Can anyone tell me how many stages are in this game maybe?
it's just that I brought SW4 - II and was kinda upset that it had a few missing stages that were in SW4 that wasn't in 4-II
and at this point I've brought about 4 games of the SW4 style saga of games

thx
Compared to 4-2, there is quite a Lot more Stages avaliable. while i cant say the exact number there are some stages that have more then one version.

For example i believe the battle of Mikatagahara has at least 3 different versions of it, which are 3 different stages. 1 in day, 1 at night, and the last chasing Ieyasu i believe.

there are some new stages too, but not really sure what. the game has alot more content available compared to 4-2 i can say that much for sure

but as Anton said i doubt anyone did a exact counting of the number of stages there are in this game. but probably alot more then 4-2 and maybe the normal SW4

I think you are more likely to enjoy this one better then Samurai Warriors 4-2. as this not only has all the characters from Normal 4 + Naomasa Ii. but has Chacha, Sasuke, Masayuki, and Older yukimura. and i guess Hidetada/Hideyori. so not only does it have a lot of stages but a bunch of new characters. and some new mechanics too.

I myself pre-ordered the game because based on what i seen its one of the best games Koei-Tecmo has made.

I'm glad that this got a physical release in the west after all. I was kinda irritated (but not surprised) that my local game retailer store once again completely screws up the game's information section as the only trailer there is from Samurai Warriors Chronicles and the only screenshot just shows an overview of the city  This is not as bad what happened with another SW game before, they had a trailer of Sengoku Basara for the game which even says that in the preview image, meaning they didn't even bother to fix the problem that they must have noticed :XD

Can songs and costume dlc be transferred to this game from previous SW4 gen games? And is this game worse or better than 4-II in terms of content and storyline.
Seems like someone has added a story page to Koei wiki but it's not fully complete so if someone has a more complete translated guide, can i see one please? http://koei.wikia.com/wiki/Samurai_Warriors%3A_Spirit_of_Sanada%2FStory_Mode

it's better i guess? SW4-II only has 1 new character, this has 4, 6 if you count the 2 CAW's

the music is superior to SW4 and 4-II

as for the storyline, it has 1 main story and a plethora of side missions, but it seems pretty long since it spans from Childood to the death of Yukimura, 4-II has more main stories and involves almost all playable characters

this game doesn't have CAW IIRC? 4-II have CAW

Haha i have heard the soundtrack and a lot of it seems far more dramatic and intense than previous games which i did like. However, by songs and costumes, i meant DLC ones, can they be played onto this game like 4's were compatible with 4-II? Sorry for the misunderstanding.

As far as DLC costumes and Songs go from what I know. None of the DLC Costumes/Songs from 4, 4-2, and 4: Empires can be transferred to this game. thus the only DLC costumes useable are the DLC for this game. like the Sanada themed costumes for Chacha, Ina, Kai, and Kunoichi (which are pre-order). or the NHK Drama DLC costumes for Masayuki, Yukimura, Nobuyuki, Ina, Tadakatsu.

Oh, that's a shame. Thank you for that but who's Naihi Takanashi? He appears everywhere from what i've seen on Japanese footage. Was he real or a made up character?

Naiki Takanashi was the father of Yukimura's second wife/aging concubine Uneme. Yukimura married Uneme after marrying his first and legal wife Hotta Sakubei's sister and way before Akihime.

Uneme and Hotta's sister along with Akihime appear in the Taiga: Uneme is called Kiri, Hotta's sister sister is called Ume and Akihime is called Haru.

Uneme was a relative of Yukimura by the way since Naiki Takanashi was a relative of Nobuyuki's first wife and cousin (Sanada Nobutsuna's daughter).

Both Hotta's sister and Uneme were in Yukimura's age group. Apparently Hotta's sister was three years older than him according to some sources.

Shortly before Sekigahara Yukimura married Yoshitsugu's teen/kid daughter/sister/niece Akihime. Akihime wasn't the legal wife at first however got the title by giving birth to Daisuke. Daisuke is thus considered legal.

Both Hotta and Takanashi died during the Siege along with Akihime's Brother Yoshiharu and Akihime's son Daisuke.

Both Hotta and Takanashi are just NPCs as an inside joke (if you know about Yukimura's youth) along with Hotta's sister. They don't add to the story.

man, i'm kind of bummed Koei is so lazy they didn't even make makeshift characters for the rest of the CAW weapons, they could've made Chiyome with those elemental dual fangs(they could literally copy-paste her from SW4E design wise), then it's just a character for the odachi/rifle(they could just throw that to hideyori anyway) and naginata movesets, uuughhh

Well given how most expansions usually only add 5 characters. those were unlikely to happen. I not sure how many would of been fans of that anyway if Chiyome and Hideyori were added i think the fanbases of both Japan and the West would prefer a Unique weapon not a Generic one. Hell people still bitch about Katsuyori and Hidetada's weapons or them being generic design wise (and personally i prefer this Hidetada over fat Hidetada)

SW5 would hopefully add Hideyori, Chiyome, Matsu Maeda, and few other worthy adds (even if Hideyori is only in like one battle he still majorly important)

though personally i have no issues with the CAW weapons

For a game that's reportedly to be released on Steam it sure is lacking a Steam page, isn't it?

Just pre-ordered this from Amazon, got the Prime discount as well :ph43r:

Between this and SW4-II, I should be good with Musou games for at least the next year and a half  considering the backlog I have now :|

I've stayed away from watching videos of the game, and pretty much haven't bothered to remember all the details about the game, so it should be a fresh beginning for me ^_^

Same .

I think I will invest a lot of time in this game and maybe get the trophies of the game ? This will be the first Warriors game that I play in 2017 ,haven't gone back to any Warriors game recently , so I can enjoy this game more .

I've refrained myself from watching the cutscenes of the game too, as I may still get this game eventually. Probably not just when it's released, as I've had my fill of samurai stuff from excessively playing Nioh  I'll probably pick this up after summer or something.

Do the kids have fully fleshed out movesets? Also are there any new gameplay mechanics in this game previous SW4 games didn't have? Really looking forward to this game. The more personal take on the story looks really fun.

I don't think the kid versions of characters are available to use in battle. They're only for wandering around the town and doing side-quests (?) or something. Actually I'm not sure... maybe someone can verify it.
