Anybody else wish they would've brought a few more of the older tracks than they did? I love Avenging Battle and Sacred Ground, but I wouldn't have minded Guan Du in WO1 with 'In Full Bloom' playing. |

Being able to choose music (like in SW2:E) would have been great. I just really like all the SW background music really. |

I remember someone said something about "Crest for Thirst" (Battle of Jie Ting) from DW6 Special making an appearance. Uncertain though... While that's a cool list of "new" tracks, I really wish they would've enabled the PS3 music playback for songs stored on the HDD. |

Thank you very much, Crimson XD. But it was a little strange anyways, that there is only one DW6 track. But I think I was to happy about it so that I was blinded by it. |

I dunno, if they do a new Orochi game they'd have to pull some amazing crap with the story to make me buy into it. It's pretty obvious in WO2 that Orochi DID NOT APPREICATE being brought back from the dead. His whole take on everything seemed to be very ho-hum and resined and he seemed HAPPY to die AGAIN. So...for a game named after the dude, you'd have to find a legit reason to bring him back again. And really how many times can you revive someone before it's not OH NOES anymore and it's just annoying? I don't want Orochi to become Cockrochi just because he won't stay dead. How about pissing him off thoroughly by resurrecting him again, this time he appears in-game as a VERY angry 8-headed snake demon (as in legend, IIRC) and the only way to defeat him is by uniting with Susanoo I mean come on, KOEI already has the beast thing now with DW:SF Spoiler: click to toggle

did you ever think that maybe Orochi never wanted to be revived, that dying was his plan all along? Manny posts earlyer i made a comment on how Orochi might not be truly evil. in WO1 when approching orochi with Okuni in samurai last stage in story mode, she says soemthing along the lines of: "Oh, no one ever took proper care of you did they? I can see past that scaly exterrior and see the only little boy inside." hinting he could be in some sort of pain. in WO2 when doing orochi storyline just before his last stage, when da ji and orochi comment on the mystics being back, he says something along the lines of: "I have spent an eternety in this skin, and they shall pay the wrongs i have been done" in WO2 when doing shu storyline last stage, if you approch orochi with Taigong he says: "The crimes you commited agenst humanity, that even the peace of death was stricken from you" saying that he wasnt able to die because back then death was more like an eternal sleep, something peacefull and something not feared. maybe he wanted to die because of his life forced to live in that snake skin, maybe the snake skin appearance of his was some sort of punishment for the crimes he commited, something they did before imprisoning him. i meen, had i been in his place i wouldent want to live ni the body i couldent stand eather but this is all just speculation on my part, to me it makes sence though if you have any ideas that could be beter or more realistic id like to know : ) id like to know what others have thougth up based off what they know |

Ixbran: Did you actually, I dunno, READ my post? I was saying, Orochi didn't seem to enjoy being back from the dead much. o_O Way to quote me and then prove what I was saying. I'm saying I don't see much basis for a third game without making the idea of resurrecting Orochi AGAIN who clearly didn't want to be THE FIRST TIME would be redundant and go against what they set up in WO2. It was in response to The Warriors desire for an all new Orochi game. It's pretty clear from WO2 Orochi wants to be dead--therefore another Orochi game, you know, NAMED AFTER HIM, would have to be BRILLIANT in the story department to make it work. Though I suppose they could always make a game pre-Orochi being imprisoned but then you couldn't work with DW or SW characters. |

I dunno. If they did do a third Warriors Orochi, they could have the Shu, Wei, Wu and Samurai stories involve them fighting amongst themselves in the absence of the Serpent King, and then the Orochi story could perhaps be Da Ji and Kiyomori's quest in WO2, or perhaps simply a story of what might've happened if Orochi X hadn't been defeated in the final battle. |

I always thought of how a third Warrors Orochi could work...don't get how. Orochi being revived for a third time...would be lame. I think Wu, Shu, and Wei should fight amongst themselves, and teh Samurai stories should be split into Oda, Takeda, and Uesugi. The Mystics should have thei own story as well.....eh....I cant see a 3rd one ever being made |

Ask a mod to delete the post. I hope they add another bring Orochi back again as a new character. That way I could have three Orochi's for each slot. I really don't care much about the story as long as it's interesting. |

well i actually wouldnt mind Orochi being revived again, or even just making up nonsense that he didn't die but was taken back to prison, along with Da Ji . The possible third could see a new villain trying to take over Orochi's twisted world, and the kingdoms, and Mystics (probably plus Orochi) have to band together to get rid of the new threat. Introducing a new enemy by the third installmen is pretty typical in movies...and games even, so why not. It would renew the series and keep it going...ya know but this time...dont kill anyone off. |

You got some great info there Johnny. I would imagine WO3 to be DW6 graphics, but with the same DW5/SW2 attire started in the first WO game, keeping all the same moves, looks, motions, etc... but all in next-gen graphics without using the DW6 engine or Renbu system... and remember, all DW/SW still have to get back to their own times. If Orochi were to truly perish, wouldn't the world he created just vanish? When SW3 hits stores in the future, I am betting we will hear about another WO game to close the trilogy. |
