Eh... looks alright. Thought it was an MMO at first, but looks like it isn't. I still see nothing that would make me want a Wii U. Nintendo, I am disappoint.

But hey, at least we got a new meme from Nintendo right? ZOMBIE REGGIE! Don't think I ever loled so hard at E3.

EDIT: Wii U spec sheet revealed:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-05-nintendo-wii-u-supports-1080p-cpu-and-gpu-revealed

No HDD? I died a little inside.

Such pessimism. It's a bad year, people were saying the same thing two years ago. And its not like there arent ANY good games, just not as many as usual...or last year, anyway.

CHEER UP, GENTLEMEN!

Some good news; Wii U Gamepad doesn't run on batteries:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-05-wii-u-gamepad-battery-life-detailed

It uses an AC adapter, and you can charge it while you play, which is a huge plus (something you can't do with a Wiimote). Now the big question is... how much is just one of these gamepads going to cost? One comes with the Wii U, but you can make use of up to two. It ain't gonna be cheap...

@Mr. Kamikaze: Cheer up? Cheer up?! GAMING IS DEAD! DON'T YOU READ THE INTERNET?! DEAD!

I personally thought this year was way better than last year. Tomb Raider, The Last Of Us, Halo 4, Splinter Cell (BRING IRONSIDE BACK), Black Ops II, Watch_Dogs, Beyond, Assassin's Creed III, all looked great.

Was hoping for Mr. Caffeine at Ubisoft (dooduhleehdoo), and Kevin Butler at Sony.

But, there was nothing...

Well actually, you're totally wrong... Nah, I'm joking - yeah, I can't disagree. That's a very logical way to look at it. We didn't get many surprises at all, but we did get a good look at some great games. AC3, Last of Us, and Watch Dogs all looked superb.

This E3 especially is gonna get people ranting on forums - it was boring. But... it was solid, bar a few things, for the most part. I mean, I was keeping my expectations down and was still disappointed. I do think this is going to be a year we look back on though and say 'meh it wasn't that bad really'.

Can we handle more streaming? I feel totally drained lol what're the chances of Bamco having good stuff? Thanks for the link UpInMahBubble! Didn't even know this existed if I'm honest. I'm going to laugh if they outdo the big three.

Capcom has a twitchTV stream too:

Showing Lost Planet 3 right now - it's not a conference but they are going through the games while filming. Hopefully we can see some RE6, among others?

Nice to see that Nintendo supporting the modern times now, save the HDD feature. However, I can't say that I blame them because the Wii was the most hacked console last generation, and I am sure that the higher ups at Nintendo felt that adding a HDD would encourage more hacking.

Well I watched the 3DS software thing... Almost as disappointing as Nintendo's actual conference. They didn't show anything they didn't already show during the tiny 3DS segment at the media briefing.

Castlevania and Paper Mario look good, other than that it was pretty pointless... I would have loved to have seen Fire Emblem, but alas...

I was teetering on the edge of possibly getting a 3DS sometime this year - Nintendo could have persuaded me with some big games that I personally like, but right now they just haven't done it for me yet. Damn shame 'cause my Vita is dying a slow painful death as it is.

I think Nintendo seemed to be projecting the stuff that's only coming out in the immediate future (IE This year). And Fire Emblem IS coming:

https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/statuses/210553611237863424

Nintendo seems to have to walk a fine line. People complain if they announce stuff far in advance and then it gets delayed a lot or isn't as good as they were expecting (heck, they got some of that too this year with the lack of info about Animal Crossing 3DS), but they also complain if they set their announcement range too close, because it seems like the games aren't being worked on at all even though they are.

day 1 was the best day ever.

however, after every premeire on day 1, the excitment lvl reached it's peak and has been steadily decreasing after that day, even more so after Koei revealed the secret Western focused game was FotNS and Ni-Oh was planned to be there and e3 is praticly ove now, and no one has seen it.

overall, truly epic day 1 by ubisoft and sony, but because i'm a fan of Koei after Day 1 it was kinda of uneventful

Yeah, but E3 is always like this.

Day 1 has all the conferences, kinda wish they were more spread out...

I don't know, spreading out the conferences this year would have just spread the disappointment. Although it would have given people time to actually forget about the last abysmal conference and move on before the next.

From now on I just say let Nintendo go first. Then we can be excited by mediocre conferences which in comparison seem fantastic compared to Nintendo :hehe:

My god what a mediocre showing.

Watch Dogs and Last of Us were the only good things out of those awful, awful conferences.

To me, for the first time in a long time, MS did beat Nintendo though. Maybe it was because I actually had some hope for Nintendo and the Wii U, or maybe because MS actually showed some decent games like Tomb Raider and the new Splinter Cell.

The rest of MS however, was also total garbage and just as bad. If I had to give a stupid and not-needed score to this E3, I'd give it a very, very average 5/10 as a whole.

I don't think so. With MS disappointing, and lining Activision's pockets in the process, many PS3 fans with their COD DLC BS, and their "Smart glass" technology, a lot of their conference was about [censored] off PS3 owners and playing catch up at the same time.

I mean, under the old terms, MS could delay the map packs for PS3 owners for up to a month? With the COD Elite, that period was stretched even further for up to two months as they released the content in batches instead of one lump package.
