Here's the new BGM for Moushouden, The Sword of a Flower:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-t7zqFIaow

I also agree with Sera and whoever else said next time's BGM, Courageous Advance, has a greatness to it, I think it sounds really unique and at the top of the series standard. That snippet build up sounds amazing.

Also I must say I'm really liking the character statue decorations idea they're doing.

Thanks for the upload, really looking forward to next week just for that BGM alone lol. Hopefully they give us our weapons soon for the Ps4 version, we've only gotten the bgm packs thus far. They said they were going to slowly re-release the dlc for the ps4, hopefully the costumes are included I really want to see those physics at work on Ma Chao's DW5 helmet.

I'm ready to serve you all

The site has been updated, and the content is not too different with the previous update (stages, BGMs, and statue). Well with the exception of DW6 costumes for ps4.

So one of the stages is another version of Shu young generation vs the older one except I believe you're taking the side of the young people. The next one is a Xiahou either being lead by Xiahou Ba against the Sima family (why couldn't of this been on of the Jin If stages) and the last one is young strategists vs old strategists?

They're really using the young vs motif for next week.

Thanks for the info you two.

I must say they are really hitting a stride with the BGM DLC, the recent two seem to have a bit of an older feel to them, especially the beginning of each of them, they are intense for lack of a better term.

Is it weird that I'm giddy about them finally releasing the costumes? I just can't wait to see how they turn out on the Ps4, this also means the weapons are on their way too.

I can't understand why it takes so much times compared to DLC release on PSVita.
When DW8XL came on Vita, every weeks they added some old DLC to Vita. But in huge pack. One pack will all the BGM, one pack will all costume, one pack will all weapons.

And now for PS4, they are releasing one little thing every two weeks ?
They could have release all the costumes next week, not only those from DW6. They had time to work on it since Asian PS4 release in December :/

I wanted to play new XL stages using DLC weapons with the European release. But I'll probably have completed the game a few weeks before they rerelease them ...

You ever try upscaling low resolution objects to something that renders in 1080p?

Cause it looks like ****. Gotta spend some time to make it not look like ****. And we're talking about 5 costume sets here with a a minimum of 39 people. It's a lot of work.

I never did it. But I know it's a pain yeah.
And I guess it's the same for the DLC stages (which are all DLC only maps in DW8 which means they have to upscale all DLC maps) and weapons (because they have to make the animation look smoother I guess)

But they still had a lot of time to make them. :/
I mean...when they made DW8 DLC, they were probably already working on PS4 version...

So they should have all this ready by now in my opinion...

Well, I'm just complaining because I bought DLC on PS3 and willl probably not be able to enjoy them on PS4 for a few months, which is quite frustrating.
And I think it's the same reason why you still play on PS3, right ? ^^

Actually being able to choose your side in next week's second stage is nice. But obviously Sima should win. :)

The Musou Blog has updated again. The first stage is like everyone said, just another version of Wancheng but in this one Cao Cao has to reach an escape point instead of defeating Zhang Xiu.

What baffles about the second is who fights on Lu Lingqi's side to get red hare back. Xu Chu, Wenji, Jia Xu and Wang Yi. Nothing wrong with except they're fighting for the faction that killed her father against the Shu and Wu guys.

What I'm confused about is who Guo Huai is fighting with and against. Zhang Jue and Fa Zheng are helping him but Sima Zhao and Sima Shi are trying to kill him along with some Wu people and the Others men outside the Nanman and Chen Gong.

Also its not totally finished since there are the wei reinforcements on the first one but it isn't filled out.

Are all get her 6. weapon in the New Story battles? How much better is it to have 3 with me fight Generals to have as only one as Bodyguard? In DW8 the one not ever followed me right, many walk against wall and such things.

That's halfway right since Shu was who convinced Cao Cao to kill Lu Bu, and...according to that Lu Bu ending, apparently Cao Cao let her go.

Nonetheless, Lu Lingqi is still enemies with Wei AND Shu, and I'd like to see how that plays out in this battle.

Plus Lu Lingqi AND Wang Yi together? :OMG: KOEI is just giving out trouble. Aren't they?

The second and third ones are just random, and don't have any historical context or justification. It's just what they came up with to put out. Lu Lingqi is a fictional character after all, so everything she does is made up anyway. Guan Yu isn't even in the fight, and he was the only Shu member who had any ties with it.

What would have made a lot more sense would be if Lu Lingqi was attacking Cao Cao to get Red hare back, as Cao Cao gained possession of Red Hare after Lu Bu died, and used it as part of the bribes he gave Guan Yu to stay with him. You could have had the optional task of freeing Guan Yu from Cao Cao's house arrest, and having him help you. Or even having Guan Yu already a part of Cao Cao's (Guan Yu in blue O:) forces and he's who you take Red Hare from as the main enemy of the stage.

Same with the third one really. "Guo Huai is tired, so kill enemies to cheer him up" isn't really any sort of realistic setup. Again, they just threw together random enemies. Probably enemies that haven't been in much DLC yet.

For me, just how long as it follows a theme or so I would done with it. The stage that was released about the rebel sweeping has you trying to stop guys who defected in history so that made some sense.

Sure, I know it's for the most part nonsensical but consistency is something I hold even though honestly it's kind of a fault.

I didn't test the new DLC stages.

So, is there added cutscene or something like that ?

I read : Wan Castle with Xiahou Dun but ... what are the changes ?
Same words for all others DMC stages.

No, there are no cutscenes.
Wan Castle is from Dun/Jin/etc. perspective, from outside the castle, instead of Dian Wei's point of view.

You should read Paragon's recent posts, where he explained all DLC stages so far. (you may have to go a few pages back though)

No you have not.
If you paid for them on PS3, you will have them for free on PS4. But you have to connect with the same PSN account.

However, some DLC are not out on PS4 yet, since they probably have to revamp all of them to fit the "new engine".

DLC battles without videoscenes are so dull, only hear the characters talk is not much. Same it was in the DW7 and XL Modus, where no scenes was.

Cut scenes are a big bonus to a stage to clench it's uniqueness. But DLC levels with no cut scenes is no surprise given the companies trend of it.

By the way to all, here's the latest music ''Courageous Advance'' DLC, it sounds brilliant, and next week's sounds great too.

Quick question for the people here with the PS4 version. Did you need to do the data transfer from DW8 for PS3 to DW8 for PS4 to get your DLC to work on the PS4 version? Or was it recognized without it, due to having the same PSN or whatever?
I sold my DW8 for PS3 a while ago in preparation for the PS4 version. Does this mean I lost out on my DLC?

I think that if you bought the DW8 DLC using your PSN account.........and you use that same PSN account to access the same DLC for the PS4/Vita vesrion........you will download it for free.

So yeah..........the latter.
