liked by some. oh yeah and Maeda toshie about what you say for DW7 special ill give ya an answer: not many people in the west have PSP so it would not have many sales this is why it will not come at the west and i believe is the only reason that it will not come to the west. |

So you're complaining about us complaining, real mature there. I thnk Empires are better games. The Main games are the same and the reason why casual fans will not buy the games. Empries are different. |

It's been a while since I last checked this Thread. No New Info, huh? Maybe we will get something in July... I have some theories about the new Clan Story Mode and I want to share with you guys. - Clan Story Mode It has been confirmed that there are over 600 Playable Characters in the Game, so it's highly possible that some of the generic ones will be featured in some stages of the Clan Mode, maybe with Unique/Semi-Unique Models. If my Logic is correct, they will give the 10 Spots to the Big and Important ones like: Oda, Toyotomi (Later becomes Western Army), Tokugawa (Later becomes Eastern Army), Takeda, Uesugi, Hojo, Mouri, Chousokabe, Date and Shimazu. The Tachibana doesn't get a spot because they were just a Clan under Otomo Sorin (A highly possible addition in the Future), and considering the Game will focus in historical facts, and Not a re-use of SW3 Stories (If that's the case, Tachibana will stick with Mouri, ugh). Regarding the Stages, it's very possible that each Clan will have around 10-15 Stages in a total of 2-4 hours each. The Three Unifiers will likely get 15 stages, while less important ones like Date will get 10. That's just my opinion, not actual info. I may be wrong or right... Who knows? BTW, Regarding the Petition Spoiler: click to toggle

I think they will take the lazy way and just re-use most scenarios and stories from SW3 and combine them to clans. I categorized all 40 characters to the 10 clans, so this would be my predicment (not exactly historically accurate): 1. Oda Nobunaga, Katsuie, Toshiie, Noh, Hanbei, Ranmaru 2. Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Mitsunari, Kiyomasa, Masanori, Nene, Sakon, Yoshihiro 3. Tokugawa Ieyasu, Hanzo, Tadakatsu, Ina, Yoshimoto, Kanbei (he's in Tokugawa to balance the three unifiers cast) 4. Akechi (separate from Oda, yes not very historical) Mitsuhide, Gracia, Motochika 5. Uesugi Kenshin, Kanetsugu, Keiji, Aya 6. Hojo Ujiyasu, Kotaro, Kai 7. Takeda-Sanada (otherwise Shingen would be "forever alone") Shingen, Yukimura, Kunoichi 8. Azai Nagamasa, Oichi 9. Mouri-Tachibana whatever (you name it) Motonari, Ginchiyo, Muneshige, Okuni (well look at her story in Z) 10. Date Masamune, Magoichi (the only clan without female, poor Mago...) Tell me what you think of these. This is not supposed to be entirely historically accurate. |

Jsun was the one who went to E3 and talked with Koei there and said that sw3e won't be coming west side but that isn't set in stone. For all we know the game could be hugely successful in japan which risk koei into taking a chance and releasing to the states and other places but don't get your hopes up. |

Knew the Petition would do well in the first month but other than that I knew their was variety in fighting as who and what Army to use in Empire's all that are more ways its better than just standerd SW games.
