If we're going to count DLC tracks, then sen -ikusa- because the anime opening was amazing (not the anime itself) and I was really happy to listen to nothing but that in SW4-II for the PS3. If not, then Naomasa - Faith. I seem to really like that one for some reason, it just sounds so cool. @w@ I don't have any particular opinion on any other tracks in the series, though. |

I see that people are discussing their favorite tracks off of soundtracks as opposed to the albums themselves (the soundtracks). If that's the case, then... SW2: -Anegawa -Mikatagahara -Kawanakajima -Nagashino -Odawara -Lightning Strike (Okehazama) -Raging Waves (Shikoku) -City of Flowers (In the Capital) Wait, which one is it? The soundtracks name the song City of Flowers, but on the game itself the song is listed as In the Capital. Well...which one is it? SW3: -Anegawa -Okehazama -Kawanakajima -Nagashino -Mikatagahara -Odawara I wish City of Flowers and Raging Waves had SW3 mixes (could have used some of the SW3 taiko drum inserts into it). SW4: -Honno-ji (Akechi). Something about that pipe organ. |

It's both, really. I tend to refer to City of Flowers most of the time, though, because it sounds cooler. |

I wish they would be a little bit more consistent... |

Anyways, it's going to take me some time to rebuild my soundtracks (since my previous 3TB hard drive failed, thus erasing 15 years worth of song scrounging). But if I do remember anything from the Dynasty Warriors side, they'll be: DW4: -Avenging Battle -Eve (Losing Battle) DW5: -Swordsman in the Plains (wish this was featured in Warriors Orochi) -Ancient Heroes (I get amped when the gong ensemble bridge starts) I regret to say I haven't listened to any of the DW soundtracks after 5, but I do recall some tracks playing on DW8: Empires with more traditional ensembles. |

SW1 Anegawa theme is the crap, man. The remixes after are pretty good, except for 4, too dubsteppy for me, but nothing beats the first one. |
