And the only thing missing from all this is CAW. :o

Well, seeing as how I haven't owned, or even played WO1 or 2, this'd be great for me...only if they bring it to the 360, which I'd imagine they would, since almost all their newer games are for 360 as well.

Hell, if they can claim a sequel as big as SW3 is a Wii exclusive, they could surely bring WOZ to the Xbox.
:hmmm: I suppose ill go easy on you, as i bet you havent read through this topic.

But no, it wont come to the 360, because this isnt a sequal, its a port of both games with a few extras. It would practically be like rereleasing the games over again.
Well I never said this was a sequel. =|

And how impossible could it be? DW6 was for 360/PS3, ported to PS2, and then a spinoff is released on PSP. And if WOZ is a port itself, how hard would it be to once again port it to the 360?

I'm simply theorizing, like everybody else in this thread. I'm not dumb.

DW6 being ported to PS2 is different, because the PS2 never had DW6 previously. While on the other hand, both WO and WO2 are already on the 360, so it makes no sence to release WOZ in full on the 360 if it basically already has the game.

Ahh, well, true. Still, it'd be nice. =O

Because I'm sure not buying a PS3 just for this game. It'd be nice...

But, still, CAW. Where'zit at?

hmm, I would lol if Koei made a WOZ:S for ps2 and 360
Why? If that did happen (which it will....trust me. this is koei we're talking about) the heavens would open. I'd expect it to be only 360 related instead of PS2, because I believe the X-box has more disc space.
Actually, that's not true. The 360 uses the same DVD9 format that the PS2 is capable of. Now whether you can fit both of these games plus the new features on a single DVD9 is another story... though I could see how it would be possible. IIRC both WO1 and WO2 were slightly under 4GB, so if that's true then it should fit.

If not though then there's certainly nothing saying they couldn't just use two DVD5s, though that would probably cause the games to be separated rather than combined, and cause all sorts of problems....
THATS what I mean. All that PS2 has no room for these games is just pure bullsh...crap! All throughout the years, they had many different methods of getting XL's on the same disc as the originals...infact they ALL have been! They just lock out the content until they see you have the original disc. Do you realy think that it takes 2 seconds to load all that data from the original disc? Its because its not realy loading anything but a disc ID!
This is very true. I've seen the contents of the XL discs myself. Tried to crack the code on how to unlock the lock on the old data, couldn't figure it out unfortunately...

It is getting a bit off topic, but they are just mentioning how they think WOZ would be able to fit on a regular DVD disc. In which I do doubt. Even if it was possible, it would probably be maxed out, and Koei would probably just feel safer going with 2 discs. Which would just make the whole idea even sillier. Because the first disc would be WO1 and the second would be WO2, LOL which is already what the 360 and PS2 already have of WO. Its so illogical

So your saying that it'd be better for it to be on 2 discs? If so, i disagree. :o The PS3 disc has ALOT OF MEMORY SPACE IN IT. I personally think it'd be better if there was just the mix joy feature if they did it that way. But i really want it to be one disc. Koei needs to move on with new stuff. not stay with the old, old meaning having 2 discs :ph43r:

Yea, because being able to dress up your warrior in 1 extra suit totaly redeems the shortcomings in story, gameplay and longetivity the Orochi series has always lacked

Im not an idiot, I know of the blu ray discs memory space compared to dvds. I didnt even mention of WOZ on PS3. I was talking about the speculation of all the data of WOZ fitting on one disc if this game was on PS2 or 360, and that I dont think it would fit, so they would have to make it on 2 discs. I dont know why I mention it though, when clearly this wont be on anything except the PS3

Never realized how skanky original Nu Wa is(belly-flashing doesn't work well with that outfit either...) She's showing even MORE skin than WO2 Nu Wa since WO2 Nu Wa has her arms mostly covered in long gloves.

And her hair is a mix of silver and GREEN(sorta jade?), not gray. Get your eyes checked sometime?

