Around here (in the States) you can find sheets of clear lexan or plexiglass at any home building center - Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. The same might be true where you live. :nice:

At all the building markets they have some sheets but thats to thick! It begins at 3mm thick and its not easy to cut!
Its to hard to, and if you cut it with a figur saw you get a cragh!! The wrong word i think sorry!
And i have looking at our local hobby shop but they have alreaddy the white sheets styrene! Not the clear ones.
Have to find it in another store or make it from another stuff.

Hmmmmm...3mm is pretty thick. I'd look for anything 1mm and thinner. And, don't cut it outright. Try scoring and breaking it. I've had to use the stuff a couple of time for temporary fixes on windows after son #2 has knocked them out with a baseball.

I've also used it instead of glass for framing pictures.

I just measure the dimensions, score it with a razor knife and steel square and bend it some. It'll break on the score line just about every time.

great work paal.

i always save lexan blister packaging to use for parts. there are so many product out there that have two layers of lexan with carboard in the middle. the rear panel is usually a flat rectangle wich is perfect for windows.

the blister side is usually some odd shape, but can be used to make things as well, a good example is i used the one a ball came in and cut out the blister and made a curved windscreen for a model.

in my house, nothing is ever garbage
