Here are the changes made today:

Features

  • Most touch spells can now apply sneak attacks based on class levels from classes that can sneak. It does not apply to spells from wands/scrolls, only from actual spells cast naturally. Some spells were deliberately left out - all healing spells, Harm, and Avasculate. Usual sneak restrictions apply. Its not perfect, feint or impromptu sneak do not enable the spells to sneak. But its best we can achieve. Full details will be provided later on the guides and information sections.

  • All craftable ammo/throwing weapons now provide 3 stacks instead of 1, making crafting such items a lot more cost effective.

  • Some craftable ammo, which had bonus damage of type piercing, has been changed to be additional damage slashing (due to an engine problem with bonus damage of same type). This is a trial change and may be subject to further revision.

  • Faction NPCs are now time based summons instead of point based. You do not need faction points to summon. Instead there is a time lock. The higher your faction rank, the less time between summons. This is currently experimental and subject to revision. Bug noted - timer doesn't appear to work, summon how often you want. Will produce fix
Cosmetic

  • OOC Room updated for Crimbo! - Error: start point not changed. Next update. - Error in error: new quick update to add it anyways.
Bug fixes

  • The recent changes to bard summons introduced an error whereby using summons from items would summon a pig. This should now be fixed.
  • Scrolls in Temple of Abyss now cost correct amount. They were vastly underpriced before. Apparently new bug introduced, back entrance to the Temple of Abyss now not working.
