SF was a lightning bruiser in 3. Max shot. high offense. lots of thruster and speed, and big powerful attacks. there is a reason why SF's license cost as much as Unicorn and 00Rs, whichw ere ridiculous;y OP as well for their transforms. |

Man Destroy and Strike Freedom seem sick, loving how Strike Freedom's C2 now has the Dante style shooting it does in the openings, it looks so much faster than before i wonder if that will be a trend or not |

Dat Gunkata and new Dragoons use is pretty amazing. Seems like they really going all out in upping the headlining unit's for the official mode series'. Strike gundam looks awesome as heck. nu Gundam looks respectable now. SF's revamping makes it more awesome than ever. wonder if theres gonna be any big changes with Zeta Gundam. |

I appreciate that explanation but I was referring to the actual motion the suit makes. I could be wrong though. I cannot watch the video til next week. Not kidding about the explanation, that is helpful; I never knew there were different types (can't think of better word) to combos or at least, not names for them. On another note, I really wanna see abyss in this, its probably one of my favorite seed destiny designs. |

SF in 3 wasn't as good as the broken Destiny. It really needed a moveset upgrade to showcase it being the strongest Gundam in Destiny series. Seems Koei agreed as what I've heard the moveset is a huge improvement already. |

really, it seems like every suit might be getting huge improvements. this SGM isn't quite liek the others. theres so much more going on. faster pace. bigger scale. Old movelists and systems wouldn't work as well here as well. But honestly, another good reason to why they giving it such a major overhaul is because there was still so much you can do with the unit But still, GM3 SF was a top 3 unit, excluding the special units (Mushas and Knight). between amazing offense, powerful as hell shot moves like C5, D-C, A-SP, and C-SP. insane SP gains. and arguably the best special equipment, Multi-Lock On which gave SP's a huge power boost if the the pilot was newtype (much better than kill 200 enemy requisites). it's C-SP dealt so much damage, at level 3 could easily 1 shot max difficulty bosses. then there's it's default pilot having the highest Shot stat (tied with amuro i think), and third highest overall offense in the game (behind Uso and kamille i believe). it was amazing. Again, excluding the special unit, the most expensive units, the really OP ones, were 00R, unicorn, and SF. this was for good reasons, and SF didn't even need a transformation. |

Eh. SF was only a top tier unit in DWG3, its moveset wasn't incredibly broken like the 00R or Destiny to be at the highest of top tier. The attack range on the Destiny's melee attacks was just plain ridiculous for how much damage it could dish out. Its charge animation was pretty easy to exploit as well. So I don't expect the Destiny to have huge improvements to its moveset as it was already extremely potent in DWG3. So it doesn't need a huge revamp like the SF where very few players could even use it decently compared to easy mode 00R and Destiny. Edited by SazukeEX, Fri Nov 1, 2013 2:17 am.

I wouldn't say any unit can. i would think only units that can showcase new mechanics really well. Like Big Zam: Showing of MA playability. SF: i would think that the main show off here was METEOR, a large, MA-esque burst transformation. either that or headlining unit showoffs, meaning we could get Nu and Zeta show offs. |

I'm thinking only new movesets will be shown off. Either completely new suits, or suits that have been revamped. I wonder how much of SF's old moveset was given to Freedom? Anyway, Robot Damashii just revealed a bunch of new suits getting released next year. Among them was Gundam Geminass 01. That might not mean anything for G-Unit to get a spot in this game, but I'd say it definitely increases the chances for it to show up in the VS series and maybe the next Musou after this. |

Well, excluding basic S-String stuff, which will likely still be different anyways, theres really only 2 moves old SF did that Freedom could also do. That charge 3 melee combo, and D-Charge rail guns. Cant do the rapid rifle barrages, since it only has 1 rifle, Baleena cannons would fire two beams, seperated and more spreaded apart, rather than Callidus beam cannon's centered, singular, larger beam. and freedom has no dragoons. I imagine Freedom will be more melee-y, and have more twisty cannon maneuvers. Actually, the game makers have totally shown great design in their game with this new SF moves. take notice how a lot of notable moves had much more focus on rifle gun play, and dragoons. two most notable weapon differences between Freedom and SF. by making SF more oriented in sweet rifle moves, and dragoon barrages, they have more, ahem, freedom with the smaller arsenal of the Freedom Gundam. Kinda wish the SF was totally overhauls to be all ranged. Go the Cherudim route and have it use the rifles in it's basic string, or something. I really hope the Freedom and Justice dont overlap too much with the upgrades. |

I sorta assumed it went without saying since everyone had been asking for it since DWG3 released. SF is one that doesn't get that, but realistically, the few melee moves SF uses were also used by Freedom. They could Have Freedom be a mix of range and melee, and have SF be pure shot. |

Nah. Strike freedom is too good with melee to be shot only. The unti has to be reeeaaally lame with close range to warrant all shots. |

I'm wondering who will pilot the Banshee if it gets a gameplay video... though maybe most likely it'll be Marida in her black suit. Speaking of which, as mentioned before, Unicorn's story is confirmed to be only ending halfway because they want to follow OVA story this time around. Since the air drop from Ep5 is confirmed, I wonder if they'll go until Ep5 or Ep6. But my hunch is that they'll only go until Ep5. Ep6 don't really have some major battles unless you modify the battlefield so that the units stay outside the warship. And with Angelo's Geara getting much attention to the point that it's getting one of the early gameplay vid spots, I think they might really cut it until Ep5 and then Rozen Zulu might end up being a DLC unit, maybe along with Banshee Norn >_> |

well, bad news is, I wont be able to get this game now. my ps3 jsut broke down, and im not bothering to buy a new one, when Ps4 release is so close. So unless SGM ends up getting ported to next gen, im missing out on whats likely to be the best GM game yet... possibly ever :(.
