Okay, we are less than two months away from E3 2012, and it seems that the Mario House has given us some early news as to what they are showing at the Expo. Please Note that I did intentionally double post. I could need the space for what all of the exhibitors are showing at the expo.

Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012
Theme: Innovation Unveiled
Dates: June 5-7, 2012 (Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, depending on scheduling, usually holds a massive press conference for their respective company the day before, or June 4th)
Location: Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, CA USA.

So another June is upon us, as we reach E3 2012. As always speculation and expectations are high and rampant as the newest games and hardware will be announced from June 4-June 7.

Like the last years, pumped up for the Nintendo side of things, as the Wii U will make its debut and attention on the 3DS is sharp for new, upcoming titles.

I'm just looking for games i will be wasting money on come this fall. For some reason I am not super excited by anything they might reveal, but here's hoping for some nice surprises (such as NetherRealm's recently revealed Injustice: Gods Among Us.)

PS3 gets my vote, Sony always bring the games.

Nintendo will have a big show too, I just hope the Wii U is up to scratch.

Microsoft, if their show is anything like the last few years, might as well just stop doing E3 all together. It literally consists of:

Call of Duty gameplay (10 minutes) ---> multiplatform gameplay (10 minutes) -----> Kinect Krap (1 hour of garbage) ----> Halo 4/ Gears of War (15 minutes) ---> End.

And with the recently revealed Zone of the Enders 3, Konami knows how to appease American gamers who are looking for a good time.

Konami will have a very strong showing this year, I guarantee it.

I just wish they would hold off announcements for the show. Last year, everything Sony showed was known before the press conference, and I feel like they are doing it again, and I don't just mean Sony. Year after year, news sources always make it a big deal on who had the best conference and won E3, and I just don't see the advantage on showing stuff in the weeks leading up to E3. Sure, there will be some surprises, but I feel like it gets less every year, with companies so eager to show their new games before E3 even starts.
Obviously the new games are there no matter what, so it should be no difference, but I only complain because for me its getting to the point of where I am more excited to watch and see announcements rather than I am to actually play any of the games being talked about, as my video game playing has decreased quite a bit.
But definitely still super stoked for it. But all the major conferences will be shown on Spike except for Sony :kurokan: Fetch! the one I want to watch the most, will be the most difficult to do so with all the buffering crap I'll have to go through. Always end up missing like the first 10 minutes every year.

I have to agree with Ashitaka, I used to love watching E3 because almost everything anyone would show would be a massive surprise. Now you can't go a day leading up to E3 without one developer or another spilling the beans on their latest project, or GTTV getting all hyped about 'ANOTHER UNBELIEVABLE EXCLUSIVE WORLD PREMIRE ON A GAME YOU WON'T BELIEVE'.

The problem for us E3 fans is that revealing games before the event makes business sense. The companies try to steal the hype away from other potential announcements - like Ubisoft and AC3 for example. Because they revealed it before E3, everyone is hyped to see it in action, and have time to speculate/ hype it up even further before the big event.

Still sucks that was only get - at most - a couple of big surprises per show at E3. Sometimes less.

Well, i wonder what's going to be shown but what I'm more interested in seeing would be all the fails and wonder if they'll match up to 2010's disappointments if anyone remembers that.

Its interesting that some of the biggest exclusives are even being revealed before E3... wouldnt that Playstation Battle Royal or Gears of War Judgement not have been massive crowd pleasers if we didnt already know they were coming. I can see valid reasoning in wanting to not lose hype to another title but if your being exposed in one of the three main platform conferences then EVERYONE is watching.

Looking forward to the Microsoft one personally - as im off Monday to see it and its being streamed live via Xbox Live. Too often have sites failed me with their versions of streams of the events.

Well, might as well start off with what was shown at the Big N's Pre-E3 Direct.

THE HYPE BEGINS!

It's actually a pretty funny concept when you think of all the gamers in the world huddled around laptops and monitors, shouting at the screen when things like Kinect get shown, and cheering when Kaz Hirai waltzes onto Sony's stage.

One of the best days to be a gamer.

GiantBomb (and Gamespot) are live streaming the press conferences if anyone is interested in them.

Microsoft is starting now:

http://www.giantbomb.com/chat/

I'll edit with the schedule for the rest.

(all Eastern times, so do the maths)

12:30pm - Microsoft
4:00pm - Electronic Arts
6:00pm - Ubisoft
9:00pm - Sony

Nintendo I guess is tomorrow.

3 years in a row, Microsoft fail to impress. Sure, there were no super embarrassing moments this time, but there were no surprises either.

Timed exclusive DLC (again), Kinect apps and games that no gamers give a damn about (again), and a bunch of games they show every single year (again).

The most interesting thing announced was this 'Xbox Smartglass' thing, which allows you to hook up your smart phones, tablets and TVs to your Xbox.

So yeah... nothing to see here folks.

The only thing I had any interest in they only showed like 10 seconds of...and that was the new Gears of War. Other than that, nothing really had me going "I WANT IT!"

Though, I can't say I wasn't interested in the Tomb Raider. Doesn't look terrible...i'd play it.

But overall...it was a boring, boring show.

Yeah, it was a solid show to be honest, but it was just sooooo boring. Even most of the gameplay was boring.

Hmmmm Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are what caught my interest for the show. The other games shown were good but nothing I'll be interested in grabbing. Of course the other stuff XBL stuff is nice for those who care for it.

So for me it was a pretty decent conference.

Nothing new gaming wise - Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider etc... if these names sound familiar its because theyve all had at least six games in their respective series already and yet these were the big shown titles at the Microsoft Conference.

To me the conference for Xbox was.... EVERY game and App must now feature Kinect to some degree (only Cod, Southpark and Resi didnt feature it from memory), Yank guff to the max (yank only sports apps and entertainment channels etc) and a rather neat connection of Tablet/phone/console but a feature which will not ever get used often. Only thrill for me was Internet Explorer finally coming to Xbox 360 but again will it get used all that often - they havent even managed to get UK ITV player yet (full new apps list is on Major Nelsons Blog)

This is a constant stream on Gametrailers for all of today and most of tomorrow. It has all the conferences, and a load of trailers, interviews and previews in between. Seems like the best place to watch E3 this year for sure. Not a single technical hitch for me so far.

Ubisoft's conference was so fun! I loved it. Finally a good one. Sure it got a little cheesy at times, but it had personality, and it was enjoyable.

Assassin's Creed 3 looks AMAZING!

And HOLY ****, YALL! Watch_Dogs, take my damn money!
