Yeezy Flair Tut By: Ren Inspiration GFX ![]() Images: West Texture This look can be achieved by using the pen tool and a simple light texture. I couldn’t find the exact pictures but if you find them use those instead. Create a new Canvas size 422 x 513 Fill with# 090104 Get Kanye and drag it to the canvas Desaturate it then downsize it. Lower the opacity to 54% so it has a dull look like this: ![]() Drag the light texture to the canvas and position it right above him. Set it to lighten. Use a soft brush and erase until you are satisfied with how it looks- keep in mind the original piece. The main focus of this piece is the abstract twirls of color that are above his head. To recreate this you need to use your pen tool. Ensure that your settings match these so that you will be able to draw twirly lines as you like ![]() By clicking, holding and dragging you can curve your lines in any angle that you like CTRL Click And you will lose the anchor points. You can draw another curvy line CTRL Click again Select a hard brush px 2/3 choose the color you want the line to be Create a New Layer then Right Click >> Stroke Path>>OK Do this for the different groups of lines…If you want three blue lines do the previous steps but put them on a new layer and stroke with blue [then right click and delete path]. For Orange do the above, create on a new layer and stroke with orange [then right click and delete path so that you don’t keep working on the same path. In the example below I did a lot of lines then stroked them with some of the colors used in the piece. Zodiac blue 00514f pink ff583e orange ff983d ![]() Add a glow to the lines. Double click on the layer or go to blend options. Select outer glow. ![]() Blend Mode: Screen opacity 75% Technique : Softer Spread: 6 Size: 6 Tip using the same color as the line or one close to or lighter than for the glow will help you get a look similar to the original piece. Keep doing the above until you achieve a look that you like. When you’re through Make a New Layer fill with #0c0108 set to lighten and with a size 300px brush gently erase to give life to the dead black background Lastly with a size 300px brush in a bright yellow color, click in the midst of the piece and set to overlay. Do the same but on a different spot with this color #78ff00 ![]() For a bit of drama -OPTIONAL- You can make a merged copy Ctrl A >>Shift Ctrl C>> Ctrl V Filter>> Blur>> Radial Blur>> Amount 27 Blur Method Spin Quality Best Erase the blur at certain points just to add a bit of fog? ![]() FIN |
