Hey, it may not be fully live yet with the materials not being implemented, but WOW. I really have to say to folks, we are lucky to have Ceremorph and any others involved in this update here. It's very very very cool. And very much in keeping with planescape. Each and every thing in the new materials and what can be done with them can be a new story in our roleplay. Every one of the things implemented has a very neat explaination in the crafting recipies of what the "new" planar material is and kinda why it is so cool. Maybe such doesn't really float your boat though, because you are a roleplaying purist. Well if you read this stuff, it's adding depth and fitting richness to the environment, that's why one should care. With this stuff out there in the hands of the baddies, it means that after a fashion, you won't be just finding another useless potion so often. You may as your character become a merchant of a valuable resource that you focus on finding, hoarding and trading. Why's that cool? Cause you can then be the "bloodiron" merchant, in sigil. It can give moody or scary backstory ideas about your hero's armor or weaponry, or even simply what thier drinking tankard is made of. An abyssal blood iron drinking flask? That's kinda macabre. Big Kudos to ya all, developers, staff!!!! |

What's been put in so far is the work 100% of Cere.

I'm glad there's been some consideration to bring around the SoZ interface but I'm curious... is there some trick to bringing the UI up? It simply appears to be a bag, and worse, it won't let any recipes out!Secondly, can we remove the undroppable/cursed attribute from the crafting books? I find it a little odd that we'd have to be 'stuck' with them. |

Read the announcement about it Guardian. Cere has (or will) update the recipies. First versions were set to stick in the books. If you buy the new versions they will work I believe as you expect. If you need to ditch your old books and recipies to fix the issue i think we can reimburse you. |
