Interesting choice seeing as Banshee isn't even on their website yet.
Rezin is confirmed, so that pretty much sures up that Sleggar, Hathaway, Kayra, Lalah, Johnny, Gyunei and Kycilia will be in the game in some form. |

those friends I mentioned previously who bought DWG 3 for the new Wing suits didn't like the move sets of some of the new Wing suits. So no, they can be just as critical about it.
To quote myself:
and you know what? I'm going to take this a step further now. No, Wing Zero EW doesn't have to be more Buster Rifle focused either. The two moves that would be seriously affected by this would be its C3 and its C5. Those can easily be replaced by: -A forward charging attack, where EW surrounds itself in its Wings and spins (much like Kshatriya's Charge attack) -A move much like Double X where it uses it Vulcans/Machine Cannons to lift targets into the air. -entirely new melee strings and Charge attack involving two beam sabers. That's right, because of the shield being removed, Wing Zero can suddenly wield two beam sabers. Let me be blunt, lacking move sets are the fault of the creator. Move sets are only as good as the creators imagination. There is a ton of potential with a lot of these suits but its ultimately up to the devs on how they are utilized.
Zasalamel would not be amused. As for what they are going to do with the previous Wing suits? I doubt they will do very much just like how they won't do very much with suits from X, G, Turn A, 00, and any other series that isn't getting a official mode in this game. I'm sure we'll see a charge attack swapped here or there and a few good burst modes but really, so far its apparent that their focus is on suits from the Official modes. |

I hope they add some variety to the Burst modes for the other suits. It seemed like all the "power ups" from the previous games (Zero System, Moonrace, Newtype, Seed Mode, etc) were all the exact same thing with different names. It seems that Newtype burst modes slow down time, while Seed Mode gives infinite thrust now, so I wonder what Zero System will do? In EXVS, it made it so no attacks could track WZ, but since there is no tracking in this game anyway, I wonder what it's going to be. I wouldn't be surprised if it also slowed down time, since that sounds like it fits the theme of a computer that can tell you what's going to happen before it does. I recall Zero System in previous GM game revolving around defense. So i kinda picture that. maybe a big def boost, but an interesting idea is maybe ZS could give the unit super armor, so it doesn't take stun/flinch when hit, and can attack through it. Like Zangief. |

Well we're already going to have different effects of Burst mode by MS. 00 Gundams' Trans-Am and RX-78-2's Magnetic Coating both will increase attack power, but Trans-Am will be more towards increasing movement speed, while MC will be instead making attack speed faster. For a refresher back then in GW1, Newtype and other series perks were treated as equippable skills, with the following effects ![]() Newtype & Cyber-Newtype: Won't get hit by projectiles when dashing Elite: Increases thruster gauge recovery speed School of Tohofuhai: Increases attack power when on red HP Zero System Mastery: Decreases guard stiffness time Moonrace: Gain a random temporary boost for each 50 shotdowns |

Yeah I liked those skills. I hope they bring some things back from GM1, especially the skills, stages, and storytelling. I also liked having different SP attacks depending on how many stocks you had. The upgrade system however, can stay in GM1. That's the one thing that's consistently gotten better. Edited by Wild Lion, Fri Nov 8, 2013 2:36 am.

Awesome that Lunamaria is featured in the Impulse beyond just Official Mode. Makes me wish this had WO mecha swapping in battle so I could have Team Shinn, Lunamaria, and Rey. Would replace Rey with Athrun if we had Savior. |

I noticed in Banshee's video that the Burst gauge did not lower at all after it was activated. I wonder how long it lasts? Maybe different suits can use it for different lengths of time? |

Rey's SP & Burst gauges don't get depleted either, even after launching SP and activating Burst Mode. Probably for this week's batch, they're setting up an 'always max SP & Burst gauges' cheat code so that they can show the SPs anytime they want

Moonrace and school of Tohofuhai gets carried over to the sequels as equipable skills though, only the other 3 didn't make it into GM2/3 IIRC as for the SP attack, different attacks would be okay, but GM1's SP attacks was not only different, it launches 3 different attacks, 99% of which did not make sense at all, you hit with one move, there's a chance the rest 2 will just hit air, especially if you want to focus it on a boss, which makes WZ the only MS in that game that can easily use his lv3 SP against anything, not just crowds, come GM2 onwards, his SP attack is just mediocre since everyone else gets better control of their SP's too it's a demo/trailer/unfinished build(whitebase burst spam in the TGS demo anyone?), we can't base our guesses by looking at the gauges on these vids, |

Oh the build is completely finished by now. If they want a release in just over a month, they've already started printing the discs and packing them up to be sent to stores. I'm not saying bring back the exact same SPs from GM1, I'm saying I like the concept and I think they should revisit it. I never had a problem hitting bosses with all 3 attacks for most MS, the only ones that gave me trouble were the waverider SPs like Epyon that you couldn't control. But this new lock-on feature would fix that anyway. I'd also like to see a skill to swap the ground and air SPs. Some MS like Turn-A have a much better air SP and those are tough to pull off when you're getting hammered by a group of Aces, and that's when you need it the most. I imagined banshee will be far more fierce melee, as opposed to the powerful range that unicorn offered with beam magnum and Gatling Gun. I want Sleggar and Johnny back. but make Johnny playable this time. |
