Hey ho, lets go...

Since WildTrial here shows nothing but Jeeps, I kind of got hooked.
So now I will try to make a YJ my way.

I have gotten myself a Tamiya Jeep Wrangler, which I intend to use only the body. And now I have ordered the famous Anthrax chassi and some Yota axles. Gonna run with a TowerPro MG946R servo, Castle Creations Sidewinder Sport ESC and CCBEC.
Also I will try to use 1.55" OEM Steel Beedlock rims and 1.55" Mud Slingers from RC4WD.

Don't want to make the body narrow, so I am fguring out a way to modify the flares with tubes. So that it will get through the inspections that Wildtrail have on our competitions...His a though bast****!!

I have not found a picture of a 1:1 car I can copy, so I think I will have to use my brain... :yiaks:

It will also have a 4-link setup with probably 90mm RC4WD scale shocks.

Yesterday I got 3 CC-01 and I used 6 hours to assambly all chassies.

Here they all are

This is a mock up of the "new" flares without the tubing

What do you guys think? All new flares will have the same height as the body

That was just a test to see the width.
I have just cut the flares, need to cut the front first, then I can show you a picture

Don't know about the color, but I thought about copper body with flat black roof. Not sure what color it should have.

Shit...

should have cut the flares right next to the body, then I could have used them on other projects.

Well nothing to do about that now is there, need to cut more to fit my new flares.
