I really can't wait til this comes out but I'll only have a few days to enjoy it before DW G 2 comes out in english and takes away all my time D:
Uhh, isn't it the reverse? DWG2 will be out in US and it's way before WOZ will be brought over. :hehe:

...but that is unless you plan on importing MOZ instead.
Jorgh ain't the only one that's gonna do that. :cool:

Gonna have to split my time between the both games :lol: (though DWG2 more since it's a new game after all :sly: )

Yeah I'm importing this. Mainly because the voice acting is so terrible for the Orochi games. Usually I really like the english voices but blarg.

That first move looks very inspired by Gundam Musou. Looks so alike the dash feature! :sly:

He will be a cool character to use, as always are fresh new playables to play as.

He looks like a pretty cool character to use, his C2 reminds me of the Sky Ninjas (?) who dig into the ground, Too bad it didn't show his Musou/True Musou yet.
He, Yoshitsune and Kiyomori probably have a special Triple Musou attack. :sly:

Well, I guess we can more or less confirm Benkei is a Normal attack type?

From what I could tell in the video, we could see his moves as follows:

C3 > C4 > C2 > C7 > C8

I must say, I think he has a pretty unique moveset, and is pretty agile for being such a large character :blink:

Watching that video, Benkei's a friggin monster. Being a PWR type really suits him, and I totally dig that ninja ground move.

When will the new character be revealed again? (I want to hold of on Guan Yin confirmation until we are really sure)

That divided faction selection screen looks well organized. I wonder how Dodo and Guyki are to be unlocked this time around.

Also, maybe I'm missing something here, why is Goemon amongst all the ninjas?

im really worried about the character unlocking... dodomeki, gyuki, and especially shin orochi.. were a pain to unlock...

and from the screenshots, i can only assume dodomeki, gyuki, and shin orochi will still only have one outfit, they wont even have pallette swaps from the looks of it...

Edit: the only thing i need for WOZ to be the perfect game to me is a CaW... why wont koei put a little extra work into it to make that?

wish we could do something to get word to them that we want a CaW... i like creating my own warriors. :(

i agree with the second two wholeheartedly. i'm personally just not thrilled with CAW anywhere but in Empires, and with nearly 100 characters, i'm not convinced that it's necessary. but not being able to play as the opposing force is really just criminal at this stage in KOEI's development. same with 2p choices.

Yeah Benkei definitely looks like a normal type, also to answer the question of what stage, it looks like the Sakon Shima, Kanetsugu Naoe, and Lu Xun dream stage.

I personally dislike Benkei's move set because he is kinda slow.
He fights like cao ren, smash and stuff
exactly the move sets I dislike lol :P

Benkei's moveset remind Meng Huo's moveset, because of the type of fist weapon, Benkei's attack when he's hidden in the floor/earth, looks interesting ^^
Also Benkei looks tall in the video.

By the way, I don't know if we see his entirely move (we don't see his musou) so there're still thing to discover :)

Well one issue with the opposing force thing that I can't see fixed in anyway, unless overall gameplay changes is that if the player (either 1st or 2nd) dies, the game is over...and these games really lack in the VS department, so killing someone easily with a string of combos will easily end the game. But this is talking about the main game

I mean, if we're talking Empires, I guess the whole respawn thing could be used, but with limited AI amongst your allies and the players being WAY smarter than the game AI, it just lacks some fun seeing as the players would just plow through, kill, take over, win...or just keep killing each other over and over again...

Hopefully some of this makes sense, cause I don't know how to word it right. But hopefully at least one of you gets what I'm trying to say. =/

i DO understand what you were referring to, however my hope is simpler than that. i just want to be able to play as either side in each given level, since some scenario's are Kingdom/Sengoku/Orochi specific. this has always annoyed me about KOEI, but never more so than in Orochi, where levels like Wuhang Mountain, Jia Meng Gate, Hinokawa, Itsukushima, Chang Ban, etc. would've been so much fun to play as the opponent/ally forces. and now with even more Orochi generals there really is no excuse for not doing it.


and otherwise, on the rare occasion i can get someone to play with me, that they could choose their own team, rather than having to share my characters.

both of these things should've been fixed long ago, or at least in DW6, where in DW6:S at least you DO get the option to play some battles as any of the forces involved. it just smacks of more laziness on the part of the company.

SW1 alts, and in the case of the SW2 crew, Kuno and Goemon, new costumes.
