Greetings players of Sigil, Usually I do this later around the december, but I guess we've all got more time during our evenings, thanks to the anonymous "contributor" for the server, so in the meanwhile we're looking for our solutions and options, why not get something productive done with the complimentary spare time? Well I say productive, but really I mean playing video games. To the players in the community that are new what this whole "Christmas Give Away" thing is about, it's something I started two years back. Simply put I give out games for people laying claim to them first. And I've been gradually adding titles each year for this purpose and this year I've got quite the list! So do let me know if you're interested in some game! instructions down below. Shadow Warrior If you like first person shooters which don't take themselves too seriously in the story, then you'll probably enjoy Shadow Warrior. And it has a fairly decent swordsplay. Saints Row Ultimate Franchise Pack (Contains Saints Row 2, Saints Row 3 (all DLCs) & Saints Row 4 (all DLCs) If you like GTA gameplay, but would rather it abandoned all resemblance of seriousness, this is your thing. Bastion I actually have no clue what this game is about, but apparently it's good and it was also cheap during last discounts so here it is! FTL: Advanced Edition An amazing rogue like game where you control a small group of people and try to operate the ship, where the focus goes on the crew management and systems rather than flying your ship. So how do you claim these games? Well I'll need your email address to be able to send the gifts for you. That's more or less it, no strings attached although I'll be made your steam friend. I don't mind if you remove me from the list immediatelly after. These aren't baby steps for friendships, just gifts. Also just one game per person. Because fairness and all. Already claimed list: Ever wondered what comes if you play a game which is run narratively? The Stanley Parable makes that the entire concept, your choices, all of them, makes more narrative. Whether you choose to follow the narrator or not, is up to you. Who doesn't know what civilization games are about? If you like sneaking, steampunk and FPS gameplay, then Dishonored is perhaps for you. The world is quite unique and personally I loved the game. A turnbased tactic game utilizing small squads and building your forces in your base outside missions. Although chance has a great role in it too. Fantasy and cyberpunk mixed together, you'll get Shadowrun. A good and proper roleplaying game too. Some more psychological puzzle solving through minimalistic seeming areas, with surprising amount of depth. Another game which is apparently very good, but which I haven't played. It's a space simulator online game where you can be a space trucker with cargo, or a pirate or a slacker that doesn't do anything productive but flies around. But I believe the most defining factor on whether you might like it or not, is the space simulator part. Did you like the Stanley Parable? You might like the Beginners Guide, it's from same creators. It's worth noting that this game has run time of only hour and half roughly, but it is a very thought provoking experience which I can recommend for everyone. Do you like good ol' tabletop games? Maybe newer tabletop games? Card games? Tabletop Simulator comes with an extensive array of steamworkshop content that you can play and likely has your old favorite board games as well as new in there. |

Well I still remember having a ton of fun with my gift last year so why not try again! Thought which to choose is harsh... Stanley Parable seems like a fun, quick game that I'm sure I'd actually finish... Civilisation V to try and get a game with my brother. Banner Saga I don't know what it is but I've heard good things about. XCOM I've also had a friend rave on and on about, seems fun... Any of these would make me happy ![]() Also Bastion I can attest to being great, it's a relatively simple RPG that shows just how much you can do with so little when that little is just perfect. Quality over quantity. |

I knew Elite: Dangerous would be first to be claimed to Tomekk it goes. Plaxy gets Dishonored and... for Mick, well since you have a multichoice, I'm going to wait a while if others want one or the other of same games. To maximize "everyone gets something they want"

The following games have been claimed: XCOM, Civ5, Shadowrun, Antichamber, the Stanley Parable and Banner Saga. And just for players that feel like they are left out, I might make another round during steam christmas sales. |

I closed myself off in the past, while building a new world at the same time, pointing at the future, and more and more clearly I realised this world would have been my shelter, where I would have found salvation from all the miseries.
