Not really, unless it's mainly RP choice in PnP too

Well coming from my Excel sheet, there really are only 1-2 characters of mine who can be deemed rediculous. I will however include Ordethus ((because he is pretty damn easy to break)) and Daevos ((Not a powerbuild per se, but end game is extremely effective once you get there.)) Skor: FS 21/ RDD 5/ Bard 2/ Cleric 2 Can ask shale/someuser how broke he is. Was already soloing Baator on him at lvl 14/15, abyss 18+. In the Campaign with full items, can easily get him to 80+AC and about the same AB wise, just a little less. Orionis: Bard 20/ BG 4/ RDD4/ EK 2 More of a concept build than anything, an analogue for a dirge. The RDD levels being a actual RP hook. Is an extremely good debuffer come later levels. Made the build in campaign first but made him here to RP him out. 80AC 55AB... I really need to start leveling him though. Ordethus: Warlock 30. May seem a bit stupid, people may go why not a splash of SD? I completely dislike the shadowdancer class and I completely refuse to abuse the 1 level dip into it. Regardless, 40AC without buffs, if I can get him fully geared + buffs, he will be quite a ways above 60AC. Is an eldritch blast snaring build, and counting eldritch mastery damage winds up at approximately 28d6. Daevos: Swashbuckler 26/ Cleric 1/ Blackguard 3 ((Not even close to getting him to 30. 11- 18 are being a complete bitch due to trouble finding groups.)) Simply listing here because the build takes having a big set in order to risk it. End-game can be pretty damn good for him. Can reach 80 AC+ endgame in the campaign. Wounding/Weakening Crit build with a 15-20 threat range ((Would be better if I used Weaponmaster but he is an RP build/Dread Pirate Analogue so the blackguard levels are needed.)) On top of that he has a weapon that deals con damage (and I intend to get better ones over time from the shady merchant.) High potential to kill things simply from CON damage. |

Back in NWN 1, my absolute favorite build was, let's see, 5 Druid/11 Shifter/24 Wizard. Buff myself to hell, change to Rak form, and drop level 24 maximized Ice Storms 2/round all day. Credit goes to SBully for that build. In NWN2, my most obnoxious build is Yew're Kiddunmeigh, 19 FS/1 Cl/1 Wiz/9 AA, with EDM. Buffed AB is +57, damage/round is ungodly. Second would be my 12 F/5 FB/7 WM/1 Ran. Ogre Falchion WeaponMaster. Fully tweaked he should be critting in the 250 range, with Falchion threat range, and unbuffed AB of +50. My best overall attempt with the Yuan-Ti halfbreed has been a 9 Cl/10 SL/5 FB EDM build. Solid buffs with 24 divine dmg. coming from EDM. Theorycrafting, it is my belief that the 8 Cl/10 SL/7 WM/5 FB specializing in the spear, is the singularly most devastating melee build in NWN. Because of the ruinous feat requirements, I've only been able to make them a human. |

Actually, as a matter of fact it does. If the spell is resolved by an attack roll, sneak attack can be applied to it. Unfortunately the nwn2 engine can't figure out how to do that, as it says in the nwn2 wiki. The relevent text is here:
So yeah in pnp arcane trickster is a properly mean class that can deliver some crushing damage along with disgusting status effects. Unfortunately here it's not so hot

Most obscene build i've actually played is an orog sorc 6/pale master 10/blackguard 3/eldritch knight 9. EDM, lvl 19 sorc caster lvl, stacks of immunities...that's the char I pull out when I have a day where I just want to hit things.... Two other obscene builds I came up with but never actually played are a shield dwarf with maxed Con, with a build of sorc 5/rdd 6/dwarven defender 10/fighter 9. 20 starting con, +7 from levels, +2 from RDD, +6 from items, including an ioun stone ring makes 40 total Con. Taking toughness and all the epic toughness feats ends in a build with 1082 HP if I've done the math properly. That's a lot of pain... The other really obnoxious build is to take an ogre, go max strength (28), strength bonus at all levels (+6 more), throw in 10 RDD (+8), two epic strength feats, +5 str gloves/belt and a ioun ring, and you have yourself a 50 str char, the max the engine can handle. Handy if you need to lift the bazaar to clean under it. For comparison, the tarrasque has a strength of 45... |

Partial Character List: Chardon: Mystic theurge lich. Devourer of souls and those little powdery mints people have at weddings. Akki Takki: Kobold rebuker. Raised as a petitioner in the court of Kurtulmak before fleeing. Opkfrumjotunn: Troll beserker. Planar mercenary. Az'kar: Bladeling assassin. Noms on his victims. Tyiedrni Pohuunrakihu: Skeletal minion of Chardon. Not much of a reader. Lorkata: Self proclaimed prophet of Chaos, Doomguard member. | |

At that I say Three Piggies and Big Bad Wolf build: Wizard(pig familiar)/Sorc(Pig familiar)/Druid(a bigger piggie companion)/Ranger(wolf compnaion) Actually did this on a different server and used to perform the tale every day in the server's main marketplace. Eventually people got tired and lynched the hell out of me for that. |

Part of it. There is a giant spreadsheet going on in my head when it determines the power of certain builds. It's on NWN2DB somewhere, or atleast, was, and I've made improvements to the concept since. . . but consumables, are the most powerful feature on Sigil. You have enough money, you can turn anyone into something almost unbeatable in any situation. After all, Drinking a potion only takes half a round, You can still cast a spell with it. Which translates to. = If not defeated, disabled in one round, You are healed to full. PnP wise. There are just far too many broken builds out there for me to begin describing. Such as a Sorcerer using the following spells: Arcane Fusion, Arcane Spellsurge, Heart of Stone, Greater Celerity, Celerity, Timestop. Cast in a specific order, multiple times. a Sorcerer can achieve 100ish (depending on spell slots available) rounds before you get one. - Not Timestopped actions. REAL actions, Where you can attack. "He who wins initiative, wins." At a certain power in PnP, and with things like Greater Celerity, A caster, always wins. |

Surprised noone has mentioned the Ranger 21/FB 5/X build yet. Combining Favoured Power Attack with FB Power Attack and Favoured enemies and bane of enemies.... its scary. If you want you can drop some ranger levels to try and squeeze in WM for more critical chance just to get more consistent high damage in a trade off for less damage when not critting. Its very tight on feats though. |
