Samurai Bash Warriors?

KT did managed to have a more interesting concepts of minigames inSW1 and XL, and to some extent, WO2/Maou Sairin, but alas those were all but forgotten

I wish vs modes could come back, those were so fun. It'd be great if they could make them online too.

As a gay guy some fan pandering of scantly clad men are always appreciated, though honestly I would love to see more masculine men in little clothing. Huang Gai in DW8 for example! Or Meng Huo from DW6 👄✨💖

or hell even Meng Huo from DW8, I am not ashamed to admit I love heavy set guys and Meng Huo is just

Zhurong doesn't deserve him I'm just laying that out on the table right now.
I'm sorry for going so off topic just tossing out that Male Fanservice is always appreciated in a market where its usually 90% jiggling ass 'n tiddies.
I am bumping this post on every page because 1.) it is a very important message and 2.) I know that both Fuuma and Eni really enjoyed this post so I want to make sure that it stays relevant to the thread. :)

Also Meng Huo is always relevant to any topic.

I feel like they should bring back Sugoroku but JUST make it a board game. KH BBS did board games the right way with their command board idea. They added a pure board game with no minigames or any nonsense. It was just good old fun, and it also provided rewards which you could use in the main game.

If Samurai Warriors did something like that and also added in online multiplayer, they'd be gold.

hmm, on top of my head the "vs mode" where you and another player/CPU fight grunts/keep them away from your "goal", each enemy that made it to the goal adds a score to the opponent side, and each grunt you killed on your side appears on the opponent side as enemies, and depending on how good you play you can even chug giant tanks and spawn Lu Bu to annoy your opponent so that even more grunts will pass thru the goal while they are busy fighting bosses

there's also a minigame where you can fight using just the wacko rides that SW1 had IIRC(spear cannon, Tokugawa Cannon Bikes, Matsukaze, etc.)

the CAW challenges were pretty fun too, SW1 is the only time where DEFLECTING BULLETS actually felt cool and really mattered and the only time the Musou attack slowdown actually does something relevant

The CAW challenges were total bullshit, man. I don't think anyone really wanted to go through all that just to get access to a freaking CAW, specially since you can't put him in the clan you want if you're not good in the minigames for that clan. Its totally stupid.

I don't think Osaka will be one stage anymore. Considering this game went out of its way to add Chacha and focus on the Sanadas, as well as give Yukimura an older design explicitly for the Osaka campaign, I'm pretty sure we will see multiple Osaka battles.

The most recent SW chronicles game divided Osaka up into Winter and Summer. However, I think they're going to divvy it up even further in this game. I think we'll see specific battles of both campaigns. Osaka might be anywhere from 3-5 stages.

Ah right, i miss the time when minigame actually felt innovative AND also included in the main game. Especially Sugoroku................... Nowadays, even if they bring it back, they would just make it a cheap spinoff to milk money.

Just like how a lot of XL stuffs are stuffs that would have been in the main game back in PS2 days.
I was kinda surprised SW4 contain CAW and Chronicle mode. DW already cut that kind of stuff completely to Empire games.

I once said that to me Muramatsu would look good using Oichi's old Cup and Ball weapon as her own should she be playable. Since shes confirmed to be an NPC I did a thing out of boredom and sure enough, I was right

It DOES look good with her, I could easily see her using this weapon.

Hey, hey, listen! I didn't intentionally stir up any trouble! :oran: I didn't mean to say fujoshi itself was a derogatory term, but that it could be used negatively- essentially, like "those otaku ewww" or "those fangirls ewww". The main point of my post was that those women into pop history (and thus who like nice looking boys for themselves) and those into slash ships )and thus like nice looking men to shove together) are a major subsection of the Koei fanbase. That much is evident when you look at the doujinshi and fanart culture around the series- there's a ton more fan media focused on the men and their relationships than anything to do with the women, which isn't always the case in terms of, say, shonen anime that feature more male than female characters. So, to rise your nose at their tastes with disrespect seems to be... I don't know, ungrateful? Disrespectful to fans who, ultimately, have no real control over the series outside of their yen, but have proven to be a profitable fanbase and thus are pandered to?

I guarantee you, if the otaku waifu crowd (no offense meant here) bought up Musou products we'd be seeing a lot more Gracia and Naotora merch and more cute girls in the series. And if the serious history buff crowd were the main buyers, then we'd see a lot more serious historical interpretations in regards to appearances rather than stretches of truth.

I do appreciate any corrections to anything incorrect in my posts however.

On topic...
Muramatsu does look nice with the cup and ball. She's the Sanada Bros. ELDER sister though so I'm not sure how appropriate it'd be, but it's certainly a solution.

I dunno, I just got this mental image in my head of her using it as a toy when they're all children, then this scenario of Yukimura and Nobuyuki being teased by older kids happened and Muramatsu used her toy to whop their butts. you know, being the protective elder sister who watches out for her brothers. And growing up she just sorta became more badass with it.

Like Yukimuras got his bad ass spear, Nobuyuki has his cool switch sword. However they both get tense and nervous when they see Muramatsu walking onto the battlefield with her toy.

Everyone laughs and mocks her acting like she cant do much, but they know. Oh they know what she can do with it, and the fear the upcoming bloodbath that will happen when their older sister when she takes to the battlefield. lol

I'd rather the cup and ball go to one of Oichi's daughters. A passing of the torch type of thing if you will. It'd make for some nice extra dialogue.

I don't think they'd add the Cup and Ball again. They don't seem to want to recycle movesets in SW.

which is a shame because the Cup and Ball, and the Twin Wood Swords, were some of my fav weapons in SW1. I even bought the digital release of the PSP game with the SW1 setting so I could play as Masemune with that moveset again. Was so fun ...

I wonder if its still on PSN ...
also, derp question but: Do you guys think that the DLC costumes from SW4/4-II, and 4:E will be compatible with Sanada Maru? So far theyve done a good job with making DLC costumes be compatible across mutliple games like that before. Would help make Sanada Maru more fun if those costumes did appear.

So I stayed away from this thread for a week and the Official Site shows Older Nobuyuki and I couldn't be happier. He looks like a man.

I'm a little disappointed that they turned Hidetada into a pretty boy, I quite liked his assholeness in the anime as he was the only thing in that anime worth watching.

Well, his description sais that he is a "pompous cynic", so I'm pretty sure he still will be not the most pleasant person around.

His face looks nothing like Cao Pi's, he wasn't shown in game for anyone to see his atitude, he uses a generic katana (not even close) and his father is not similar to Cao Cao in any way, shape or form.

Blade is almost blue generic looks far different than the other Katanas blade more like the CAW sword and gun guess we can say mitsuhide weapon is generic too would not be surprised if he has ice or lighting attacks he is described as arrogant ambitious etc.

His father is the leader of the Tokugawa he is his heir and son cao pi son of cao cao leader of Wei

Hidetada new design is similar to cao pi his attitude is similarly to cao pi

Sorry but he is the cao pi of SW some of you guys claim Nobunaga is like cao cao

If they added this guy in warriors orochi with that design I bet u your soul him and cao pi be talking to each other

I'm just replying because, after reading I just remind Dave Chappelle's Clayton Bigsby saying.

"Sir, there's no way, shape or form ..."
