Regarding alignment restrictions for undead

I know that. I guess that post had more relevance in my head, though, sorry.

Back on topic for me, though! Succubi are receiving the Scent quality instead of DR 10/Cold Iron. I raised the issue, but I forgot to also throw that in here.

Otherwise Agony will return from vacation and start chopping off tentacles.

Can I have one?

Regarding alignment restrictions for undead, people should remember that it's possible to act outside of your alignment. Undead are always (with very rare exceptions, such as archliches and baelnorns) evil by nature. You can force yourself to act outside of your nature, however. If you're intelligent, you can choose to defy that nature, you have the choice. But it's not exactly easy or pleasant to force yourself away from what your nature is.

Chaotic good lich is possible. Good liches are described in libris mortis.

Undead are also rigid in their thinking. They're unchanging. However, awakening might alter that a bit.

can i add attack bonuses to the list. for those creatures with natural attacks. none of the combat feats apply to them, such as finess or a form of weapon focus. other than that the large sizes get a -1 to their attacks

Have you checked the combat log? Character sheet is a filthy liar with creature weapons.
"From the realms below we ride,
And in terror they run and hide,
From the shadows of old we rise,
Awakened, from the dark!

Over the ancient ruins we fly,
Where the old kings go to die,
And the new kingdoms rising high,
Awakened, from the dark, dark slumber!"

Cannot see the AFK tag on a beholder character.

I am unsure if I am unable to set my AFK tag while playing a Beholder, or if the tag is just lost in the giant head that is the model for that critter, but the end result is the same.

Probably a model thing. Don't think can do anything about this. Also probably affects other races as well.

Erm... wow. Thats annoying, since it would mean a large HAK update to pull it.

Don't use it... hell, wasn't even aware they had more than 1 head.

The description on the Eye of Wounding racial ability for the Beholder reads that it does 1D8 +1 damage a level.

Originally I read that as doing 1d8 + (1*Character level). If that was the intended math behind it then it is not working properly as my level 7 Beholder is belting out about 25 - 35 damage every 3 rounds with that.

If it was meant to be ((1d8+1)*Character level) then that damage might be more accurate.

Thanks. Indeed, the description is incorrect.

Correct formula for damage is: (d8(iLevels)+iLevels)/2 - no idea why, that was actually a script that was already provided for beholders, i went with it.

So for a level 7 beholder, average damage should be 7d8 + 7 / 2 which is 31.5, seems to match what you were saying.

I've raised an issue to fix the description.

Reading the section on Level Adjustment for Half Dragons and noted it starts out talking about Half-Dragons being LA +3, but then switches to describing how Gargoyles take longer to reach level 2 than most characters.

Heh, surprised there were not more of those due to copy/paste.

Thanks for noting.
