Bugs I've noticed as follows!

Noticed a slight problem with the examines of the Torus coins, they are listed as costing 2 jink effectively, however, you can buy 100 of them for only 102 jink! Wonderful if you like ripping people off but I don't believe this is the intention :P

Not said in the examine of the Acheron Steel Cubes how much they are worth in jink effectively, you can buy 10 for 51 jink, so I'm guessing 5 each?

Karn Scale-Rage = Let's feed the crows!
Van Darkholme = Feel the lash of the spanking! *whip noises*
Noramos Churston = Oh! That wasn't supposed to happen...
Shrub Conifer = Nature... Will rise against you!

Me alts got wiped so I'm making a new string of nut jobs. Enjoy!

If ever somebody needs help levelling, I always have a character in range... or delevellable.

Acheron steel cubes are worth approximately 5 gold, yes.

As for the Torus, their value varies, but that does sound like a bug. They should be worth 2gp within the City of Doors.

I think when the merchants were tweaked and the Gpv cap was raised to 300 gp, some things such as values were tweaked perhaps with coinage?

It's true that the toruses are supposed to be a given value, but I could swear it's around ONE gp, not two. Because the money changer wants to make a profit, he'll sell 100 of them for 102. His profit, 2gp as a moneychanger, right?

I'll look in game to see what's up.

Edit: So yeah, it does say it's worth 2 gp in Sigil, but only 5 silver pieces outside of Sigil, because it has less gold than normal - being donut shaped with a hole in the center. I'm guessing someone implementing this in game just averaged 5sp vale and 2gp, figured something in the middle would be best, putting it just like a normal gold coin, 1gp... only it's planar and you don't lose it in the Mortuary.

I think if this was to be implemented as it's stated, one should have to buy a stack of 100 sigil toruses for about 204 gold, or so, mebbe more, depending on the changer's rates. That'd be up to a dev to do the tweaking of this on one of the updates.

Glad to hear someone is using.

Ill take a look at the pricing on the Torus at some point. It may be that either myself or Rust (who created the coins, kudos to him) slipped up a little.

I think there should be some merchants in certain planar locations (where the particular coinage would be most found (Acheron cubes in Acheron, for ex.)) that sell useful items in exchange for that coinage instead of gold. This would, imo, make these more interesting to trade with. Nto to mention if sometimes the various coins would drop as loot...?

And an absoloute bitch to code for unless talking about very specific trades, eg: NPC has quest information for the PC that he will sell for 10 Archeron Cubes.

However, i have a project i'm working on at the moment, where an NPC accept jink or possibly a specific type of planar coin. Not fixed yet, but i'm definitely considering it.

Coins as loot drops... could be considered... hmmmm

Compared to selling some items to Shale for say... 300 gold, some of the coins are worth a lot more! Maybe just adding the cheaper coins in... like Sigil Mobius as a single drop on mobs rather than.... stacks of turds.

Because stacks of turds are worth shed loads of gold...

I see the problem now. When setting item values you have two fields.

Additional Cost and Base Cost.

Base cost is the calculated value of the item. You then use Additional cost to modify the price.

The base cost was set to 1, so I (or Rust) set Additional Cost to also be 1, therefore total 2.

However, there is a catch that I had almost forgotten about.

The value of Base Cost, while in the toolset is displayed as an interger (ie: a round/whole number) it is actually a floating point value that is rounded up. So even if its value is 0.001, it displays as 1. When working with small values it can become really noticeable. I'd guess if the stack size was set to something like 10000 then you would be able to note a small value discrepancy in the price of the item.

So, what i need to do is set the Additional cost to 2 and that should fix this issue.... and i probably need to check all the other coins as well, because they all probably suffer from the same issue.
