Hype levels are to the max... I just think they are dropping 1 bomb at a time. This weeks bomb being a cluster of what ifs and other story mode.

I think DLC are not huge enough to be consider as a bomb.
I'm quite sure they will upload the DLC page tomorrow.
But this one will not feature much things. I'm just expecting some old costumes for the first week.

For DW7, they gave the Dagger Axe on the release week, but I think it won't be similar. They will let people experiment their 77 new weapons (and especially the 22 new ones), and then release the real bombing in March/April.

That's right. I wouldn't be surprise that on the main post will be like five pages of on topic. :)

Can't wait to see the dlc weapons, and of course the costume.

matter of perspective I suppose. It's a bomb to me, because I'm actually anticipating the dlc aspects. So every lil bit of information I recieve on it, is a major plus. Some may not view it in that light, and I can respect that. Opinions are opinions though.

Sure DLC can be awesome.
However, I think it's not as massive as the full game, right ?
And I believe everybody will agree with this.

I can agree it's not as massive as the game. But of course it isn't, dlc is just to add on to the game. Thats a given... But I'm sure some would rationalize that, each week has had methodical planning to what they feel ready to show. They aren't done talking about the game itself, so we are only getting tidbits of infos on dlc here and there.

The DLC is massive to me lol maybe not as much as the main game, but I like seeing what they have in store you know? You never know what koei will come up with as DLC and that exciting just itself...... or reaaaaaally stupid

Don't take me wrong, I'll look on the DLC page every week with excitement !
But I don't consider DLC as a bomb. Because, for example, old costumes are a dissapointment to me. I already paid them in DW7 & WO3, and I'll have to pay again here.

However if they can bring me some interesting new things to enjoy in game, then I'm all in.
New stages (not old one which I already paid for in DW7, some old ones are missing though)
New weapons
etc.

Oh, heckkkkkkk no, you didn't just say that. *Grab the ironfan and smack ya your head* :hehe:

Seriously, though, most of the dlc weapons will be awesome and I don't think there isn't any stupid weapon. Beside, not one mistake isn't stupid so far and the word stupid isn't in my gamer dictionary. :P

Still on the Twin Fans boat. Ugh. I wanna see Mortal Beauty in HD looking like a real fan instead of construction paper in DW4 )': Like WO2 fans. I think we should get a samurai weapon pack too. Like Oichi's kendama (SW1-2) or Kunoichi's blades.

Its a shame that there was no news on any DLC today, but of course as some of you have stated there is the site update tomorrow which could bring some information.

If there were to announce DLC even before release, I think the smartest way for them to go would either be weapons/costumes. Stages wouldnt be needed so close to the release because everyone would still have many stages to play through and complete before even considering new ones.

It's fine though since we are running out of energy for hyping up on this week batch and this week videos. So the best way is to chill for a week and get hype up again.

DLC Wise, I don't care which comes first, as long all of them have a fair share for announcement.

So the game comes out next Thursday, we could expect a site update on the release day with some news possibly on day one DLC. But, we just have to wait and see.

I dont mind what comes first because I wont be able to buy it anyways, I just think its more logical to have the stages come last when compared to that of costumes and weapons.

For DW7, DLC were revealed one week before release I think, at the same time as the last 6 returning characters.
So I guess it could be the same this week.
We will know tomorrow.

Yeah thats true, I keep forgetting we dont get all the information on the leak from the magazine, we also get information from the website update. Weve just got to get our fingers crossed, I mostly want to see what sort of DLC they will use to support the game apart from costumes and weapons. Then we have an idea of what to expect and can base out ideas around it.

I think the shosei dlc will be major. Or at least for me. That's another form of dlc I'll be looking forward to from this game aside from the obvious. I hope they spice up the dlc stages this go.

Oh tell me about it, the DLC stages in DW7 were so boring and fast, they were in no way worth buying at all. Most of them were previous stages or really small ones with the same objective which was awful.

Id rather Koei take their time with DLC to think things through and make them the best they can be.

Actually, I'm thinking we may get an idea of what's coming for DLC when the site updates tonight/tomorrow morning.

@Sun Bai Hu by stupid I mean like those silly weapon skins they did for some weapons...like Wang Yi's Sais being made into candle holders, lol thats sumb in my opinion...no offense to anyone who likes them lol. There is no such thing as stupid weapon dlc lol

@Garnix I agree with you about them using the same costumes over and over, I wouldn't be excited for that either

@Averryy agreed... Koei needs to take a calculated approach to dlc. Don't rush things, just let the ideas come freely. Sounds like we have a lot on our plate, and I'm sure no one minds waiting for awesome dlc instead of half assed dlc.

@LLSmooth J, I hope you're right brother.. Would love to get an ambush of info we weren't expecting.

@Lu Tzu Yep I agree the joke weapons need to vanish... I think if we are going to be purchasing skins, we need the badassery served firsthand. And repurchasing DLC costumes? Meh, I'm a lil indifferent at the moment. I agree its a bit petty, but I'll reserve judgements once all the dlc is announced with the prices and all. I hope they just go the route of bringing in some of the unused concept art, rotk, kessen, and other crossover costumes. I say if they are going to bring back the older costumes.. They need to revamp them, and change them in ways that make them worthy of being repurchase... So that technically, we aren't buying the same thing. Time will tell...

Oh annnnnnnnndddddd......PS4 ANNOUNCED!!!!!

I think Koei could learn a lot about DLC from the community, just look at Daqiao's twin canes, they were what the community wanted. Our ideas went to JPN and they answered with DLC.

If Koei took this approach further they could make the best DLC ever, just because its what the fans want and would be more willing to buy.

Yeah... I hope they actually have a team that scours the net looking at random forums. I know they'd look here if they did... How far they dig? Thats a different story.

But really it would be the best way to market wouldnt it if you think about it, the best way to make the most sales and more importantly money is by making something people want to buy.

People will buy more if its what the want and know will be good!

I agree... I think the best thing to do though is search for the best ideas and make a poll based on the best choices. If they are able to produce results from character polls, I think it should work well with other features, modes, and dlc as well.

I doubt theyd do any of that anyways, but I think it would be a good idea and the best way for them to make big sales and money.

Im hoping for big stages that last fore more then 5 minutes, possibly with some different types of objectives instead of kill the enemy commander. Those objectives get boring after a while...
