If you are asking about the rare/gold materials, I don't think they are predefined for each stages. I have played on the same stages many times and they gave different amount each time. But playing on 8 star difficulty have a higher chance of getting them.

You do NOT need to be doing stages on 8-Star in order to farm Gold materials at a reasonable pace. My tactic would be to do 7-Star Stages on Easy while also grinding out Shotdown counts, if you're not going for Platinum Trophy ASAP. Doable even with raw suits and pilots, so long as the Stage doesn't have MAs in it.

ok. My mistake there. I have only been farming for S rank plans and is constantly on 8 star stages. While doing that, the material I get is at a higher rate than at their default difficulty.

Perfectly understandable. The only reason I even know that gold mats can drop from 7-Stars is because I was sick of having to do 8-Star's so often.

I think 6-Stars have a reasonable drop rate, too. In fact, even 1-Stars can occasionally drop one or two gold mats. It really depends on what ratio-time spent you're comfortable with. Me, I like S-Rank Plans, but when it comes down to testing time, I need those gold mats more, and I can get them faster at 7-Star.

8 star stage. I think 7 star hard doesn't give any s rank plan.

Oh I see about making a good plan I am also quite blur... they say need 1 shot 2 Def 2 fight and so on to max a plan but does it need the stats to be in one plan or what? Kind of confusing....

A plan is made up of 5 parts, namely the Body, right and left arm, right and left leg. Each part can have up to 2 type of base stats, so for a plan there can be up to 10 stats upgrade slot.
For instance, you have posted a photo of Inf.Justice you are working on, it is a 1 Fight, 1 shot, 3 Defense, 2 Armor, 2 Mobility and 1 Thruster plan.
So basically, they need to be in the same plan.

So I suppose under one plan with all the stats but position doesn't matter right as ling as I have all the stats.. and what I am short of example one armor what must I do? Sry i am kind of confusing at the upgrading part...
