Hello All: Since this forum saved me from having a nervous breakdown yesterday, I thought I'd introduced myself and start a discussion to listen to your thoughts on the my questions regarding this game's difficulty. First of all my backgroud. I hate difficult games. I enjoy them more the easiear they are. That is completely personal. I have played through most of my adult life and at first (old PC games) I did not even try to play a game unless I could cheat outright. I have never played online nor do I want to. I'm strictly a single player guy. Also I'm a huge huge gundam fan, and I think I would not enjoy a warriors game as much if it did not have this theme. So much so that I bought the game twice (funny story behind that, has to do with DLC not working on my original phycal copy) and I play to buy DW3. Also yesterday was the day that I came across the las two missions of True Dynasty Warrior Scenario and found that if a mission is 8 stars you can't set it on easy, which was how I was playing the previous 100 hours of game (I'm going for 100% card unlock). Then someone here said use WZ EW and take potshots for the last mission and use destroy for the one before that one and I managed to beat them. Of course with a DG Cell enabled Riddhe. Now I understand Destroy (instant field clearing and really high SP genearation) for a mission full of red fields. But I thought the strategy that i used with WZ EW for the very final mission could have been done with any mobile suit that moves fast. So what was the advantage of using WZ EW, I don't know but I did beat it. Now here is what I don't understand. Why have two difficulties to begin with? I mean just the start would have been enougth and would have prepared for the final missions or I would have given up a lot sooner. Instead I went from no difficulty to impossible in two adjacent missions. And, if the two difficulties are a must why have be 8 stars the only exception? It makes no sense. It would have been a lot fairer to just be able to select the difficulty there as well so you get a nice ramp in difficulties instead of a fricking impossible wall. The second one is nitpicking, but why have DG Cells, which as far as I can tell i s the ONLY series specific ability on two random pilots???? I mean if you are going to do this, shouldn't these abilities be in Master Asia, Kyoji and/or Sharwtz??? The fact that these two pilots have them would have made it impossible to find them withouth the good people online telling me to actually look for them. Also. I didn' t use them that much yet, but is it me or is Musha way more powerfull that Musha MK2? One last thing, maybe it is because I didn't use them much or they don't have S Rank Plans yet, but I keep hearing that the DLC suits GP03 and GU FA are very very powerful. How? They are just as powerful (at least to me) as any other good suits witht the same stats, or at least they seem that way to me. Because a lot of people said that these suits trivialize the final missions but I don't see how. Well, that is all I would like to hear your thoughts on these things. Sorry for the long post. |
