Hello! I haven't been around on this game for about six years, but I remembered in the course of rediscovering NWN2 that there were no good item appearance editors around. That led me to think about this place, which had (and still has!) a good item appearance editor in the forms of the Mirror of Vanity and the Mirror of Illusion. I checked in on the IRC channel not long ago to see if anyone knew what the source of the mirror was and if anyone knew where to find it? I'd like to utilize it for some of my own personal stuff without having to resort to Charlie's Appearance Modifier, which is lacking in comparison. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you for your time! Bladeron Formerly Baris Gein |

Bladeron, our appearance changers are an extremely modified version of a script that's been lurking around the NWN2 community since at least 2009, called the Echelos Esthetic Crafter, and making use of a script called nwnx_craft. I don't know that it was ever on any of the vaults, or has just been passed around from designer to designer. The problem with it is that you have to manually set it up with the different clothing options available (so for example, Haven's and ours are similar, but ours reflects the ACME categoy while theirs has way more naked options). In addition, ours has some additional advanced options (such as changing default boots, belts, helmets, etc. on armor) which are unique to our server. It also requires you to be using NWNX. |
