Tbh they could give Suo the grieves and make the nunchucks CAW EX exclusive in 8:Empires who knows. I'm fine with a bunch of weapons being left without owners similar to the DLC weapons in 7. Everyone has 3 stars with the sword anyway so yeah. |

Is not it too harsh with nunchacks? considering it`s definately unique weapon. I`m okay with dao left out, but nunchacks... it`s too much already. They may give it to new character, maybe even female.

Cut out having a character tied to the weapon at all? Personally, I'd really hate that. Sure, it'd keep a moveset I liked in the game, and they could make up some character stuff to have a musou and ex in empires...but I don't even play empires really. Guess it's cool, making your own character and going through things like that, but I like dw for the characters themselves, AND the weapons they use. There's hardly any uniqueness left to the game at all, without this step. Still say they need to lock one weapon to each character, and for the weapon switch just have side weapons to choose from the more basic weapons. -.- Least that way everyone could have a weapon designed with them again and people who like weapon switch could keep that system as well.

Maybe they could renew the nunchaku movesets and give it to a new character, just like what KOEI do to the flail for Gan Ning |

As much people support Guan Suo for that new dlc weapon, sorry, I'm not on the same boat. I think Guan Suo with Nunchuck is already a badass warrior. I think the new weapon might fight for someone who can do really well. Possible new character like Xun Yu, Zhu Ran, Liao Hua or Gao Shun. (Kidding about him) |

Kidding about which one? None of them really come off as hand to hand combat characters to me, although I guess Zhu Ran would be the closest in my mind. |

Joking about Gao Shun and Liao Hua. I was choosing either Zhu Ran or Xun Yu (if he's like around Guo Jia's age and if not, then Zhu Ran) |

new martial art warrior? am someone like Jiang Qin or Wang Ping. That first who come into head. Yu Jin could have something like polearm or trident. Zhu Ran should have some sort of sword|rapier like those flame one. Xu Sheng something that shots, and Cheng Pu just should have something. |

well if i have to guess when will the Leg Gauntlets (or whatever you call them) and the Emei Daggers will be released, probably they will come either the first-third week of June (but my guess would be: the Leg Gauntlets on the second week of June and the Emei daggers on the third week of June, likely the same case they've revealed Flaming Sword and the Screw Crossbow) |

Poor babby zzgoo gonna wet himself over crappy Guan Suo. First that punk Suo steals and defiles the nunchaku, but that's not enough? He has to be given new weapons for....what?? Because he kicks a lot? Nunchaku already had a kick move, that's good enough for such a loser character!

Oh my dat Shu wallpaper is so fabulous, Sanniang looks hot, and Yinping looks more mature and pretty there. I approve it. ![]() And regarding the grieves, that weapon could go for Guan Suo for obvious reason.

I understand what you're saying, since his moveset is nunchuck while his musou does kicks or supporting KansakUMA (any choice is cool), but keeping him with Nunchuck is fine. Since he's already unique, I guess there is no point then to switch him with new weapon.

Just because they aren't easy to use, doesn't mean they are crappy. Its actually nice to have a weapon that requires more thought and trial/error to make it effective. A lot of people enjoy it, my self included. Really you shouldn't call it crappy, or useless, just because you dont enjoy using it. |

@daosiying: isnt the more right word would be GREAVES cause grieves is more like a verb for grief. Anyway i wont get overreacted with this. Who knows it might be something completely different.. I mean the literal translation is FLYING KICK ARMOR, it can easily becomes an armor that gives a flying kick..or maybe a an armored feet that flies. I mean look at screw crossbow..Not what i had in mind(possibly you guys too)..lets just wait till the reveals..( With me still hoping it has picture of Suo using greaves) |

that you personally dislike it? Wanting something taken out of the game just because you dont like it is a rather selfish thing to do. You need to take other peoples opinions into consideration when you say something like that. If you dislike it, that's fine, your allowed too. But just because you dislike it, doesn't mean that automatically means everyone agrees with you, and that it should be removed. your free to dislike something, its your own opinion, and your entitled too it. But going around saying it should be removed only because of said opinion is rude. |

