Thanks for correction dude. Found a video of the first scenario and it's pretty much that Lingqi married Yuan Shu's son, Yuan Yao and he arrives and stops the water attack and Lu Bu's forces are victorious at Xiapi. Video at Nicovideo You need a nico account or this would do if you don't have one. |

The first two sound really interesting! Just so long as they stay true to the previous format of giving you both forces to play as. If you're pigeonholed into playing one side (especially with the Dong Zhuo stage) it's going to be VERY disappointing. |

I think it's actually one side only. With DW8 DLC, we had one map with three battles in each. Here, it seems to be three map, with one battle each. |

Oh three different battles per "pack"? Oh yuck. Such a shame! Hopefully the side we do get is really nice, or something. |

Does anyone else notice the old costume pack 5 (dw3) is missing from psn? Should we let someone know? |

Some DLC were missing on French store, but available in the rest of Europe. I said it to Chin and he got this fixed. Maybe you should do the same. Send an email to support@tecmokoei.co.uk |

Did you try checking the DLC in the game? Sometimes it doesn't show up on psn but if you go to the in game store it does. |

Yeah never mind the greatly reduced user base by it being DLC for expansion only but you also knock out any potential buyers from the xbox 360 market as well too - strange call if you ask me but i guess they know what they are doing... expansion exclusive DLC aint the newest of things for them so i guess they feel theyve made enough in the past from dlc for the likes of the Empires titles and what have you. |

The reason the fight against Dong Zhuo is only one side is because it's just virtually his second XL stage where he had the martial arts tourney and the coalition interprets it. I'm actually worried for when we get it state-side and when they actually translate the new dialogue or just reuse it from the base game. Probably a reason is some of the stages are the ones are exclusive to XL like the Xiapi one with Lingqi. |

It's been a while since i posted here, I got the last of the stage DLC this week and my thoughts are as followed Yangping Gate: this was the best version of Yangping Gate and playing it again brought back memories of DW5 the Wei side was pretty much just like it was back in DW5 while Zhang Lu's side was probably one of the best opposing sides out of all the DLC stages since it actually took longer than 5 minutes to complete, the Animal Battle was horribly poor compared to Bowangpo and Yu Province which actually took 20 minutes to complete at least, this was a good stage with a rather lackluster Animal Battle. Liang Province: the normal fights on both sides were both meh it wasn't quite all that fun, the animal battle was much better than Yangping's and is the 3rd best out of them all. Hanshui: what can i say this was very Anti Climatic the Shu Side was average, the Wei side was OK and the Animal battle was boring at best overall the DLC stages started really good with Bowangpo and Yu Province and made a steady decline downhill before finishing poorly that's my thoughts on the final 3 DLC stages, after a lengthy wait of 2 months, now I'm looking forward to the XL DLC stages once the game is out over here and they start releasing the DLC. Still waiting on the DW3 Hefei Castle to return |

I agree. The later ones also suffer from that horrible awful allied AI and you have hardly any allied troops so everybody dies and can't be kept alive problem the last DW7 DLCs had. It's really disappointing since I was SO looking forward to Yangping Gate, too. That and Shu Hanshui was absolutely horrible. Although the Wei version was shockingly sort of decent. |

I don't know why Liang province was even a DLC stage. Most of the DLCs were just filling in for some of the battles that were missing....but that stage is already in the Wu story. It is hands down the weakest of the stages too. All 3 sides of it are pretty unexciting. Should have been something like Xiakou from DW4 or DW5 or something random instead... |

I agree on Liang, they could of given us something like The Ten Eunuchs, Ou Xing's Rebellion, Xiakou as Necrosis said, heck something like Xin Castle or Jia Meng Gate would of sufficed |

I miss Xiakou, that was always a fun battle and helped highlight Ling Tong and Gan Ning, and would give a transition into Sun Quan's rule after Ce bites it. I don't know why they ever removed it... |

Next week we have all the XL DLC stages and BGMs re-released for the PS4. And the week after that, we get: A new Ambition Mode base skin (or decoration, I dunno) "Sworn Brothers". It features a big-ass statue of the three oath brothers doing their weapon-touch thing. "Entrance into Shu Cooperation Battle", basically the battle where Liu Bei takes over Chengdu with Fa Zheng's betrayal of Liu Zhang written in. "Famous Generals Faceoff Battle", where the Five Tiger Generals of Shu fight the Five Generals of Wei. "Rebellion Army Suppression Battle", where Liu Bei leads his troops against rebel troops at Changshan. And a whole bunch of BGMs released and re-released for the PS4. EDIT: Sorry! The re-release of XL content for the PS4 is scheduled for Feb. 22nd. The new stages and stuff will come on Feb. 27. Edited by ReinaBlaka, Thu Feb 20, 2014 1:14 pm.

Just fixed your post ![]() Anyway, I'm not sure about that but, Fa Zheng's DLC stage seems historical Battle between the Shu and Wei five is fictionnal. I don't know about the last one. Is there one historical battle in every XL DLC stages so far ? Edited by garnix, Thu Feb 20, 2014 1:07 pm.

The blog has been updated so here so here are some of the details. Just gathering from what I can about the generals participating in the first one, it seems to be a Wu army lead by Lu Xun and Zhu Ran( they're the commanders) against a combined Wei/Nanman army but I could be wrong. The second one is Wei vs Shu where I wonder if the allied commander has the wrong characters cause it said it was Cao Hong leading the army against Liu Bei but Cao Cao would make more sense. The third is Yuan Shu's army vs the allied army. Though the allied commanders were Ling Tong, Gan Ning and Zhu Ran while the allied commanders are Yuan Shu's warriors, not Yuan Shu himself. |

I think and hope that Yuan Shu has a chance now, TBH I was worried when I heard it was going to be Shu battles but the scenarios posted now seem quite good. I wonder if they will even add Yuan Yao at some point to since if I remember he could go on to serve Wu later on. Only problem is though Koei are not keen to extend on families unless it has "Guan" in it. So hopefully they add more Cao's, Yuan's etc some point but after generals. Oddly enough these scenarios are actually tempting me to get them now since I'm more into Others characters and their scenarios. I think only problem is Koei is not as much. Sorry to go off-topic but maybe Warlords may be popular as warriors same day, Yuan Shu being an example. I hope Ma Teng and Liu Biao also make it some point. |
