I also wish they would advance more with SW3. But, do you know what I also wish, is for you to stop complaining. This game is not a visual of laziness, it is Koei giving the PS3 users a chance to enjoy the games in hi def(even though it might not be the best graphics). Just because you dont care for this game, doesnt mean everyone else feels the same. As Devilsking as an example, him among others can finally enjoy WO and WO2. And these users deserve some extra content since they had to wait longer to play. Adding another palete swap is not laziness, they could have not decided to add another "4th costume" and im sure you wouldnt even have noticed then. If you dont care for this game, then there is no sence in commenting any longer. Bring it up in one post that you disagree with this game, but dont keep posting your hardheadedness over and over again. Let the people who want this game, enjoy the news of it. |

They give us two games in one, add twelve new scenarios, which makes 140 scenarios which are now fully playable for everyone. They make Dodomekki and Gyuki fully playable in every mode, add two complete new characters to the game and now you can play with CPU in any VS mode. Also they added for over 90 characters new colors for one of their costumes. They are not lazy, they couldīve just ported WO2 or the compilation without adding anything. And...thatīs it? You complain because this is just a port? Of course it is. But still KOEI adds new stuff. I mean what did Bioshock get in the PS3 port? Some DLC missions, which are played trough in one hour? THEY ADD TWO CHARACTERS. THEY GIVE TWO CHARACTERS A FULL MOVESET. THEY ADD NEW SCENARIOS AND FEATURES. (Sorry for caps ...just want to make it clear)And all that for a PS3 port. Normally, the graphics get updated, or some small items or one new level is added, but look what KOEI adds. For the 1000th time, this is not WO3. Not SW3. Not DW6:E. This. is. just. a. port. And again, for a port, theyīve done a wonderfull job so far. Keep it going KOEI.

Well skode, but thatīs the way things are, not only KOEI does it. A friend of mine bought Burnout Paradise for 70 . I waited for an half year and got it for 30 , all the DLC allready included. You got to play WO before all the PS3 only, WIIS3 owners. Finally after years of waiting with no WO game at all, we can play it. All the people who bought an HD television at the start...they were the first to watch and play HD. But they paid a high price. Now you get even better TVs for 1/4 of what they paid. Or the people who bought a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for 100 bucks on ebay....and one week later Sony releases it on the PSN for 10 bucks as a download. "He who laughs last, laughs best" Get it earlier, or get it cheaper. Thereīs only one of those ways. We knew something like this would happen. I thought it would be WO2:XL or even Empires, but it was Z. Thatīs why I waited. I couldnīt play it. Now my waiting is over. And it was worth the wait. For the XBOX360 version problem, it would be unfair for the PS2 owners. Cause PS2 has no way to get DLC. Maybe print DVD and sell it as a compilation, just like the PS3 version? Would be a nice idea. However KOEI will probably think: So a lot of people bought WO and WO2 for XBOX360 and PS2 allready. They wonīt buy WOZ just for this bonus. We added it as a gift for the long time PS3 gamers had to wait and to convince people who only own one of the the games or just the PS2 titles who want better graphics but wouldnīt buy it if itīs all the same, to buy WOZ.....but as a stand alone reason to buy the same games again? Thatīs not enough to convince people. Nah. Wonīt work. Sadly |

Well in fairness PS3 did last i looked play PS2 console titles so they wouldnt really have missed out in that sense - the 360 on the other hand got the full titles of WO and WO2 (at a more expensive price - this is not a complaint as next gen games cost a prettier penny )This however just makes little sense to me - sure they need exposure for the series on the PS3 in a sense of an actual PS3 disc title but what is this to the loyal fanbase of 360 and this time PS2 owners who spend there hard earned cash and became little many others a loyal fanbase to the series especially in the West where game mags and online critics cue to slate the games so openly. Nah, im not amused - i cant help but feel this way and if they really wanted to push the series for the PS3 then they should have waited and did an Orochi 3 and gave EVERYONE a look in...this makes a mockery of my following of the series. Unlike in an instance where like you say game of the year additions appear where games are released with all the DLC included for the same retail price we are talking about exclusives - nice additions (especially the new characters) i CANT get for all the waiting, downloading or old fashion buying in the world. |

I can't wait to get this game. I'm also looking forward to playing as Benkei and that mysterious female character (whoever it is). Thanks to Warriors Orochi 2, technically, I've played every single Dynasty and Samurai Warrior available. I wonder if they'll add features such as the ability to swim or have soundtracks of both Dynasty Warriors online and Dynasty Warriors 6 (In this case, my favorite track is the Battle of Hu Lao Gate from DW6). |

