Awesome job on the scanning Hanzo interesting how the Fu Xis are basically in the same pose. For Nu Wa, Like I said before, its the hair that totally turns me, I love it in WO2. DW3 Fu Xi looks like Zhao Yun with a different outfit, that only supports my statement more of him looking generic His WO2 outfit is way more detailed and way more fitting for a mystic. I just think the DW3 outfits are blah, thats just my opinion, and ill repect yours. And its obvious to why LDZ likes DW3 Fu Xi

Any thoughts on the Odani castle stage that Diao Chan is pictured in, is it from WO2 or is it a dream stage? I'm going dream as I don't remember black colored troops in the WO2 version. |

You only think about WO2, but there's also WO in this game, remember? Still, there weren't black troops there either. So it has to be a dream stage then. |

Ah, I am so glad they are bringing SW1 alternate costumes into WO; that is what I always wished for. DW6 models will be great to have as well (Sima Yi~). I can hardly wait to play this game. |

being entirely diplomatic(which i'm not normally), but i love both Nu Wa's, and i can imagine the redo for the DW3 model(which i would love), we've already got 3 versions of the WO2 Nu Wa, so WHY NOT have the DW3 version modernized? her bracers, less cleavage and sensible boots would be a refreshing change. as for Fu Xi, i do not care for his WO2 look(the grey haired option is EVEN worse than the others, SNORE!). now to me, that is generic, he could be any common English knight, his DW3 is much shmexier, and makes him seem not so reserved and snoozy. but i do respect that others like the iconography of the armor, but it certainly does not shout "MYSTIC" for me. and thanks for the side-by-side comparisons, Hanzo. much appreciated. |

I never liked Nu Wa's DW3 model. She looked very bland and boring. Granted her moveset was fun to use, especially her musou. But her model, I never liked and I love her WO model, to me it's 10x better. As for Fu Xi, I agree with foomin here. His WO2 model doesn't make him seem lke a mystic, but it isn't bad. His DW3 model doesn't scream "mystic" ny better than his WO2 model, but it is atleast more interesting than his fully armored, bland, Captain America sounding character in WO. |

I'm not sure what to think about all of it, really. While it does please me to see those costumes return (SW Alternatives, and some DW6 designs, especially Lu Meng's), as well as some new ones (I'm hoping Wukong looks more like he did in the game Saiyuki: Journey West), I just can't get over the fact that... well, in theory, it's still the game I've already played to death already. It's one of those things that if I hadn't have already played WO1 and WO2, then I'd be spastically happy about. Sort of like the DW6 Special, except not so much the sting of betrayal. Well, a lot better than DW6 Special for me. XD Maybe since it's on the PS3 they'll have Japanese voice options? HA, YEAH RIGHT! WHAT A LAUGH! However, throwing all pessimism aside, depending on the price will determine if I'll get it. Maybe, if it's that good, I can sell my copies of the PS2 games and just start all over? I dunno... I've already done so much on those... despite the flashyness, it's still the same damn game. EDIT: Just to be on topic with everyone else, I'll mention the DW3 vs WO2 Designs of the two incestuous snakes, I mean, mystics... WO2 Nu Wa >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DW3 Nu Wa Skankalicious, yes, but at least it's more artistically pleasing to my eyes than that bland and boring design in DW3, especially the hair. I will say, though, that I much prefer those boots in DW3... throw that on Nu Wa and make them fit color-wise and we got ourselves a deal. However, I hate her personality entirely so really, her looks are the only thing going for her in WO2 anyway. WO2 Fu Xi = DW3 Fu Xi I love the helmet, but otherwise, I really could care less about this guy. I never got into the Fu Xi and Nu Wa bandwagon... they were just bonus characters that I didn't miss or care for the moveset in DW3, and in WO2 they're given personalities that I just don't like. Then again, I hated all of the mystics and most of the characters on the GOOD side, including fisher boy and Yoshitsune. I much enjoyed Himiko, Wukong, and especially Kiyomori... the others just irritated me. Edited by ChibiGingi, Wed Feb 4, 2009 10:07 pm.

Reason why I discounted the WO1 Odani castle is a) the troops uniforms were green and b) there was no enemy unit in the NW garrison. Resons for it maybe the WO2 Odani castles is deployment of the forces as well as orochi troops being present, but unless they made orochi forces wear black it would have to be a dream stage. |

Personaly i like both Fu Xi and Nu Wa in both DW3 and WO2 costumes. both are intresting and unique. seeing them bring back their DW3 costumes would be awsome, since it would pay tribute to the game DW3. : ) wich was the first DW game i ever played. |

and that's exactly what your getting, you already have the SW1 originals for everyone but Kuno, Goemon and Yoshimoto as the 3rd in WO2. WOZ is adding all the rest of the SW1 originals as 4ths, and Kuno and Goemon will apparently get all new costumes for their 4th, and Yoshi will get his SW1:XL original. |

so, i'm assuming that the woman between Hideyoshi and Diao Chan is Da Ji, at first i was convinced it was the new female character(Quan Yin), but upon further inspection, i decided it's an "I Dream Of Jeannie" version of Da Ji, which is AWESOME. "IDOJ" is a sixties TV sitcom, if you don't know it, check it out and you'll see what i mean. |

News costumes for characters are great add ^^ As DW6 costumes, SW1 Alternatives, & some news for others characters. This WOZ seems to regroup all WOs + others add from both series DW + SW, it's a game to merge completly the 2 series? Well that's a nice gift for PS3 users ![]() By the way, I wonder why Z, it's the last WO? Well, it's maybe just a title ^^'''' |

Meh, give me substance not fluff, I'd rather hear more on the dream stages, or Dodomeki and Gyuki (like are their movesets changed, and to a fluffier extent, outfits?) or even the new character. Or something big like choosing baattle and then choosing sides for story mode stages as that would literally double the gameplay.

Knowing them it really wouldn't be at all surprising.I doubt even if it did it would happen for a while though, with downgrades and all... The game seems like it will be big enough that it would take a bit to sqeeze it down, especially for ps2. Edited by Sun Ce, Thu Feb 5, 2009 12:28 am.

LOL foomin, thats exactly what I thought when I saw Da Ji. Ive seen I dream of Jeannie a couple of times and Da Ji has that look. OMG, I cant believe you all think there will be a port to another system still. DW6S is different because PS2 never had DW6, but PS2 already has WO and WO2, get the picture? |

That is a good point Sonic. I guess it would be easier to see if this were an actual sequel of sorts and not just already a special type release. It would make more sense for it to be exclusive...

I'm kinda looking at this game as an xtreme legends kind of, and at least for some of the new dream mode features (selecting your own team) as features that should have been in WO2 in the first place. As we are getting: Effectively 4 new characters 1 additional costume slot for every character All of WO1+2 stages, +12 additional stages Selectability of teams in all dream mode stages 1 player vs. computer for all 2-player mini-game modes. All they really need is to add like maybe an Xtreme mode or something similiar and then it would be "interesting" As all we know is they have one more character left to reveal, who knows if that is it though. And while I would have a problem with this ported to the ps2, I still hold out for a 360 release. |

that goes against the logic of what XL is supposed to be, an expantion to a game on the same platform |

Well turning the extra content into an XL for PS2 or DLC for 360 is a bit more plausable, and not something im totally against if it were to come out much later then this. But what most of you seem to keep bringing up is not this. A lot of you are always mentioning port this and bring this game to another system, which is foolish. You dont need all that this game provides for a full game to the other systems, only the extra content. But even that I think is still not going to happen, and I actually hope doesnt, cause Koei needs to stop feeding the continued life of the PS2. |
