Hi there, After looking about a bit (some 20 pages in fact since the search engine is disabled), I though I might just ask to see if some much more knowledgeable fellow might be able to answer my question? Is it possible to use the XP-craft system to change the belt appearances on chest slot armor to show the various dress options for female player characters? Actually, I suppose that question is a bit miss stated, because I know how to do that to the Xp-craft conversation and thus it is possible (and I also happen to know that the staff here is much, much more skilled at such things than I happen to be), so I guess the real questions is, is it enabled for SCoD and am I just not finding the correct "belted" piece of clothing to manipulate? Anyway, if someone might toss a bit of light on this extremely minor issue/question, it would be appreciated. Thanks |

I understand you meaning and last I knew the answer was no. If you are looking for a certain design that can't be made by the system you are allow to make a request to the staff for it. |

Its not available. The crafting system is a little tricky to modify and we have never got around to making the belt slot changes work. If you want a specific belt slot, and you know the exact values, then you could request a DM to make you one (if you can find a DM willing to do it that is), or we do have some pre-made items with specific belt slots on, so we can give those and then you just modify the rest of the model around it. We did have an number of these items for sale at the last cage carnivals... but that is closed now. But you seem to be saying you know how to make the change to make it work... so feel free to share it, and we may implement it. |

Getting to work is actually a matter of two things - one easy the other more of a pita The "easy" way is to assure that there are chest piece items with the "belt" check box selected. The next thing to do is to adjust the conversation that launches the scripts to add belts as an adjustable appearance. After that, well then it gets a bit more - adding the belt appearance references to the include script (just like the various other appearances) and then trouble shooting. When last I was messing with the attempt to "add belts" I had not figured out how to get the color change feature to work, so that still needs to be solved. Anyway, I'll take a look at my old files and see what I can find when I get a bit more free time and energy PS - adding something like this should be done, if at all, very carefully (aka not rushed) so as to not impact negatively on the server |

We have two QA (Quality Assurance) people who are responsible for breaking things submitted. They sometimes need a good whipping to get things done though Feel free to dig up your code and submit for review. Would be good to clearly comment your code changes though so we can easily *cough* merge with our modified scripts. |