The DW6 and GUNDAM specials were all exclusive so they generally stick to what they say with these specials and Orochi Z i consider another despite the fact it doesnt say special in the title. I only hope now i dont miss out and they make an Orochi 3 (With DW6 Empires ill get the decloned characters i couldnt with the special but this is different in the fact that these are new characters and also im not entirely sure they will expand the series beyond this Orochi Z...not unless the PS3 fans lap it up and i hope they do after getting all this exclusive stuff )

WOZ is a compilation of WO and WO2, with 12 new Dream scenarios and 2 new characters. it is not a new WO game, period. KOEI will not add new features to this compendium, so no swimming(thank goodness) and no chance of the OST you are wanting. sorry. |

Hmm, I wonder what the fourth costume will be, last I checked it was, 1. Normal Costume 2. Pallette Swap 3. DW4/SW1/WO2 new costume for certain characters I can imagine that Yoshimoto's 4th might be his SW1 costume, since it was in WO but removed from WO2. |

I'm sorry. I didn't mean it rude, I wanted to make my point clear. I said your English isn't great, but I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to tell you. Next time you want to want to say something "harder" just put something like "!!!" at the end, okay? @Foomin: on the main site they say it is pallette swap. I just think this is pointless. We already have unique Warriors Orochi color swaps to begin with and we do not need another. Even though Koei could have just given us the original 2nd color swap from DW5 --- (i.e.) Cao Pi had silver attire; while in the WO games, his new color swap off his DW5 costume had him with a red cape and blonde hair. --- so the 4th color swap is better than nothing. I am guessing that the new color swaps will augment their current 3rd costume? If so... blah... I will most likely not use them. Different outfits were awesome. I almost always played with Lu Bu's DW4 costume, because it kicked sooooo much arse. You know, I hope KOEI employees read these posts of ours, because I just thought of a great sales pitch. The only reason I say this about these new color swaps is because some of the new characters 3rd costume in WO2 was pointless, or a cheap rendition of their current outfit. Take Nu Wa for example. Her default costume was simply tweaked into pinkish purple stockings, black hair, a crescent moon halo over her head - reminded me of a cheap knock-off of Morrigan from Darkstalkers. KOEI can keep those costumes, and say, add the original DW3 Nu Wa and completely render it to next-gen graphics so it would not look as bad as it did in DW3 in 2001. It can be done, and fans would be more appreciative of something worthwhile instead of a puny change in the initial default costume. I would entertain the idea of KOEI advertising for their new next-gen DW6 and DWSF franchises by giving us DW6 costumes or the DWSF "Awakening" outfits. I think it would be cool to play as a DW6 Lu Bu wielding his original Halberd or using a DW6 Sun Shang Xiang with Chakrams. Have you all ever thought of this? I bet sales would skyrocket if such information was released. It is just a little something nice for everyone to have and it may entice the gamer to check out where those costumes originated from. It can lead to yet another purchase of a KOEI game due to contents in WOZ, and KOEI's overall net worth increases, however minuscule, it is still an increase and money is money to businesses. I like how some of you say that these new features are "lazy". I am almost forced to agree. With only 2 real new characters, more Dream Stages, that are not even canon to the story created by KOEI in this new series (that has so much potential for a final entry in this trilogy), and all these other features about CPU versus modes and a 4th costume really gets me down. We were all hyped over the mega-update WO2 served us - and it paid off. I got my money's worth and I thank KOEI for the time and effort they put into yet another awesome game. The news of WOZ is great, because someone must be buying the original games, and I am sure KOEI is profiting somehow. But why PS2/360 graphics? Why not go the extra yard and redo everything in DW6 graphics with all these nice features showed. Re-use the voice over grunts and such where needed, all animations for attacking, charge attacks, musou, special attacks, redo the CG scenes, etc... and just HD everything. It would be a huge seller!! I am serious about the DW6/DWSF costumes as a bonus, or even as DLC. I am sure KOEI can come up with decent add-on content that true fans would purchase. And when you think about it, they could make quick cash by re-using old costumes and selling them for as little as $2.99 - and if even 1,000 gamers purchase them, well... you do the math. The money made from there would require little to no effort at all and KOEI would profit. |

Well personally I don't want the "DBZ-ness" of the DWSF "Awakening" outfits intruding into the standard games or the WO series myself. And the graphics would have to go up if they were tu use the next gen costumes. |

True... but the Orochi series main theme is the Power of Man in both 1 and 2... having a Seian mode would kind be a detraction from that. |