...I don't need to take anyone else's opinions into consideration when it comes to my fun. Me and every Warriors player out there aren't tied to the hip. I can say I don't want something in the game....will it happen? Probably not...but I can still say it however many times I want cause that's what I want. Would that make me stupid and ignorant and probably hopping on some "less is more" bandwagon mentality that got derailed a long time ago because somehow wanting more became obnoxious? Yes...totally. But I can still say it.... ![]() Anyway....I know you're not directing anything to me specifically (cause I just butted in without any real context....naturally, that's what I do...). So I'll just add...I don't really want any weapons cut, but I also don't want weapons without owners....for reasons I have said before, which are selfish reason (sue me!) but, it involves keeping the weapons in the game so..I suppose you're all for that anyway. So...yeah.... Did I properly insult everyone in both camps just now? ![]() (sorry.... )

Guy prattles on about other guys opinions. .............. There is something deeply ironic about this. So! How about those eimi piercers! I wonder if they will end up comically oversized like how some of these weapons are. |

Those emei piercers... Why do I feel they are going to give them to Yuanji? I mean... I guess it could work. And since she is "cloned" (I don't feel like she is), it would solve that problem. |

I foresee a lot of twirling and stabbing with those emei piercers (is piercer even a word?). but honestly, not all that interested in them... more interested in whatever those kicking weapons are and how they'll play...cause it'll be fun to see how ridiculous those weapons could look on some of the cast |

What about giving the greaves to Guan Suo, and taking this opportunity to change the complete nunchaku moveset for a new character? I can already imagine a few gimmicks for the moveset, such as moving the joystick from one side to another to increase the number of hits done. Some people already said that the 36 DW7 movesets was quite bad compared to others. This could be a nice opportunity to change a few of them. |

Hey dude, why do you think its outdated? I think they problem personally is with many is that it doesnt have gimmics attached... Short Halberd can be charged, Lightning sword can slow time, Half Moon Blade can extend attacks if you nail the timed window right with its charges etc. Problem is they those kinds of weapons are far outnumbered by the older weapons at least at this moment in time... even some of the DW7 DLC weapons were not all that fancy such as the Dagger Axe or Bombs. Ive said before i really like the more realistic grounded weapons... maybe im just nostalgic but like you i adore the Dao moveset, i still find it fun if a little over used after so many characters were lumbered with it though thats Koeis fault not the moveset. Im just asking because many say weapons like that and the pike are out of date yet dont say the same about say the Halberd which doesnt offer any gimmics of its own either - is this all perhaps peoples personal preferences and what not? |

Well the first bit I can use to refute your point is that the dagger axe and bombs do have a gimmick and they still stand out over weapons from DW7. The former is focused extensively on grapples while the latter is very much a placement type weapon that encourages reposition. You should use the Wolf Fang Cudgel if you want to illustrate a point as that's a weapon with no outstanding gimmick but is far more practical than most of the other DW7 weapons because it has a solid pool of attacks. The problem with the dao is that it was thrown onto 5 characters and features an extensively generic move set. In fact the only interesting thing about it is the C2 has an aerial followup. The C1 is a wasted move like most from 7, while everything else is plain and uninteresting and shows neither character (Except the C5) nor style. Can't even argue that it's a grounded weapon when the only attacks it possesses that would be decent or plausible in reality is it's C1 and C3. The C2 would be easy to counter while the C5 is just fantastical as it's C6. The variable attack is also absolute garbage. As for the other weapons you describe, the halberd is equally generic despite being built off the DW6 moveset which at least had some character to it. It's a far more decent weapon now here in 8 because of a modification to its C6. And it still possesses the variable attack that launches downed enemies back into the air. It's also not a pike. Regarding the crescent halberd, that's a combination of having generally useful moves and the fact it's still very clearly a Lu Bu move set. It doesn't reek of uninteresting because it features typical Lu Bu traits such as one handed use. However it's all a moot point as many weapons from DW7 are lousy in 8 because of unnecessary nerfs that harm them more than anything. |
