Talk like a poirate day is another 9 days away, ya scurvy lil' landlubber.
"From the realms below we ride,
And in terror they run and hide,
From the shadows of old we rise,
Awakened, from the dark!

Over the ancient ruins we fly,
Where the old kings go to die,
And the new kingdoms rising high,
Awakened, from the dark, dark slumber!"

Hehe... I remember you mentioning that. Well, say goodbye to 20 consecutive losing seasons. That is a record that will never be broken.

Except in 2034.
You would think rooting for Darwin in EMS would be tricky.

It's not.

Just a shame they ran into the wrong team, Ravel.

Needed to win game four.

Still, they played the Cards to a season tie, I think, and that only thanks to a Starling Martee drop in left field. I thought they had a better shot against SL than against Atlanta or LA.

Wacka and Wainwright were both amazing. Wainwright especially looked unhittable.

I'm rooting for a Tigers-Cards World Series now.

Postseason's a different place; most of the Pirates players were small children the last time that team was involved in postseason baseball, while even some of the Cardinals' youngsters (Kelly, Rosenthal) were playing in the NLCS last year. You're always going to have an edge if you're used to the unrelenting pressure, while your opponent is used to spending every game after July ends playing the role of spoiler.

But hey, anything works as long as Boston doesn't get to win.