Making poor, made-up comments about the current Nu Wa in favor of the old one is tactless. Nostalgia blinds you greatly, Hanzo.

As for old Fu Xi... still looks like a generic bruiser with a big sword. Looks too similar to the light armor CAW from DW5E. New Fu Xi doesn't look mystic (not like he's MEANT to anyway) but he at least looks more formidable and like someone important.
It is ignorant posts like this which discourages fans that are interested in the series. Look, if you wanted to insult me about my eyes which had no validity towards my initial observation about hair comparison, you have the power (yes even as a mod) to send a PM about it. Don't be rude - it just lowers your credibility, especially being a KW advocate and having responsibilities around the site. You can avoid pointless comments directed at a user without the use of unnecessary bass rhetoric (meaning you could state your opinion and end it there without adding anything more, in this case about me getting my eyes "checked"). Please be respectful...

Now to the topic and meat of this! If you are also going to talk about "showing too much skin", might I address your attention next time to research 360º of the characters body before coming to a conclusion. The term "showing too much skin" refers to provocative dress. WO2 Nu Wa clearly wins, as DW3 Nu Wa is more covered.

About the hair... it is "silver" as you kindly put it, but you say "not gray". My friend, while silver may be its own color, the components consist of black, white, and gray respectfully. Also, where we can see green or jade, only appears at the end/tip of her hair, making up approximately 40% of her total hair mass. It is not really a "mix", rather a two-tone blend of 1 color (white) fading to a 2nd color (green) or vice versa.

Your comment about "old" Fu Xi escapes me. Was it not KOEI's attempt to add the Great Sword and Rapier to their Edit modes along with similar armor to resemble Fu Xi and Nu Wa of DW3? If there were fans of these two bonus characters, I for example could reconstruct them as to how I remembered them looking. I mean, their weapons lived on in 3 DW titles before ending up in WO2... so I would hope some of the armor "looked" the same...

While I wouldn't go as far as calling it nostalgic, I am a true fan of this continuing series and I'd think it be very cool to see it happen, especially for those veteran players of before, during, and after DW3's glory days. Another thing, there are already fans who are willing to check out WOZ due to the immense speculation of something I'll coin as "unknown possibilities". This is great news, as their spirits are not broken by the posts stating how new costumes and other added content are the only reasons individuals will be buying this. Forgive me if I am wrong, these are the games we are FANS of that have had minor tweaks and changes for over 8 years, and why the majority of us belong here to this wonderful site. WOZ is no different than DW4 or DW5 for that matter. All is relative...

Delicious!

Serious answer: I'm not sure. In WO2 they pretty much classified him as a 'new' character as his third outfit followed the SW2 new peeps (minus Ieyasu and Nagamasa) set up. Would I LIKE to see Masamune in the kitty costume? ... Well, shamefully yes, but for the guy players' sakes, no.

I'm content with his third costume as it is... he looks like a pirate!

hmm, most of them were in there as generics /hmm:

Well, to people who think WOZ is the end...remember, this is the company we are dealing with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W44BIZ6_dA&feature=channel_page
Very funny right....Koei isnt that so easy like just expand damn idoit series over over and OVER again!

They must first conclude whther the story is continuable and the market....

A company isnt that simple as you think......A meeting, boss ask all the bloody achievemnt, then empployees say continue the series and FINISH!!! Wow.....Ironic enough right?

Do not because of DW6 and MoZ makes you think that koei is shed.......DW6 is rush and MOZ is being continued....We must see koei's another COMPLETELY NEW game then by the time we can comment them......

By the way Orochi series I bet Koei would not bother to have the third...CAUSE is there any really any story to continued with after orochi had died???????Rebirth the second time????More chracters???????????Perhaps the Alexandra the Great come in and fight????????Koei isnt as stupid as you all thought.........

I really can't wait til this comes out but I'll only have a few days to enjoy it before DW G 2 comes out in english and takes away all my time D:

...but that is unless you plan on importing MOZ instead.
