Now, this idea popped out on my head after playing lots of Civilization 5 lately. What if KT do some kind of Civilization Warriors or make their own IP where historical leaders/figures in every era come together in a Warriors Orochi-like fashion? The key idea is that you get to play as the iconic leaders/warriors that represents their home country/culture/civilization. Rather than just focus on one specific era/theme, have everyone of different civs fight or join with each other.

Before you say 'but some of them never fight or are a badass like that', remember it's KT. They can turn anything from money bags to compass into a weapon so anything's possible. Heck, may as well take their civilization's unique military units and show it off as their moveset in a command fashion like Chen Gong's scroll.

If we plan to go around 13 to 16 playables the initial cast IMO would be like this:

- Abraham Lincoln/George Washington (America)
- Genghis Khan (Mongols)
- Alexander the Great/Achilles (Greece)
- Joan of Arc/Napoleon (France)
- Saladin (Arabia)
- Wu Zeitan/Qin Shi Huangdi (China)
- Augustus Caesar (Rome)
- Montezuma (Aztec)
- Zulus (Shaka)
- Atila the Hun (Huns)
- Peter the Great/Catherine (Russia)
- Victoria/Elizabeth/Winston Churchill (England)
- leyasu Tokugawa/Meiji/Nobunaga (Japan)
- Gandhi, because why not. Otherwise Chandragupta (India)
- Cleopatra/Ramesess II (Egypt)
- Philip II (Spain)
- Gajah Mada (Indonesia/Majapahit)
- OC that is like a time traveller/historian

Suggest any country/civilization and their leaders as you like as well as how their moveset will represent their origins of place well. Thoughts?

Lincoln: Something like Magoichi's rifle moveset
Genghis Khan: Archery moveset, and good on horseback
Alexander the Great: Something like Wen Yang's javelin
Joan of Arc already has a moveset
Napoleon: Something like Date Masamune's pistol and sword moveset
Saladin: An Arabic sabre, and calls a camel to ride instead of horse
Qin Shihuang: Something like Cao Cao's sword moveset
Caesar: a Xing Cai-esque sword and shield moveset
Wu Zetian: Flowing robes, like Sanzang's moveset from WO
Montezuma: An obsidian sword, maybe dual wield for some variety
Zulu: Spear moveset, can throw sometimes like Wen Yang
Attila the Hun: Horsemen's mace, bonus on horse
Peter the Great: Dual pistols
Catherine: A musical instrument, like Zhen Ji's flute
Victoria: Her folding fan
Churchill: A tommy gun, akin to Guo Huai, but with longer range
Gandhi: His walking stick, akin to Pang Tong's DW5 moveset
Cleopatra: Utilizes a lot of snakes
Ramsesses: A spear of some sort, calls a chariot that bowls enemies over
Phillip II: A rapier like Liu Shan
Gajah Mada: an alternate bow moveset, like Zhu Ran?

OC: A crossbow and a two handed sword

God dang it that's already an A+ creativity lmao. I'm impressed.

I love the idea Gandhi gets a Pang Tong kind of moveset because he does seem like the 'old sage' kinda guy. Saladin with a camel is interesting since we only got bears, horses and elephants. Gajah Mada could be more like Ding Feng personality-wise since he's artistic but he would more likely wield a Kris (a bent-shaped like sword).

Also Cleopatra with snakes? Dayum. :XD

Thanks

I admit I don't know much about Gajah but I thought I didn't want too many sword based movesets.

The snakes one should be pretty fun
Oh, and Churchill should call a WW2 jeep where you can fire machine guns

Want the best part? Koei actually has designs for a good chunk of those characters in Uncharted Waters series, whether UWV or UWO.

Extella did have a few redeeming qulities, but it wasn't a good game, to be honest.

Huuuuh? Why so? It looks like a Musou game I may pickup. .w.
1. Maps. Instead one singular territory, map is divided on a number of small territories. You have to jump between them, which makes the game very tedious.
2. If you lose most of your territories on the map - you will lose. The problem is - allied AI is absolutely incompetent, and lose very quickly, so most of the time instead of enjoying the game, you frantically jumping around the bases, defending them, and conquering enemy bases in between. Oh, and the enemy always attacks your territories, while your forces just staying on the same place, unless it's scripted.
3. Enemies - aside from playable characters, you fight the same looking ugly non-humanoid mass of pixels over and over again.
4. A little more minor gripe, but in the main story you play only as three characters (though you can change it to six, if you install "Change" ability to your clothes). Rest are for side-stories, which consists of fighting the same battles, but with unique intro and outro for the characters.
5. Movesetes aren't very fun. The only one that I found really fun to use is Cu Chulainn and Emiya (though I still haven't played as everyone, so theremight some other hidden gem).
6. Characters won't shut up. And I'm not talking about unique dialogues an battle, no. It's "our territory is under attack, go help our allies" every minute. It doesn't matter if you're protecting other territory, or conquering an important territory of the enemy forces. They will spam you with messages till the base will fall and then will scream about next one.

Now for the good part: 1. Story is solid. But remember - it's a third game in the series. First two were RPGs, with one being Japan-only. It's not VERY critical - you'll get most of the staff anyway, but it's still noticable.
2. Voice acting is great, especially Altera's one.

EXTELLA Link is an upcoming sequel to Fate/Extella, so let's see if they'll adress at least some of my problems with the game.

I think I would take George Washington over Lincoln, with his cherry tree axe.

Posted Image

Just give him a pike-movement but with an axe instead (since it's kinda short like a short pike) and have him chop down falling trees and logs as his moveset and Musou attacks. Perfect. :hehe:

Just include Alexander Nevsky and I'd get this game in a heart beat.
