Do people think that DLC weapons will be coming out every month now or every two months or something? I hope its every month, thats how DW7 went right? |

If I remember the last DW7 DLC weapon was going to be featured with the Sai's but were later canceled and hinted for a new character. If I remember I think there was a two month gap between each one and usually came as a pair, with the weapon DLC being a week apart perhaps there being sold separate or made into a pack later? Granted translation is hard to come across when I tried looking at the DLC page off DW8 with a Google Chrome translation it didn't mention any other new weapons on any page. Not sure if they plan to add more later or not since we still have the original costumes to come and some wallpapers which more or less marked the end for DW7 DLC, but I'm not sure off by heart if the scenarios were added before or after the the original costumes, but I remember the original costumes being more or less last to appear. Gan Ning and Ling Tong are probably actors in some Kungfu fields. Ding Feng is like a noh, kabuki stage performer. And Zhou Tai probably mafia, or a cameo of Michael Jackson or this dude. What bothers me is that almost Wu costumes consist of serving type jobs: maids, dealer, bartender. And the smart men of Wu (ZY, LX, LS, LM) are all part of these service jobs. |

No Gan Ning and Ling Tong are fast food workers. Pretty obvious. Though I need to see what the chinese they're using is for a restaurant to be called Tiger Fung. |

the Koei Wiki has Daqiao labeled as a "Family Restaurant waitress" and she has a little badge that has a tiger on it, like Ling Tong and Gan Nings outfits. maybe their costumes are meant to tie in that they work in a family run restaurant together. |

Because it isn't obvious. Unless it's outrighted stated, those clothes could signify anything. Heck for all we know, Ling Tong could be a college student with a glove fetish. Edited by FKA, Sun May 12, 2013 10:38 am.

Actually, they are supposed to be workers at a gas station. Somebody on the Baidu forums posted a screencap of Gan Ning's backside, and there are the characters for "gas oil" written on the hat he has there. So, yeah. Car mechanics I suppose... |

I really am not feeling these modern job costumes tbh, I'd rather they did some costumes that fit with the era. But I guess it's just like marmite, either love em or hate em. I look forward to seeing whether fantasy costumes will be done again for the dw8 newbies and Xu shu |

Yeah, the original costumes this time around are kinda...meh. I don't know if they're just not that impressive, lack originality, or the luster has just worn off from DW7, but it just isn't doing it for me this time around. |

For me personally it seems that they didn't put loads of effort and thought into these costumes which is a shame. The ideas have become a bit dry, but then again I guess they're appealing to the JPN fanbase rather than us so I can't complain. |

Ahaha that would be hilarious! I think guan Yu would be best suited since its just so unlike him. Would be the biggest lol in DW history if that were to happen. |

I think they're actually not that bad. Nice details on them too. But if there was like a pack with performer/ rocker outfits for these characters then I'd fall in love with em straight away Sadly not

Strange as from what ive seen so far im actually thinking these are far superior to the original costumes we got in DW7 which by and large were mostly suits and not overly heavy on smaller details. I like what theyve released so far and cant wait to see what theyve done with shu as well... not convinced ill invest in them like i did last time because well, they dont really add much but i think if i do i will be happier with what ive spent my money on than last time round. Fantasy Costumes in DW7 were far superior to originals... perhaps a second wave of outfits will be more to your liking. Was there not also talk of them wanting to release DW6 outfits as DLC, weve not heard anything else on the matter since. As for Kahi and the pink power ranger - money says it will be poor old Huang Zhong

Zhao Yun If you see them as a Five-Men Band, they would be:The Hero - Guan Yu The Lancer - Zhang Fei The Big Guy - Ma Chao The Smart Guy - Huang Zhong The Chick - Zhao Yun With Wei Yan if you like a The Sixth Ranger I wonder how the Five Tiger Generals of Wei would be...

The only thing that annoys me with the release of DLC costumes is the pure fact we would have paid for them in DW7 and then would have to pay for them again in DW8. Would be nice that if you bought them in DW7, you were able o download them for free for a second time. Doubt they'd think of anything like that. |

That would be awesome. Maybe, those who even have DW7's save data will have access to stuffs like extra costumes and such. That would motivate people to actually by the games, I think. But yeah, Koei needs more $$$. So they won't do such an amazing thing.

They seem to get progressively better but not by much. It'll probably be Others is when we go "oh cool". I can already tell they really thought hard about Shu's costumes compared to the other two kingdoms. When I heard modern costumes I thought they were going to design each character based on how they would translate into the modern world and I'm sorry, Zhou Yu and Lu Su would NOT be service men I could guarantee that. (Not that they don't look classy as ****.) They were both rich mother ****ers. Hell put a pink suit on Lu Su and give Xiaoqiao a 20s bob cut and we will Gatsby-fy this joint. Makes more sense than Downton Abbey the Wu strategists. Edited by Lil'Richard, Sun May 12, 2013 3:47 pm.
