Ah cool if I wasn't the leader I would do that so I could reap benefits from both sides of the war and not care which side wins lol :)

Koei were foolish to the max for not bringing Samurai Warriors 3Z to the Xbox... and I bet they won't with Empires. I mean really... with the success of Dynasty Warrior 7 if they released Samurai Warriors 3Z and Empires on 2 discs as a double pack then well... Im sure they will make a worth while profit. Seriously who is on over seas business management team in Koei Corporation? Whoever it is they are dumb ducks.

I already knew about this for some time now, but no one ever pays attention to me and my valuable info... I really hope to see Miyamoto Musashi, Sasaki Kojiro, Ishikawa Goemon (Revamped) and Honganji Kennyo to make a return, and I think it's very possible this time.
I'm not sure for those two. Ishikawa Goemon would have more impact being added in Samurai Warriors 4 and about Honganji Kennyo, I don't even know if they realize they "forgotten" him.

Man koei is on fire this year a lot of games coming out non stop

who knows, they might reaveal SW3 Empires and DW7 XL next week at E3 .

Yet i think the greatest idea that koei should have done is Warriors Orochi 3 .

I don't see a reason why Goemon should return. He wasn't well liked + he contributes very little to the actual story which revolves around Oda/Toyotomi/Tokugawa. And just let go of the whole Kennyo thing. He was in the first SW so they would already have brought him back as playable if they wanted to.

Save character slots for those who need them and do not fill the cast with unnecessary characters (like in DW7, Bao Sanniang/Cai Wenji...).

Well, important or not, I am one of those who don't appreciate that a character is deleted once it is added. So I want the return of Musashi, Sasaki, Goemon and they add Kennyo as a playable character. Kennyo could be an interesting character in term of look; maybe a Monk.

Honganji Kennyo sounds like a badass character ;_; He could use Kiyomori Taira's (Warriors Orochi 2) Prayer Beads moveset. Musashi and Kojiro are far more popular though, it'd make sense to bring them back first.

Just a little fun fact for those of you being pessimistic about a western release of this: remember how awful DW6's reception and sales were in the west? DW6E fared much better. Consdiering that, maybe we'll get a western release ^_^

BTW, I made a petition for a Oversea Release of SW3 Z/XL and Empires! Please sign it! http://www.PetitionOnline.com/SW3ZXLE/petition.html
I have signed your petition. I will tell you that it's going to take alot more than five signatures to persuade Koei to localize the game. But do know that making a petition is a step in the right.

Man, I usually don't comment on things like this, but this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard seen someone post...

The reason why Samurai Warriors Three Z wasn't released on the Xbox Thirty-Sixty, is because the sales of that system are very poor in Japan. Thus, the reason why it was released on Playstation Three, is because the sales of that system is very strong, and Koei knowing that, that is why they released it on that system.

But DW is Koei's flagship franchise, isn't it? The SW doesn't seem to fare as well in the west in general, letalone how SW3 did.

But still, I want to believe. I enjoyed the DW Empires games, and I've never tried an SW Empires game before.

Wow, I guess I'm the only one who actually enjoyed dw6e. Anyway I hope that this will be released in the west, even if its only for ps3, then at least some of us will get to play it. I just hope its an upgraded version of sw2e like everyone is hoping for and please do something about the character creation system because its just so horrible right now.

Though I'm hopeful I'm wrong, it's quite unlikely that it'll either be released in the west, or in Wii format. So I'm screwed both ways.

At first I was going to question the lack of shown new content, but from what you guys are talking about, Empires seems to mean a whole new mode is added. What is this Empires deal?

Wow SW3:Empires. I can't say I'am anticipating it but mostly because I don't want to get my hopes up and be let down when it doesn't come here to the western area.

SW3 in general has been one whole let down with SW3Z/XL not coming here and SW3 itself with low sales. But on the good side if SW3:Empires comes here to the western area then the three new characters Masanori, Aya, and Gracia is finally playable to everyone so I guess we''ll have to wait and see.

Huh, you must be new to the series, I assume? =0 (I'm not saying you're ignorant or anything!! Don't get offended... xD)

Empires is pretty much an expansion in a way, although it doesn't have story more and whatnot like the normal ones do.
Basically, you go around fighting battles like you normally would, but now you're capturing territories/prefectures until you've captured all of them. (It doesn't go story-wise, though. You can capture whichever territory you want as long as it's around your own. [Masamune never captured Anegawa! Well, he can now.])

You can make your own army and ally with other leaders to defeat another. Usually if you take another ruler's territory, you'll capture at least one of their officers.

Oh yeah, you get to choose who you want to play as (you can change characters during the actual mode, too) and/or you get to make your own officer. (They can be a ruler too, if you want.)

...I'm really awful at describing this, but that's the basic premise. It's really fun, though! I tend to like the Empires more than the actual game itself.

What are you talking about? Motochika and Motonari already have unique character designs.

I mean in Empires. SW2E they were generics.

Also, I'm signing that petition that I see somewhere around here.

I liked making Tadakatsu my ***** in Empires  and how SW2E already assumed that Nobunaga was my CaW's father, which he is, hehehe.

Also, this should feature online play. I mean, someone can be one clan against mine.

if SW3E is only going to be for PS3 then I'm disappointed for 2 reasons

1. if you could make a really good game on Wii then you should be able to make it better for other game consoles, the Wii is a pretty good console for testing to see how good a game could be

2. the only console I have is a Wii

Wow, really? I can only hope that KOEI milks this one successfully enough in Japan to recover enough capital to fund some more risky western releases ^_^

I didn't think I'd even see an Empires version, but they must be a REAL easy cash-in if they expect to turn profit on it.

I don't expect this one to make it overseas at all either, but hopefully it sells well enough to allow future games to be released overseas.
