So my Favored Soul who is Evil aligned has access to the spell Magic Circle Against Evil, I thought it would work like Magic Circle against alignment from it's description, just protect against evil alignment specifically. I seem to have been wrong... I casted it on my bonecrusher, and noting s displayed ![]() then I did myself, and same results. So my conundrum is wondering if the spell only works on Good aligned folk? If you look at the bellow it says "Good 2" in caster level section ![]() Yet the description matched the Magic Circle against alignment spell as showed bellow ![]() If it only works on Good aligned characters and that is how it's intended, might I request a full rebuild? It was rather misleading, or so I felt. :S |

Sorry for the double post here, but also I would to also add that Magic Circle against Alignment would seem to have been replaced with Magic Circle Against Evil in the divine caster spells lists, unless Magic Circle against Alignment was placed else ware intentionally in regards to spell level, or I need the good domain as a cleric? Also it seems that Magic Circle Against Evil in the images displayed above is almost exactly matching the bellow, perhaps the caster info is displayed a bit differently in scod than shown in the link bellow? http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Circle_against_Alignment Edited by DaftyXIII, Nov 12 2017, 10:29 PM.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask if something is bugged or not. . . I did investigate this on the Test Server with an Evil Character though. ![]() As you can see, before applying Magic Circle Vs Evil I was susceptible to Fear effects. Afterwards, I was immune. So it works. o / |

"Good 2" just means it's a level 2 spell for clerics with the Good domain. |

I am fairly certain [spell] 'against evil' is just the default version of the spell in neverwinter nights games and is not impacted by alignment unless modded to do so. |

oh I goofed, I should have said It's resolved after Sinlinara made her post, I wondered if it was alignment restricted as I know Holy Sword in the past was altered for a bit to Good alignment restrictions, so I was just making sure if it was tied to the Good Domain by chance with alignment a lock or not. Thanks tho for the input from you three tho
