Honestly i'm not the least bit annoyed with the way UMD is handled here, i'm just sad I didn't see it coming ;9

Also.. yep, here I go again with the BG server comparison... coming from there, the availability of powerfull loot, gold and xp is abit overwhelming.

There may not be immunity items, but the amount of items with feats on is staggering, also the amount of universal save items, cheap wands and low modifiers on dispel magic - which almost lets you acheive immunity anyway.
Tuqrox, the ogrillion - Dumb brute
Edvard Morner, the pureblood - Barmy egotistical antagonizer
Enoch, the human - Dustman rebuker
Bai' Dago Vixxor, the gnome - Planar scavenger
Agkistrodon, the halfblood - Doomguard aspirant

~Gruud the barbarian stands up~ To the afore mentioned illiteracy of barbarians in 3.5. Yes they are illiterate as a class if it is their starting class. Tho they can spend 2 skill points to attain literacy in all their known languages. Where this really hurt were Wondrous Tomes such as Manual of Bodily Health etc.

Styxwash - availability of save boosting items is probably higher than you imagined as well.

Don't know if you have tried the black market guy in under sigil village. Its the one place where you can find random items. Its usually shit, but can find you something quite nice, its all very random, but bonus to save items crop up with regularity.

I've noticed the guy and been told of the gambling thing, hehe. Nifty enough. though I don't feel like dumping cash on such quite yet and also as i've been informed, a max level char will yield better results.

I've already aquired myself three uni saves items with 3-4, so i'm getting the picture ;9

and all dorfs smell like schnapps..

oO...
you used a german word for it *is impressed*...
Schnapps is a german word, or does the english language have no name for it like it is with "Kindergarten" and "Lederhosen"
Actual played Characters:
Garen Aerthen: Citizen of "Death of Innocence", Mystic Theurge
Tinkeen: Kobold thief, beggar, Informant, delivery boy
Pyrian Flameborn: Young Fire Genasi searching for his heritage
Garvas: "Drow" Blackguard.
Iron Golem: Must obey....Master!
Liana: poor servant
Vincent Seiler: Artist/Musician "Ozzimandias the Jester"

this list is not complete in lenght

Isn't the actual german spelling "schnaps"?

Trying to remember back to high school german class...but all I can seem to recall is "schweinhund" and:

In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus:
Eins, zwei, g'suffa!

We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

Styxwash - we have/had a player (actually met him in RL) here who had a character with something like 1 million jink. He said he blew a large portion gambling. Can't remember whether he said it was with that merchant, or the one at the cage festival... and still complained he mainly got shit.

The thing is, when you get lucky, you can get really lucky.

I'm using 3 stolen items

A ring with 5 Uni save

Gloves with 4 Uni (and a lvl 4 wizard spell slot..)

A helmet With 2 Uni 3 Will and 5/acid

I spent around 200k in total on stolen items now, a vast majority of it at around 5k each and besides those 3 I've got a few lesser ones like 3-4 uni rings but sides that just junk really :P
