Rolled up a SK and I got some questions for those who have played. Firstly, Power of my enemies, is that a +4 str total or +4 str bonus, thus 8 str? Does it stack with enchantments, cause if it doesn't and its only +4 it seems really useless. Secondly, Knife to the Soul. I can't find any proof its working. Nothing registers in the stats dialogue, no one is insta dying from my greatsword robbing them of all intelligence. (We're talking thralls and goblins here.) I have it activated. Is it bugged? |

It's +4 to your STR, not +4 to your STR modifier. And it's an Enhancement Bonus, meaning it doesn't stack with anything else (Except a few hard-coded exceptions like Rage). Think of it as a Bull's Strength spell. Most humanoids have at LEAST 8 INT. Knife to the Soul does at MOST (at level 30 with Powerful Strikes) 4 points of mental damage per hit. You will never be insta-killing a humanoid with it. You might be able to 1-shot animals and things with a similar level of INT, but even goblins and thralls are too high of an INT for that. |

I wasn't expecting instant deaths, just a slow leaching. I see that I read the description wrong as it is talking about power, for some reason I thought it was just damage, which would have been WAY higher. I knew it was too good to be true. So its the number of dice. . . gotcha. KK. So what blade skills would people suggest? |

It's half the number of dice. The other half remains normal psychic strike damage. |

In pen n paper yah a sentient being becones helpless after a mental stat hits 0 thus enables coup de gras. But in nwn2 a 0 stat just means -5 to everything that uses Int. Out side of making a wizard unable to cast his spells its faily useless in combat |

By default reducing a stat to 0 does not do anything in NWN2. However Knife to the Soul is specifically scripted to kill something that reaches 0 in their stat. |
