ha ha, that's pretty funny, i guess i asked for it. well have been juggling projects. started this chop top lowrider bug at the same time http://s13.zetaboards.com/rcjeeps/topic/6642096/4/#new also rolling around some ideas for this build. one was to use the hi-lift tranny, disassembled and re arranged somehow for this build to cut down on the cost and use things that i already have. i dont enjoy driving my hilift because it gets hung up on damn near everything, so i have always thought of replacing the drivetrain, so it needed to come out at some point. now its in pieces on my board as i wrap my brain around the concept. if i go with that tranny i will probably use my spare bruiser axles as well, cut down somehow, i havent decided on that either. so, nothing physical to see, all mental prep work right now as i sort ideas out in my head. that is pretty much how all my builds start. i will probably continue the work on the body in the next few days, just been good to take a break for a few days, i went full throttle on the brawler build for about three weeks there. |

i seen your last post and thought about it for awhile and thought to my self what the hell ill say it   but no rush i too have disassembled my high lift its not fun to drive with the tranny hanging up so i just stripped it down to two frame rails and used my parts on my yj build. i would like to see some pics of the bug :nice: that sounds cool it wouldnt let me see any with that link :banghead: im new to the bug scene i just bought a 1/1 that im trying to get shipped from fla to az its fully shaved ,bagged , custom paint, and the engine is bored out cammed and chromed with alot more mods but i havent seen it in person yet :banghead: just pics from my parents |
