Why not POW like Kunoichi? then again no ninja would be TEC and i doubt they will chage the old characters types anyway as their fates have been sealed since the Warriors Orochi Game they Debuted in.

Well that's pretty cool. It's a WO+WO2 bundle game for PS3 that will have new scenarios and characters.

Reminds me of SRW: Original Generations or that one Metal Gear bundle game...
Not sure if want. Depends on what these scenarios/characters are.
NEEDS MORE OROCHI STORY/LOLIS for my buy, I guess?
No, we certainly don't need any more lolis. I felt like muting my TV every time that abomination named Himiiko came on the screen. It didn't help that it seemed like she was on every map at some point.

@LittleDragonZ: Yeah, the usual localization time for KOEI games seems to be about six months now. Since this game probably won't have much in the way of new spoken dialog, it may come out sooner, like Orochi 1 PSP did.

When it comes down to it, im just sick of these last gen remakes.

Work on the real stuff like SW3 or even DW6:E and I dont even like empires games but anything toward a step of progress is better then this rehash crap. I mean they cant expect Orochi Z to sell well anywhere but Japan. I mean the normal games get bad enough ratings every where else.

I have bought every koei game ever made but I am really starting to doubt them with this now. I mean really most people I know that have a PS3 have a 360 or a backward comp PS3. SO they have already played WO
And I really dont think anything added in this is worth $60.

And even if you never played before, WO is getting old and the graphics WAYYY dated. $30 tops and still not worth it

It's more like a next-gen remake which is actually stepping forward.

Are you crazy? Warriors Orochi Z is probably going to sell out once it touches North American soil. Just know that they have different factions with Koei, one group works on SW another works on DW. And they probably help each other out. This is not an expansion, it's an UPGRADED version of Warriors Orochi and Warriors Orochi 2; so it's probably expected to be $50 or $60.

I've played both Warriors Orochi's and I am totally excited for Warriors Orochi Z.

:o :o WHA??...OK, OK, so i guess perhaps you've missed the news. WOZ is JUST WO & WO2 with two new characters, and some new scenarios. it is not a new Orochi title, thus Hanzo will remain Technique type.

Exactly, and not to mention that everyone remained the same from WO1 to WO2, which were true sequels, while this isnt a sequel.

@donthatekongming: dont use that should be working on something else as a proving point. Koei can work on multiple games at the same time. As for the rest of what you said, then just dont buy it, its as simple as that. Koei knows that a lot of big warriors fans that have a PS3 and even played both games already, will still get this game, because fans that have PS3's finally want to see WO with some awesome better graphics. And no, most people with PS3s dont have 360s, we live in a time of console wars and most people choose one, and most certainly not everyone has the luxury of going out and paying for both. Not to mention the added features and characters, if this was for PS2, fans would still buy it.
Koei wants to make money and they know how to do it.

Well, I don't see Wukong in any need of a comrade. I don't know how one of them would fit in with the storyline though. Also, Qin Shi Huang deserves to be in the game more I think, than one of the more-in-the-background characters from JTTW.
Hmm... I beg the difference! Don't forget that WOZ isn't an expansion or a sequel to WO2. It's a special edition for the PS3 with both games and extra content.

If Erlang Shen was added to the game, the story would be more interesting and it wouldn't expand on the story further but rather explain the original plot. The addition of Erlang Shen, could explain how Sun Wukong joined Kiyomori and Erlang Shen was sent to capture Sun Wukong and return him back to the mystic realm. In order to that he must aid the Warriors and the three mystics.

Qin Shi Huang would be good as well but his presence would feel out of place since he had nothing to do with the original plot at all. I think the reason Benkei is included because of Yoshitsune. The 2nd new character should be related to one of the new characters from WO2 which I strongly feel it's Wukong.
A very good idea by using Erlang Shen but perhaps we could also replace him with Nezha because he is also Wukong "Rival" in JTTW.

Also,we could put The Jade Emperor inside to explain that he is the one who imprison Orochi and also the one who command The mystical ppl to defeat him.But it failed and he had to go and defeat Orochi himself.

It wont come out on PS2, I mearly said it to make a point. There is no point for it to, when it already is out on PS2 in the form of two seperate games. Sure it lacks two characters and a couple of other things. But these are things that arnt even worth making an expansion for. I know Koei wont, but the only other system that this would be possible for is the Wii, because both the Wii and PS3 lack WO games. Im just saying though, im not saying it would happen, thats like a 1% chance.

Just like PS2 what's the point of having this game on PSP again when there are WO and WO2 on PSP already?

Yes, thats the point, they already have WO and WO2 on PSP, so thats why WOZ wouldnt go to PSP. Are you still not understanding that WOZ is just WO and WO2 combined?

...which I wouldn't spend NZ $80 for (that's how much I spent on each WO games)! It isn't such a bad deal if I don't have WO and WO2 already.
This is a WO compilation game for PS3. Since I started playing video games I have yet to see a compilation game of games that were released for the same console (in this case PS2) except for PC because PC games always get complete collections or gold editions or something like that.

Maybe! Since Keoi hasn't announced WO2 for PC, they might release MOZ for PC and throw WO2 into the waste bin completely. :o

We haven't gotten any info on the possibility of SF costumes being included. Though it is doubtful since 7 of the DW characters wouldn't be able to have them.

why would it have SF costumes if its DW5 characters, not 6? I mean that would be cool, but No. I bet they wont offer anything new in the game besides the new characters and a few levels
