Since it had to be made...

Agony edit: Going through these marking off which i've got fixes for. Doesn't mean at this stage fix is in game, just fixed (or possible fix) on development box.


Unfixed bugs/issues:

  • Trolls - vulnerability to Fire and Acid?
  • Death Knights, the camera acted as if I was playing a halfling/gnome, aka centered around the character's crotch.
  • Construct DRs wrong?
  • Efreet fire VFX?
  • Succubus change appearance ability?
  • Kemo chairs not working with human base races
  • Nymphs won't kiss anyone
  • DCs on some feats (vamp gaze) seem to be inconsistent.
  • Werewolf hybrid form - model/weapon wield issue.
Fixed (hopefully) bugs/issues:

  • Myconid spores - DC issue and no feedback on 60 second save. - fixed?
  • Black Sapphire Angel - PKing?
  • Hezrou missing stench
  • No manual Dexterity + Barb Ancestral Weapon = Problem
  • Pixie darts have value! Also don't seem to be putting things to sleep.
  • Gargoyles - model issues with wielding weapons/shields
  • Vampire Bite, still not working. - fixed?
  • Varoius problems with creature weapons including gloves, scaling, damage, and monk levels. - temp fix made
  • Quick to Master does not seem to grant the level 1 bonus feat AA: Confirmed, may have to remove it. - missing entry.
  • Vampire's Dark humanoid form turns you to gaseous forms and there is no way to turn back. The gaseous form button turns you into a hell hound, but at least you can turn back to normal. AA: Worked fine for me - correction - its an issue with the female form, male form is fine.... however, gaseous form turned me into a hellhoud. - possible fix for gaseous form.
  • Vampire - Confirned about spellcasting using quickcast, think this is because doesn't have right appearance... but will make the fix work differently so its not appearance dependent. - decided to simply close this exploit once and for all. Disabled quickcast menu.
  • Colouration for Succubus model incorrect. (EDIT by Tomekk: Have you checked out all the colors? Half Dragon for example uses eye color for neckline and eyebrow for the decorative horns/scales) - nothing to do about it.
  • Both male and female pixies listed as male. - 2da incorrect value - fixed.
  • Efreet's wall of fire does no damage (atleast at level 1) - incorrect reference, possibly fixed.
  • In gaseous form vampire can still cast spells exploit closed
  • Vampire's blood drain doesn't work AA: Confirmed, looks like i borked a conditional. - fixed, missing break in case statement.
  • Paelyrion is a Devil, not Demon - fixed
  • Ghouls have no disease and paralysis attacks (occasionally?) - worked fine for me, could have been lag issue on character creation.
  • Vampire doesn't get +4 dexterity at creation, only +2 - fixed
  • Nymph's Unearthly Grace decreases AC, instead of increasing AA: Looks like at least partially a character sheet error but something strange. - made supernatural effect, at least should no longer keep removing/reapplying.
  • Nymph Kiss doesn't allow targetting enemies. Succy kiss should also be checked then. - incorrect targetting value in spells.2da - fixed.
  • Baby dragons' hitbox is too large - AA: and selection circle! Also colours - none blue shades available. Restrict. - possibly fix
  • Vampire hair colours, strange selection, must be error in their colour 2da. - fixed
  • Eladrin having Paladin as Favoured Class - can't be lore accurate, even though they have paladin type abilities in lore. - Fixed, set to Fighter
  • Check Githzerai LA text. - that and others fixed
  • Hound Archons do not get Celestial for free - still an issue - fixed, found the issue and it solves the issue for all celestials/infernals.
  • Trolls aren't listed as Large in character description (they can still dual-wield greatswords so its just a descriptive error) - changed
  • Eladrin Globe does not apply VFX. - fixed, was a typo
  • Efreet should be bigger to reflect their large size. - done
  • Hound archon is large, should be medium - done, requires rebuild
  • Vamp Female Dark form no appearance. - possible fix. - no fix possible. Changing to polymorph.
  • Harm not castable on self as undead - fixed
  • Consider undead CON penalty. - considered. Penality remains at -5 but they will get a +5 CON item on creation.

Ah... thats intersting, didn't notice that. Could be its hardcoded so i may have to change it somehow.

Oh my vampire didn't get quick to master either despite being a human base. I thought that was intentional though. if not it is a bug.

Please note that I have not played much with the new races added to the server on 07/06/2014, but I have noticed two minor issues so far.

1) The options for colouration on the Succubus model are not quite right. For instance when I try to change the model's Eye Colour its Hair Colour changes instead.

2) Under the Fey category of races the Both the Male and Female Pixies are labeled "Pixie (male)"

I will go tool around with those more and see what I can find...

Oh, I have also only been able to change the colour of the Heads on the Gnoll, and Succubi models rather than their whole skin/fur. Is that intended?

Thanks for reporting these.

Can't do much with model colouring because its mainly fixed by whoever created the model. So some things are going to be strange or just not changeable. I may fix those that can't be changed to not have options, i did this with some races already.

Succubus will just have to be as it is, can't change that.

Racial Features for Gnolls are listed as follows in the 3.5 Monster Manual:
Strength +4
Constitution +2
Intelligence –2
Charisma –2
—Size Medium.
—A gnoll’s base land speed is 30 feet.
—Darkvision out to 60 feet.
—Racial Feats: A gnoll’s humanoid levels give it one feat. (Note: Just like the free feat a human and Strongheart Halfling get)
— +1 natural armor bonus.
—Level adjustment +1.

But the character creator both does not have the bonus feat, and lists them as a Level Adjustment of +2.

That is an older, much debated race. And it doesn't have the level 1 feat because you don't start with 1 level of Monstrous Humanoid, you gain the same feat on your first class level.

Not sure what he means either but Gnoll has been on the server for a long time, wasn't my doing.

I think it was taken from the Races of Faerun pack, so i guess we simply took whatever they had, and if there are errors then nobody has reported before. Not my priority to fix it at this point, but ill keep it in mind while im going through the other bugs.

Could it be the correct stats for Thayan Gnoll considering the source? (not got time to check right now).

All the Thayan materials I have been using only really cover the personality/behaviors distinctions between common Gnolls and those in the employ of Thay. The stats are straight from MM 3.5 page 130 - 131 (bottom right hand of the page), which only specify that they are the stats for "Gnolls as Characters" with no mention of Thay in that write up.

This is not an ideal version of it, but here is a link to a black and white PDF of the text:

Gnoll would normally have 2 levels of Monstrous Humanoid for starters. It doesn't. The 1 feat comes from the first level, but since the gnoll starts at level 2 due to his HD, he already has that.

Remove those monstrous levels, and you gain the same feat at level 1.

The Efreet's Wall of Fire (at least as far as I have tested it at level 1) does no damage to creatures passing through it.
