Does bleeding wounds work with spells like sneak attack does? |

" an Invisible Blade can use any light weapon to cause a bleeding wound (i.e. a handaxe or shortsword can be used, but not a rapier) " Also, I'd avoid taking Invisable blade - Its damage doesnt work against any amount of DR. And most end game enemies have some. |

Not entirely true, and I'd wish people stopped saying it already. The Invisible Blade bleeding damage acts as the same material type as your weapon is, meaning it can penetrate just a huge portion of DRs on that basis alone. There are however DR types on some creatures which care naught of your weapons material, such as Cornugons have epic DR, also (defender) elites gain epic DR feats, then there are barbarians and stalwart defenders also have their own DRs. I might remember wrong, but alignment based DR penetration also doesn't transfer into the bleeding damage. |

Quite frankly I am of the opinion that a bleeding wound should not be subject to DR at all |

I agree. It would be nice to replace the (hardcoded) feats with custom fixed ones so that it deals magic damage instead of physical damage. If I remember correctly, bleeding wound requires that the weapon deals at least 1 point of damage through DR, but after that, it's just further bleeding out of a hole you already made in the creature's hide -- the DR has already been penetrated enough for it to bleed. |

Could probably be done via the on_equip and on_unequip scripts, simply looking for a combination of it being an applicable weapon and the character having the necessary levels of invisoblade as an EffectDamageOverTime effect. I'm going to add this to my list on GitHub to see about when I start working on my next project, as it doesn't seem terribly difficult to apply. |

Applying this as a bleeding effect to weapons wouldn't work, Invisible Blade needs to be sneak attacking. It would need to be in the on-hit code, with proper checks to make sure it's a sneak attack and dealt at least 1 point of damage. |

But does it work with spells? The Arcane trickster (Warlock) says it qualifies for the class. Sneak attack works with blast, but will bleeding wounds give you a bleeding effect to your blasts? |

I don't think it does. |

No, it will not, because it only works with the specified invisoblade weapons. |
