Fu Xi in my opinion is one of the greatest warriors that ever walke China. He has an amazingly powerful weapon the just crushes anybody(Except Lubu of course) although he is slow he looks cool with that sword to. And it sucks that they took him out of newer DW games until WO2, cant wait till that game comes out to play as him. |

Wouldn't Fu Xi and Nu Wa be the most powerful Chinese characters in this game, storylinewise? They are a married divine couple who created humankind
And I can't imagine Koei's Fu Xi having invented the guqin like in the ancient myths ^^ He looks simply to brawn for that. Will he be the final boss or something if you play the campaigns of the bad guys or something? I like his design, although Nu Wa's is better. I would have liked to see less of an anthropomorphic representation. And his spiked hair is lol.

I assume you don't know much of WO2 then.No they wouldn't.Taigong Wang is more or less, the leader of the three. And they aren't together.Fu Xi is in Samurai, and Nu Wa in Wei. And there are 3 bosses in the Orochi storyline.Taigong Wang is the leader, then Fu Xi,and then Nu Wa. |

Nope, I haven't even played the first WO. This game caught my attention precisely because there were new fighters like Sun Wukong, etc. Why would Taigong Wang be the leader of the three? On the Taigonga Wang thread there were some videos of Fu Xi and Nu Wa talking down to him as "boy" Oh well, maybe it was just for fun.

Taigong Wang isn't really the leader of the three - they tend to work together. If anything, Fu Xi & Nu Wa are the ones in charge - together, they act as a benevolent counterpart to Orochi (whereas Taigong Wang has a counterpart in Da Ji). Taigong Wang just has a habit of speaking the most and making speeches; which could be a reason he's misinterpreted to be the 'leader'. |

Plus he was in the middle in Orochi's cutscene. And,if I'm not mistaken,at the top of the officers in Orochi's last stage(Taigong Wang at the top, then Fu Xi,then Nu Wa). |

I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or not; but the point your brought up doesn't really mean anything in terms of permanent leadership. Taigong Wang could have been known as the 'the' commander of the Hinokawa stage. Rather that looking at who's the leader.... a more appropriate understanding may be looking at them as a family unit - which is more or less how they treat each other anyway. |

Fu Xi is the leader of the three it says so on the official site.
He is a brilliant strategist who leads Taigong Wang and Nu Wa. Also in WO2 they are portrayed as brother and sister not as husband and wife. ZOMG they are the only single one in the game! Oh wait that is not entirely true Nu Wa has Cao Cao Taigong has Da Ji & Fu Xi has....well I cant think of his at the moment.

Firstly? Noting the date the last post was made before your's; it's clear that said statements were made only with partial information. It's not very beneficial to reply to a post that's making a statement with partial information at the time when one now has current information that potentially overrides the initial statement. As much as the official site is official; I'd rather have in-game confirmation (more so; Japanese confirmation). Websites (even official ones) can be incorrect. That being said, if it's the only statement - then it makes sense to accept. In Hinokawa; he seems to be the one most focused on having Orochi held accountable by Heaven's law. Also, Taigong Wang and Da Ji are not a couple - they openly hate each other. The only person Taigong Wang has noted an appreciation of physical beauty towards is Diao Chan (approach her at Nagashino with him). |

I already knew that Taigong Wang and Da Ji hated eachother... And Fu Xi and Nu wa are husband and wife. I never liked Fu Xi's moveset at all so slow... But he looks better now |

I would like for Fu Xi to return to look different and more like in DW3. His Bladestorm outfit just doesn't interest me in this series. However, I believe his voice is marvelous, maybe a bit too strong of a word there...but.. also his moveset is fun enough to use. His personality also interests me which I'm glad I'm brave enough to say. We don't want both his and Nu Wa's moves to be wiped off and completely redone, some nostalgia needs to be kept intact. |

I didnt like his DW3 look, he looked to generic and like a regualer officer or warrior. Fu Xi is a mystic and he should look more like one, and I think his is portrayed well in WO2, he looks a lot stronger and more like a leader. And I do agree with his voice, very fitting for him. |

Fu Xi is perhaps one of the greatest power characters I've ever used, aside from Orochi. His strength is akin to a boss character, but he's pretty balanced so that he doesn't reach the Orochi boss status. It's good to see his weapons have remained unchanged since DW3 and beyond. His third costume makes his helmet seem too futuristic, but it's still a good outfit, nonetheless. I do wonder though on what's with the small goatee there, hm? |

I liked how they change his looks and armor. Looks more Godly, to me. I agree with Sonic, he and Nu Wa looked too normal for Gods. WO2, he looks tight |

Do ya know what I love about Fu Xi the most? When you defeat an officer and they say... Officer: Damn, was my might not enough...? Fu Xi: Not even close. The first time I heard that I laughed... I'm also a really big lover of his new look, it looks almost futuristic... But in a mystical sort of way, I think it makes him look like the man. |

Gotta say his musuo is plain rubbish - the worst of the new characters, he does however has a decent POWER type moveset. He packs a punch and his special is incrediably damaging and reminds me a lot of the one Guan Yu uses to carve his way through a battlefield with ease. Seeing not everyone likes his new appearence but i think it really makes him stand out as a "god", the only thing im not sure about is the over long horn but that aside is perfect as given his speed why not make sense of it by having a huge sword complemented with heavy armour (ala Seigfried from Soul Caliber series) |

Aww man, and I was looking forward to reliving some of the old DW4 CAW moments with it. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that musou was toned down in the WO series anyway. I haven't used him all that much, but from the little I have played, he is pretty fun to use I'm really liking his C1. Even though most DW characters got C1 nerfs, his still has auto-Flame (similar to Guan Yu) and appears to have something else (auto-Flash?) as well. Nice special attack too With his design and PWR moveset, I get the feeling that I am using a godly/mystic character. |
