Or the fact these were just taken out for the use of this game.
That's true! Those features could have been in WO2. It would make prof. grinding a lot less tedious especially the choice of using any characters on Dramatic mode.

Well, I was only talking about gods. I have nothing against demons ^_^ .

With PS3, I'm expecting KOEI to make original WO story even better and more exciting. How about some CGI cutscenes between stages? Those dialogue scenes are just... sigh, it's just impossible to describe how ridiculous they are. Imagine of Kessen 3 had featured dialogues instead if cutscenes. You should get the picture >_>.
YES. With that much space on the Blu-Ray disc (25GB or 50GB), I'm pretty sure they can do that :XD though I won't expect much, more scenes would be nice ^^.

I'm pretty psyched Benkei is in (I so called that! ) You can't have Yoshitsune without Benkei in! :hehe: Imagine if he carried like a bunch of weapons on his back (like the legend), would be pretty cool ^_^

Any guesses of the Chinese character? I've honestly no idea XD

Hmm...

Well, with the game coming out this March, more likely, news of new stuff will be coming out much quicker.

It is possible that a new story mode in the game is either a prequel to WO2, or a sequel. I mean, money reasons aside, why would they make an anthology game instead of already working on WO3?

Yeah, would be great to have more cutscenes, especially fight scenes. I need another Zhao Yun/Yukimura Sanada scene, that one at Cheng Du in WO1 was way too short.

Oh and since this game is gonna be out after Jan 09 (obviously), it should support trophies :D

I wonder now though, how would the unlocking in the game be like

I don't think there will be new story! I guess it would be more likely to be extended story with more cutscenes to explain things in details. But don't expect anything too much, it's a Warriors game after all.

That's also true, but then, how will it explain the inclusion of Benkei and Mr or Ms #95? I think it would be wrong to just put them there in the already established WO2 story.

Also, now that I think about it, Prof grinding will be a bit more bearable this time due to the fact you have access to the WO1 stages as well.

They can add story to the black hole between WO1 and WO2. There is a big gap over there!

I seriously think it'll be the same graphics and stages as the 360 (doubt it'll be redesigned at all.) Just that dialogue and whatnot would've been taken out for this game. Its like what I said with how Yoshitsune met Lu Bu, and Benkei having something to do with it? For instance a stage before this with Benkei present would add one of those levels to Wu's possible storyline. So I think this will be the ultimate Orochi game in terms of making all much clearer and ''complete.'' :P

Yeah exactly that's what I meant before. The alternative is to make a prequel story to make events lead up to WO2.

Also, what could they possibly do for Dramatic Mode? Wouldn't it kinda ruin the whole effect of the thing if the non DW-SW characters have stages there as well?

I'm probably guessing they come in from the extra stages...and through the extra scenes perhaps. :o Although I really do hope they put Shin Orochi (refuse to say Orochi X XD) into more good use though ^^

And I hope proficiency griding is toned down XD and more costumes! and...oh I'm asking for too much

Yeah. More likely, this will fall along the lines of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. We can't expect too much since it's just a compilation game.

Then again, it IS on the PS3. Koei could surprise us...

How would they ruin it? Aren't all Dream mode stages fictional anyways?

And I just remembered... maybe we're also going to see how Lu Bu joined Orochi's forces. KOEI somehow managed to screw it up in WO2 by having Lu Bu suddenly pop up in Orochi's ending without explaining how he got there in the first place. What were they thinking  ?

Isn't the whole concept of the Dream Mode the chance to see various dream combinations of DW and SW characters?

Yeah. Lu Bu and Sima Yi are the only unaccounted characters for joining Orochi in the first place.

Maybe they were saving it for this! They must have a plan for his game before they even release WO2. I mean if they don't have plans, how could they release games at the rate they're doing?

God, this is why I realy hate Koei now. We dont want ANOTHER rehash. WO1 and WO2 should have been all one game and only on 360 and ps3 in the 1st place.

What's your POINT?

You talk like Koei and everyone should've been able to see years into the future, know EXACTLY what'll happen, and then change what they do for "better" results.

Do you see how stupid that is?

Do you know how stupid you look because you just get mad over my simple opinion? Either way, I see the WO series as the true death of the warriors games, not DW6 as so many see it. WO should have never happened. No need to get angry over one persons opinion because it doesnt affect yours at all unless it somehow changed yours. Oh, and they should have left it as the last hurrah for ps2, see what happened when they didnt?

It's not an opinion anymore when you say "we." I don't want you speaking for me with something I clearly don't agree with.

We got two fun games that many people enjoyed. What the HELL is wrong with that?

BTW, good job on being the first to insult the other person. Figured as much.
