Yeah I guess there's no other choice.

SCEA, SCEE: YOU SUCK DONKEY BALLS!
And this is not the first time SCEE screwed us over. I'd really like two rounds in a boxing ring with the rep there. I'll F***ING pay them 2000€ if I get a chance to get in the ring with him.
K1 rules. Finland, Helsinki, Töölön Kisahalli. I'll be waiting.

So i did well when i imported the game from Japan!! i was sure that see this game out of JP could be very hard.

Finally i decided to import.. and i think it´s not complicate to play in japanese, when i used to play WO1 & WO2. Anyway, there are many Faqs in the net than can help us in the walkthrouht of the game.

... everybody import MOZ, its my advice ^^
I agree. And if you have the EN WO2 intruction manual, it helps out alot, with translating attributes and abilities and such. Wanting to know what is going on in the new dream stages is really the only thing, but I say who cares.

I personally am not surprised that SCEA/SCEE would do this. They dont want the rep of having an exclusive that they know wont sell well or get good reviews(as these games never do).

i care  if there would be a video on youtube translating what's going on when you're playing then i wouldn't care  but it's like: "here the stage beat the crap on whoever you see!!! sub mission to make the stage easier? who cares? is the stage related to the story? who cares? just beat your opponents already!" so yeah no story 0/10 on gameplay :/

Well thats just my personal taste :/ Warriors Orochi is a made up story as it is, compared to that of SW and DW, where Koei gets the basis of their stories from history. So in that regard, Koei isnt really that great when it comes to making up stories like WO series. So while I would like to know what is going on aswell, and mainly dont care as long as it is a fun games and MOZ rocks on that stand point.

Lucky for me I can read some Japanese and understand it fairly well.
But still, SCEE should have published the game.
It was going to sell as many copies as DW6E(in the future) since it is the ONLY Orochi game on the PS3.
SCEE is full of idiots and assholes. I'm just going to start importing games from now on.

Just to say unfortunately this game won't be releasing in the US or EU. Just to clear the current rumours up.

Look forward to WO2 on the PSP though.
WO2 on the PSP is gonna blow, cause its on the PSP. I dont give a rats tutu about its extra features, I just want WOZ on PS3. KOEI frustrates me so much I wanna jump of a cliff.

I agree. WO2 on the PSP is useless. The PS3, in the EU/US, now doesn't have a single Orochi game on it.
Also apparently it's SCEA/SCEE's fault.

Yeah I guess. But at least DW6 Empires will show in America or Europe. Unlike another game, which I won't point out. ^_^

Stupid logic. The PSP version is going to be better for the fact that it's portable. In the end it's still the same bloody game, just playable anywhere instead of just at home or whoever else you know has a ps3 at their place.

lol not a majot loss, outside lose'n WO1 on the same disc, with the new psp go! on the way (c'mon, it's true, you know it) i might just pick up both & strikeforce, w00t~! though then again i do find WO2 to be the weaker of the 2 games, so who knows

Either or, empires pretty much killed my interest in this game lol

I think he meant that because it's on the PSP it's within the limits of said console.
So no huge masses of enemies, not as many extras, graphics not as nice etc.
There's no reason to start bashing other people.

Can't say I'm best pleased that I won't get to play the game *growls at SCEE*, though I suppose I'm not missing out on too much (since I already have WO1 and 2).

Oh well, roll on DW6:E.

The PSP Orochi ports are some of the best PS2-PSP ports on the console. It's pretty ridiculous that some of you guys are bashing them without even playing them yet. With your PSP at 333 MhZ and the UMD installed to your memory stick, you get a port with even less slowdown than the original game, and no load times to boot. Tagging is a little awkward at first, but nothing a bit of practice won't fix.

You even get on-the-fly cheats via CWCheat, which is fun for messing with the game, or just unlocking everything quickly.

It may not be MOZ, but WO2 for PSP is a respectable addition to the series.

^This.

I've tried it abit here and there and it's just awesome. It seems almost like the PS2 version. I must say (excluding the lack of some of the voice-work, free camera, triple musou and battle win animations which cannot be helped due to size and control limitations).

As for those who hate it, you'll feel almost at home playing it on the PSP since the menus and whatnot are 95% the same ;) Just wait for WO2, you'll love it. I'm definitely buying it for my PSP3K when it comes out.

Just because it's on the PSP, it won't necessarily 'blow'. Play it before making that comment.

Woah, what a coinsidence >_>. Just a moment ago they announced that World Heavyweight Championship match between Valujev and Tshagajev was canceled. So, no boxing and no MOZ for Europe (and US)...

But I have nothing to complain really. I'm not a fan of boxing ( :P ) and I don't own a PS3. So WO2 PSP with MOZ's content it is then.

Sucks that it will not be released here on the PS3...

Let's hope they at least consider a PC port down the line, which has the potential to be the best version since it has the graphics/power that could rival the PS3 version(base game is still PS2 and the WO1 PC port showed it could run it very well), modding/hack potential, and portability via laptop. :D

To those saying the PSP ports are the best, I'd like to step in:

Pros:

Handheld
No need to plug
Disks are cased in
Can buy additional equipment (I.E covers, chargers)

Cons:
It's not the same as the original consoles, it'll be like Strikeforce (I admit it was fun but it was released only for the PSP)
Limits
Not enough enemies (could be a good or bad thing)
Barriers
Small maps
Probably can't hold many voice files (Strikeforce only had defeating officer quotes voices)

Just my opinion there.
