I'm just starting to get back into the hobby and stumbled across your jeep build and all I can say is awesome :jeepy: I can see myself building several jeeps using these chassis. I just wish Tamiya or some of the other big manufactures would offer kits that looked like yours.

ok I was a little depressed to realize I've dropped nearly a $1000 on this one already making it my most expensive truck ever (more than I spent for my real truck actually) and the brown jokes won't end when I've had it out, but aside from that when I look at it I just know I could have done better so the other day I tore it apart and started the body all over with my favorite color Red. Since afterall with this kind of money invested in it I want to love the color when I look at it. I also have major cosmetic changes coming but red is the start. I took the chance to also fit some new Fender flares from RPP hobby to make it look beefier.

Here is a teaser:

Sorry guys I'm terrible about being online lately. Once winter sets in I'll be on more of course. I dropped another $250 into the hole in form of a Novak Goat brushless system and have been running it lately, needs to get softer but I'm liking it alot. My XC Jeep is actually more capable on many surfaces but the little XC never fails to entertain me and after this one I think I'll go back to building cheap XC projects for awhile :drive:

I use matte laquer for slight faded look of older trucks.
