hey guys.

as some of you know, i just bought a new ninja pc.

yeah it kicks ass.
but thats not the point of the topic.
when i installed everything all worked great.
for example.
css ran briliantly
1600*1200 @ 120hz
every graphic option on full (execpt hdr)
and on dust2 averaged around 180fps.
yeah i know this is good. well great.

but i decided to do the right thing and update all the drivers.
afterwoods the diference was another 50fps
averaging around 230 on d2

i know i have a kickass ****clean and fresh**** system with no other programs or badwares or bad registry to slow me down
but yeah.

i just thought it might be worth everyones while to remind them to update their drivers and say it really does make an improvement

i manage to get about 130fps solid on d2 with all gfx max @ 1024x768 and about 270 on blood

yeah, i was really hoping to sell me 7600gt when the g80 cards came out. (native dx10)
but the are going for $700 plus. and with fps like that. i cant see the point

corsair ram 2gb: 400
2x300gb hdd sata in raid 0: 300
thermaltake *cough* case: 150
seasonic 650W power supply: 250
7600gt video card 250

so around $2000
woah, thats alot. id never looked at it like that b4.

i could have skimped a bit. but when it starts to age. i wana be able to over clock the shit out of it. so i prob paid 30% more than i had to. but im got a much better machine, and it will last another few months when i oc

um already had g15 kb, g5 mouse, 24" moniter so saved there
