Mommy, Where Do Spores Come From?

But really, what stat is tied to the Myconid spore ability? Any info on the spore ability would be great actually, it's not very descriptive.

This works a bit like a disease, except it being a plant type growth it can affect even creatures immune to disease, including undead. Only constructs are comminly known to be able to resist the spores as they give nothing for the spores to feed on. If the target(s) fail their saves, then after a minute their bodies are consumed and a small myconid will rise from the remains to serve their master.

Sounds like it should be Con based kinda like how dragon breath is. But not sure off hand
