Just cleared Ultimate mode and am now trying new units I tried Musha Gundam 1st and can say its moves have been buffed in speed and some new moves to replace its old bad moves. Also for anyone like myslef that hated the fact that in GW3 Musha MK1 had a big explosion attack as its AI only SP attack can now injoy using this very move, its now mushas charged SP attack or SP attack 2 as its called in game. Gotta say the last two mission were exactly as i expect lol, all aces have that purple energy buff on their suits head and seem to take forever to kill, however with Quin mantha you can do the pin them in the corner and beat them til they dead trick XD. |

Ah Quin Mantha, my fav MA in the game, and for good reasons to lol. Well 1st ill say Quin S string is pretty good, it can be used to pin suits in a corner, though not quite as good as big zams T then boost spam pin xD. Quins S string is basicly a faster better version of the AI MA quins beam saber slash combo with a mega cannon sweep in a wedge shape in front of the suit, great range to and unlike its AI counterpart, the beam will hit the enemys at very end of it lol. Quin T can be both good and bad, it basicly fires multiple small homing beams from its chest above that take a sec to land, good news is there dmg stacks per hit so the attack can be more dangerous to enemys in the right spot than your sp attack. Quins SP attack is its funnel net move where it opens up and funnels fire all around it, they dont deal a ton of dmg, but against enemy MAs that have I-fields they can shatter there limbs faster than normal attacks. The Burst Mode for Quin like all MAs except Destroy give the player a I-field for the entire time its on, this is VERY nice in hard mission where grunts are constantly spamming you with beam shots as this nulls all them lol. Sadly quin does suffer in 1 place and thats it Burst mode, unlike the other MAs burst modes, quin does NOT attack faster in anyway, making its burst mode only needed for higher dmg and the I-field. Finaly, Since Quin is the smallest of the MAs ingame and its S string is perfect for its size, its a great OP Ace pin option. To use its Pin, Push the ace into a wall thats a corner or flat where quin can juggle the enemy, after the 3rd slash is performed, you can either finish it with the beam or if you want more dmg use the T while the enemys in the air then follow up with the boost dash attack so when they land they get hit soon after. Recycle and Repeat till they are dead, you can also throw in some SP attacks when needed. Id give quin a nice 8/10, would give 9 but quins burst mode doesnt make it attack faster and its SP attack doesnt deal enough dmg per hit. Edit: For those who wounder how the pin works, since MA cant be moved by attacks or pushing them by MS, then pin basicly is like a wall they cant get by. Pin also good for MA since they can cancel enemys SP attacks while there using them and their Burst mode. Please note that this pin does NOT work on enemy MAs since they can push you but you cant push them....makes them almost as annoying as a big zam in space trying to protect white base with tons of enemy grunts hiding under the warship XD. EDIT 2: Big change on http://ggame.jp/musou_movie.php , there was 8 videos with coming soon, and they now have been removed, maybe this is a hint of how many DLC suits we will get, that would mean the 5 we know of plus 3 others maybe :D, lets hope so! That better be the case, because the DLC that's been suggested thus far is okay at best and insulting at worst. At least eight DLC units would suggest that there's a chance Devil Gundam and Gundam Spiegel could arrive in time for the 20th Anniversary of G. Or Bandai and Koei could f*ck that up too

Seems a bit pointless for them to release a video of Wing Zero Custom when it's already out though.. So could be 4 extra or just nothing, would be sweet to see so more SD units get added in since there was no new one this time around |

There's no reason for the Methuss. She's fine in a Rick Dias. The only way they can even make the Methuss work is if the moveset is just the unit exploding for every move. |

It is possible those videos where just mistakes, but idk i dont by it. Besides that this game has a very different feel to it, almost like its just a "Test" for something or possibly just part 1 of a 2 part game(Ya i do mean like Xtream Legends). Anyway i do hope those where possible DLC videos but like Zeik said, be pointless now to make a video on WZC, but then again maybe not, this is koei after all lol. With Ultimate mode finished and only 2 storys left in official mode, i can say the games pretty short, though the missions were very flushed out giving each stage a story intro. Id say this game isnt the last of Shin Gundam Musou, i expect to see a Shin Gundam Musou XL within a year or a year and a half. Now its time to start collecting all those cards lol. I feel like even after all the missions are completed, this game is going to last me a long time just having fun with all the different suits and stages. I really enjoy using WZC in the sky stages and being able to increase the difficulty on all of them is going to provide plenty of challenge |

Yes, you can re-play the final battle on easy with 1 star and toy around with the 3 musous like they were toys XD. So ya anystage in ultimate mode, idk about official. |

I can't say the same. The maps are more boring than Gundam Musou 3 to me, and that game at least had the sweet base system while this has nothing but generic maps that are tiny in scale even if they're open. Also don't like what they did to the gravity as emergency dashing a boost combo barely does any help for someone who needs to go from air to ground strings. A boost string at the same time really doesn't need to go from 3 to 5/6 hits. Feels unnecessary and just encourages button mashing to me. Not at all helped by the fact more moves causes your boost dash attack to take you into the air now compared to before. Don't dig the burst mode either. Especially that obnoxiously loud and bright explosion. Losing the assist for a crappy One Piece style jump in and use a SP thing doesn't do it for me either. No real tactical application. I do however very much like the charge shot. Saving grace on some suits and just corrects some wrongs like having both Zeros carry buster rifles but their shot attack is just machine cannons. Surprised that EW Zero doesn't include the machine cannons in more attacks. Was expecting something to make it's guns more useful. |

I like Koei's WZC more than the one in EXVS, I know Koei's been borrowing elements from the VS series, but I'd love for wish Bamco to slap some of those melee moves on WZC in the future VS games |

The funny part is that WZC was more melee focused in NEXT. But for EXVS they mixed it up with TV Zero so it's more shot based and now that TV Zero's back, it's got slightly more emphasis on melee. Back and forth. |

Just bought the game last night Somehow, I feel that this game is so different from any Musou games. I don't how to express this, but it didn't feel so Musou like previous DWG or DW/SW BTW, is there an option to stop the vibration on my controller everytime I'm attacking? Kinda confused whether I'm hitting something or I'm the one who get hit, especially in crowds

I'm sure there's an option for that, try the controller menu an there'll be an option to turn that on & off. You'll know where it is when the controller vibrate

Not just you. This game lacks a certain polish that Omega Force developed titles have. Though it's nowhere near as off and bad as Shin Hokuto Musou. And now I know why Emergency Dash cancelling sucks in this game. They made it like One Piece. Dashing out of a normal doesn't stop the chain, it just delays the next input. That's why when you Emergency Dash out of a normal, you still hang in the air. So that's 3 things they lifted from the One Piece game.. Shame too since I love Emergency Dash when it was introduced in 3 because it made it possible to combo someone from the air without having to repeat the dash string over and over. |

I really like how much faster things seem to be now. Really working forward to this even if I'm disappointed with missing mecha/characters for some series and the DLC plan that doesn't appeal to me as I hated the 00 Movie and don't want WZC Endless Waltz until TV is finished first. Anyway... In other unrelated mecha news, you guys see the Z3 Preview? It's on PSV/PS3. Though I don't see why it couldn't work on the PSP since much of the assets being used in this were on the PSP version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DbTGUNcMbM Char's Counterattack seems to be happening in this now for some reason even though Quattro, from Z1, said that he would never let CCA ever come to pass. Yet we see Amuro fighting Rezin. Which is odd unless they're new Universe versions and the Z1 Amuro and Quattro aren't in this for some reason. |
